Two weeks ago I went to Splash in Greenwich, I commented I was disappointed is an understatement. Since US1 is local and they just completely renovated I decided to give them a try. First item that caught my eye was the price, lower a good sign, the whole place was well lit bright and inviting. The people at the front end seemed to make a little more effort in getting the top dirt off. All I wanted was the basic service and there was no attempt to upsell me which was a pleasant surprise. My only issue was at the end. You exit and there are employees there with towels to wipe down the car, well wipe they did but my windows were more smudged after! Not a big deal but still a deduction of a star. All in all my experience was better than expected given the abundance of poor reviews. read more

I've been at this carwash a few times and they offered average service. The last visit the cost was $10 for a basic (December 2024). They help you dry with towels which I think is a plus. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! One of the worst experiences after being a long-time customer. I paid for the high-end car wash and left dirty. When I went back he said he will wipe it down for me with all the dirt on it. These people are morons and do not honor the value of a true clean wash. Just horrible. $9 gets you an exterior wash and auto rags dragged over your car. They don't vacuum or wash the windows or even towel dry the car. It's virtually a pointless waste of $9. Without vacuuming, window cleaning or towel dry you have to ask, what am I getting for an exterior hose down. Don't even consider this place find another wash or do it yourself. read more

I just pulled in to get my car cleaned. They advertise they are 100% brushless but they clean the cars with a broomstick with a brush at the end of it. I cringed at this and left ASAP knowing they must be the worst place to wash my car in all of port Chester and amateurs at best. A pressure washing could replace the broom stick easily and will not scratch the paint. The average customer does not know that the brushes will scratch your paint and leave tons on swirl marks. read more

Used this place about 3 times out of convenience. About $10 to drive through the carwash. Operated by one or two men that will take your money and prescrub but any heavy grime on tires etc will be left behind. No interior cleaning but if you would like there are quarter operated vacuums. The dryers leave water on the car and the men don't dry the car unless you specifically ask and pull around to the vacuums. No tire dressing, no windex for interior windows. Always a line around lunch time and they only accept cash. read more

Left one star because I couldn't leave zero. I paid $9 for soap and water. They didn't dry it afterwards I had to while they all stood around and did nothing. Rims were filthy. Don't waste your money. Horrible!! read more

The worst part of my experience at US 1 Brushless Carwash was not the fresh dings I noticed all over the hood of my car when I got home and parked, but the way the manager Hope responded to my inquiry about customer protection a few minutes later when I returned to ask her about it. Its understandable neither of us would ever want to have a discussion about vehicle damage. Hell, I didn't even want to go back to pursue the issue any further. Fully anticipating little cooperation and knowing my own insurance didn't cover such things, I was willing to cut my losses. But with a little encouragement from a friend, I returned to see if there was anything they could do about it. I wasn't angry with the service or management, as my actual experience going through the car wash was fast and pleasant and any damage incurred was obviously not out of negligence or intent. However, the moment Hope saw that I'd come for an inquiry about damage to my car, the entire interaction became debased enough for tabloid television. Never mind the fact that Hope called the police on me (twice) to claim that I was harassing her 60 seconds after she found out what I was there for, she was rude, condescending, disrespectful, and ultimately so fearfully defensive about an issue that could have easily been discussed in a simple question and answer format that I regretted coming back to talk to her in the first place. I definitely believe it's important for anyone who runs a business to receive grievances with grace, as there will inevitably come a day when someone for whatever reason will be unhappy. Hope could have easily communicated to me the limits of her services, apologized, and sent me on my way. Perhaps that wouldn't have fixed my car, but it would have preserved the perception of professionalism I could have had with this place. Instead, she was so rude, so crass, so unprofessional, and so vile, that simply not having met her would have garnered this place five stars. Just be careful. If your car incurs any damage, particularly at this carwash, don't expect to receive any respect, and be sure your insurance will cover it. read more

$9 to wash have your car wash. After they run it through the washer, they don't even dry your car nor clean the inside of it. They have a section where you can park your car to do that yourself and pay extra for the vacuum. What's the point? read more
