It's Bionic! They have the service, and they have a good selection and variety of Rock, Metal, Post, etc. Need a t-shirt, they have what you're looking for. The value is fine, there are deals if you dig, just depends on what you're looking for. :)

    Do they sell blues vinyls?

We get them here and there. We'll buy them whenever possible, but we don't see a lot.

As usual, I am surprised that I had not dropped a review for this bookstore, and I am here at least once a month, at the very least. Immense selection of books greeting cards, gifts, fiction, nonfiction everything is arranged and organized accordingly. I just love this bookstore. Great big parking lot that is free but it is shared among many businesses at the Long Beach town center. Great experience each time. Prices are fair (compared to Amazon?) at least you can actually pick up a book. Read it at the café and if you decide to buy it go for it if not, then just return it.

This Barnes & Noble is pleasant to look at from the outside, and upon entering the building, the…read morelayout is consistent with the standard Barnes & Noble franchise design. The store offers a large selection of books, with many titles covering the same genres but from varying perspectives, writing styles, and approaches. I visited with a specific purpose: to browse the spirituality, tarot, oracle, and divination section. While exploring the store, I also wandered through other departments to see if anything else caught my interest. Fortunately, I came across several items that I added to my mental list for a future purchase. However, the section I had originally come to see offered fewer choices than expected. This was both disappointing and surprising, as I have typically found a much wider variety of these subjects at other Barnes & Noble locations. Of course, I understand that each store's inventory varies. Unfortunately, my interactions with the staff significantly diminished the overall experience. During my visit, one employee repeatedly insisted that I take a shopping basket after I had already made it clear that I did not need one. She then entered my personal space, coming uncomfortably close to my face and behind my head while repeating herself several times. Her behavior came across as intrusive and demonstrated a disregard for personal boundaries, despite appearing to frame the interaction as customer service. I also used the restroom during my visit. It was a decent size, although it felt somewhat crowded. Given the volume of customers this location receives, I believe the restrooms could benefit from more frequent attention and maintenance. Finally, while checking out, I had another unpleasant interaction. The cashier made an unnecessary comment about the email address I provided, referring to it as "trash," or making a similarly negative remark. Regardless of the exact wording, the comment felt inappropriate, unprofessional, and entirely unrelated to completing my purchase. The overall price range is costly, the value is to be determined. Overall, the store itself is enjoyable to browse and offers a pleasant shopping environment. However, my experience with multiple employees left a lasting negative impression. If customer service and respectful interactions are important to you, this location may not meet your expectations. If you're simply interested in browsing the books and merchandise, your experience may depend largely on the staff you encounter that day.

Highlights: there is one stall/table that has the most SIGMA/AMAZING reggae records; 45's, Dub, old stuff, new stuff. I'm crying because I limit myself only to buy 3 things. One table near the back of the venue has the Doom, Stoner Rock, Crust Doom, Black Doom records. Did I say PUNK....amazing punk stuff found all over. I bought a Hendrix record (live in Maui) for 8 bucks used. JUST GO, and go every month. This is a great thing...don't miss it. OH YEA....Do you like JAZZ? Yup...massive jazz selection. Classic Rock, pop, K-pop, anything.....they also have CD's and cassettes ( bruh!!!)..go. You will be among your people:

Early admission is $10 to get in before 10am and general admission is $5 after 10am. To get here, there is a free parking lot with a good amount of spots. Inside, they have a bunch of vendors with so many crates to dig through. Vendors all have different prices and selection of genres. Wifey and I had a fun time perusing around and ended up leaving with a Getz/Gilberto and Snoh Aalegra vinyls. I would definitely recommend checking out the show for those looking to explore new records for their collection.

First, let me talk about their movie collection. Their DVD selection is awesome (thanks to the…read moreowner who has made that aspect a pet project). Most movies are found alphabetically. Along another wall are additional films sorted by "Hero." The "hero" is the common Hindi film term for the male lead. Tip: If you can't remember the name of a film , at least remember the name of the "hero," say, Sunil Dutt, or Raj Kumar. Heroines, while pretty (often stunning) won't be of any use as the films are invariably associated with the hero. The collection is immense. If you are into old films especially the classic black and white ones, then this place is your Mecca if you will. There are some Bengali films and some Punjabi as well. Like other places you can order titles if you can't find them. The music section is good. Not great, despite "music" being in the title. Yes, they have a good selection of CDs for most categories of Indian music, but searching for particular artists is not always easy as it is usually out of order to some extent. Furthermore the depth of titles for specific artists or genres is not what I'd expect or have seen in a few other places. In all fairness, the size of the store doesn't lend to a great amount of volume, and yet in reality it packs quite a bit for it's size. When in doubt or confused, ask one of the salespeople. Most of the time they are helpful, and one of the ladies in particular is relatively knowledgeable. If you're looking for instruments, understand that they carry "Bina." Bina is a Delhi based manufacturer that makes nearly every type of Indian instrument...from sitars, to sarods to tablas. Price wise, Bina intruments are relatively inexpensive to modest pricing depending on the level of quality of the instrument. (a student level sitar with decent finishing may cost around $500.00 or so) If you're looking to learn to play an intrument, then the intruments carried here aren't a bad way to start. However, if you are a decent musician with some experience and are looking for a good quality instrument, then I suggest you go online and search for better manufacturers...but expect to pay accordingly :) Anyway, Ziba is a fun place to browse and shop if you're a Hindi film nut or want to find some good music. Oh, another tip: if you're thinking of starting out into the strange world of Bollywood films, understand that suspension of disbelief is a term that probably was originally meant for these films in particular. If you ever had an odd appreciation for Busby Berkley girls and their elaborate costumes and dancing then you should feel quite at home watching a Bollywoood film - especially some of the older ones from the 50's and 60's. Along with the heros I mentioned above, Dev Anand was good if you appreciate the Bohemian. As for heroines, well I'm prejudiced and am an enormous fan of Nutan (first Miss India BTW!). Suchitra Sen was stunning, but I'd go for her Benagali films such as "Pothey Holo Deri" as Bengali was her native tongue and she often appeared stilted in her Hindi roles. The one exception to this is "Devdas" which is wonderful. As for music, while Lata Mangeshkar is rightfully lauded, Geeta Dutt is often overlooked.
