Stopped here for the first time today after reading about it in the Hartford Courant. I was glad I did my wife got the sandwich with mild seasoning and I had the tenders with medium seasoning It was all great and very juicy the slaw helps balance the heat in the seasoning and the fries were cooked perfectly. The only thing I will do differently next time is get the hot because I enjoy heat when it doesn't overpower the flavor and extra pickles. Good sandwich, but compared to Fowl Play down the road, it fell a bit short. Well-cooked with good flavor, but nothing spectacular. Fries were good, but again lacking a bit for me. I have high standards for hot chicken, having lived in Nashville for a few years. When it's done right, there is no other chicken that can match this combination of juicy interior with crunchy coating. Here, they do it right. Five stars right. Like most of the spots in Nashville, the menu only contains a few items, which seems to help with execution; they nail it every time. Every ingredient tastes fresh, each item is cooked or fried to a perfect texture, and orders come out in under five minutes. This is the best chicken in the state, and they would be plenty competitive down South. So why four stars? Because they always get the order wrong. Specifically, there are always missing items. Dine in, take out, door dash, doesn't matter. I've been here four separate times, and never once have I gotten every single item on the receipt. Sometimes it's an extra tender, sometimes it's a whole entree, but something is always missing. In reality, it's worth removing more than one star, but the last thing I want is to hurt a small business that is making such a fantastic product during the pandemic. They do correct their mistakes when you ask, so I recommend either eating in or triple checking your take-out order. If you actually get everything, it's hard to do better. read more

I've tried all of the varying heat levels and each one really maintains that full delicious flavor. The shake fries compliment the sandwich perfectly and the comeback sauce ties it all together perfectly. The tenders are equally amazing and the homemade chocolate chip cookies are downright addictive. This is absolutely a weekly favorite now and a regular craving! That sandwich was one of the tastiest things I've put into my mouth. $8.99 for a huge, well seasoned, juicy as hell, crunchy, tangy, buttery fried chicken sandwich. We do a round trip from Boston to NYC a few times per year and decided to stop in on our way home. So glad we did and we plan to come back on our next trip. Hey there! I came on a Sunday evening. Was greeted immediately by staff. Since I checked the menu on Yelp before hand I knew what I was ordering. I've got the SANDO (Hot) and fries and a vinegar slaw. I was expecting a COLE slaw with mayonnaise; it would have been perfect balance with the heat. The temperature of the sandwich was hot like 107°. Fried chicken should be done at 165°F. But it was perfect you don't want to burn it. I will bring my sister who raged about Chick's and Popeye's hot sandwich. Anyways I brought the slaw with me home will add mayo. The best chicken sandwich in town! About the overall appearance and concept of the restaurant I like the menu is just 4 FOUR main items! Cut to the chase!
