The staff was great! However the salads do not include chicken??? Just a thought, if you don't include chicken in your salad have an option to add. I paid $9 for a bowl of lettuce? All of the sandwiches are extremely undersized DKE the price. What $3.95 gets you elsewhere is $7.95 here. Don't even think about the chicken strips, they're terrible. Fries are obviously frozen and you can also do better. Drinks were surprisingly watered down. Overall terrible value, no so great food, and no reason to come here over Chick-Fil-A. read more

I love that they have a tofu patty option!! And even better...it's not soggy! I'm very picky about tofu as I find it too spongy sometime and these guys knock it out every time. Best Fast Food I've had in a long time! We had a large group of 11 (5 adults and 6 kids). Even with a large group and a packed house, the service was great. Our food was amazing, I had the Cajun and it was tender, tasty and fresh. All the kids enjoyed their meals too, which is hard to do, especially with my oldest who is a VERY picky eater. I think the Kiosk and ordering system is really cool, the kids loved selecting their meals. You can tell every detail is well thought out, from the ordering and fulfillment of orders, the organic food choices, the unique soda and beverages, and the decor, all the way down to the bathroom sink which doubles as a hand dryer. Birdcall is a much better alternative to Chick-fil-a. We will DEFINITELY be back! read more

Do not order take out! I've been twice and both times my order has been incomplete. I thought the first time was a fluke but twice in a row signals a problem. I figure they've overcharged me by $10. Fist time they left out an order of chicken strips and second time they left all the extras off my sandwich. Also mixed up my buffalo and ranch sauce orders. Tried to call when I got home but just got voicemail at the restaurant. Too bad they can't get orders right because the food is good. read more

I was never so surprised how easy it was to throw $12.00 into the garbage can! On Thursday, 4/22 I visited Birdcall for my first time hoping to find a decent little place for a good chicken sandwich. It was 3:30 in the afternoon. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Ceasar sandwich and what I got was obviously left over from their lunch hour. I did get fresh cooked french fries but that sandwich was completely cold. At least dead for a good 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Instead of considering that I had paid $8.00 for this sandwich and making me a fresh one, they just gave me the hours old leftovers. At this location they have no less than 8-10 pick up waiting areas. Why didn't they ask me to wait and they would bring out my order when it was ready? This is lousy fast-food service and food. I could have gotten a comparable hot chicken sandwich at McDonalds or Popeyes at a lower price. Don't waste your time unless you call ahead and find out when the fresh food is prepared! I am glad I can check Birdcall of my list of anything worth talking about. Bye-bye Birdie! read more

Well. I am more than disappointed. I eat at this location at least 2-3x per week. However, I am 1-5 at the drive thru. The order is wrong almost every time. They take care of me after the fact, but it is becoming comical on how Birdcall gets almost every order wrong at the drive thru. This may be my last time there due to the lack of accuracy and quality control. I'm sorry I have to write this because it is an amazing sandwich. My husband and I pick this 'chicken' eatery above all because in our opinion their chicken is absolutely the best. Quality of the 'bird' and their method of preparation and seasoning of same suits our palates. We also like the option of side dishes for the kids' meals --either french fries or cup of fruit --which fruit cup right now consists of very generous portions of fresh strawberries mixed with blueberries. The only reason we give this eatery four instead of five stars is because it is a little difficult to drive into it. Aside from being directly across from the heart of the DU campus on E. Evans, which as most Denverites know is a highly traveled roadway, the alternate entrance from. So. Franklin St. is also rather tricky. One should exercise a little extra caution when attempting to drive into their lot from either Evans or So. Franklin. read more

There are three panels to allow for it, but the third one isn't being used for anything useful. Also, I ordered and paid for a latte, but they just gave me a plain coffee and no receipt for proof...
