On my way back home to Brooklyn from Greenwich Ct, I decided to take my time and pick out a nice Yelp rated car wash that wouldn't be a complete careless, sloppy rip off. I saw the seven stars this place had, and something told me to give them a shot. I pulled up and was immediately greeted by Birdie. He kind of made it clear you needed an appointment, but business is business and he added my car into the line and got his guys working on it pretty quick. For $30, I got the most thorough, detail orientated, eco friendly, and shiniest car wash I ever got in my life. They cleaned the edges of the doors, the interior, the dashboard, the windows, inside and out, even the trunk!!!!!! The crew went bananas wiping every nook and cranny. I texted the owner (Birdie) to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately rain was in the forecast so we rescheduled for the next week and they were extremely flexible and fit my schedule. I had my truck parked in the driveway and the crew showed up, did everything they had to do and not once came to the door or asked me for anything other than to tell me they had finished. Went to Birdies Auto Spa for the first time today. Car was covered in salt from the road after some recent (very small I might add) "snow storms" we had recently. The car looked horrible. LOVE the idea of using steam to clean the car. Went to his website, watched the videos and of course read the reviews here. I couldn't be *more* happier! After the wash and wax, the car looked amazing! They brought it outside and went over it a few times fixing minor areas the needed a touch-up to make it that much more amazing. I have been going to Birdie's Auto Spa since it was opened in 2011. To this date, I have still yet to find a place that does a better car wash/detail in the Northeast. Eric, or Birdie, is a great guy and will do what it takes to please every customer. With a comfortable waiting room with coffee, water, tv, and a great layout of all there services, there is nothing to not like, plus he has wifi! I cannot take my car anywhere else now due to the detail that Eric and his team put into every car. He treats the details of a Ferrari just the same as he treats the details of a Mini Van just looking to get some dirt off. I have yet to see an unhappy customer, or anything close to a dirty car. Even if you have specific requests, Eric takes the time to get them completed. I took my 2008 BMW 335i for an exterior detail and had a couple small scratches on the rear quarter panel, Eric was more than happy to address those with the products he had on hand, and completely made them disappear! When it comes to my car, i don't let anybody work on it. Birdie came as a recommendation from a good friend of mine (also a car enthusiast). Birdie's is different from the rest in that he uses steam to wash cars which is very eco-friendly. Not only is there no waste of excess water, but you won't get any of those horrible drips that run down your car (huge plus!). Birdie (Eric, the owner), is a great and friendly guy. He will not rip you off and is very professional. He will go out of his way to hep you and make sure you are happy. My dad, who is in no way a car guy (ironically owning a AMG), has been going here for his car washes. Trust me, this says a lot! The guys here seriously do an amazing job. I emailed Birdie's to get a gift certificate for Father's Day - I was late in getting it and they took all my info and got it to me the day before Father's Day (which was a Saturday) and they were super helpful and accommodating! Can't believe this place does not have a review yet! I saw them restore and salvage cars that were under water like brand new cars. They use steam to clean cars. Very eco-conscious business. Superbly detailed and convenient! I have been taking my SUV to a car wash in Cos Cob for years and always came back with a semi cleaned look - this is a WHOLE other level. Every crumb from my kids and dogs vanished, the car literally shines. He was able to do some special compounding to get some marks our of my finish. Appointments are always prompt and timely. As an added bonus, I won a drawing for a free detailing worth $150! I read all these great adds. Sounds like it would be a great service if they actually provided it. I was appalled by the customer service. The guys showed up 15 minutes early which is great. I said you know you guys are early so ill be down in a few and i just have to drive the car across the street. Instead of taking this with pleasure. They call were boss who threatens me that they will leave its not ready by 2:30 out appointment time. I would have been ready had they just accepted that the appointment was starting at 2:30. I had my car detailed here and was not impressed in the least. My seats still had stains left that I was told would come out easily. After I went home I got some clean rags sprayed some Fantastic on them and cleaned the cloth seats myself. My rims had some of the same black stuft on them from before the detail, I really thought I would have had a better cleaning because of those cool looking steam machines that they use. Not sure if they didn't use the stronger setting on the machine or what. All I know is next time I need my car cleaned I will be looking for another shop. read more

My brother, dad and I have been coming to Birdie's for a year now. Each time our cars come out looking better than ever. Whether its a 'simple' steam wash or a full detail, its amazing what Eric and his crew are capable of. Last week my brother took the wash and orbital polish service and also asked Eric to compound polish his headlight lenses. Birdies is the best car wash around. Only place I've been to that doesn't leave swirls and the only place I feel is worth my money based on the attention they give every vehicle. I will not bring my vehicle to any brush washes or even other hand washes that use the same soap and wash mitt on every vehicles.
