FINALLY!!! I found my favorite pair of work shoes ever here a month or so ago. I hadn't even planned the visit but was walking by and thought "I hate my work sneakers: my feet hurt every day when I come home". I bought a pair of black work shoes here, and the owner was right.... after a few days or so they start to mold to your foot shape, so no orthotics, no foot pain.... I Love them!!! They were pricey, but I spend so much $$ trying to find good work shoes and they're all crap--- these are totally worth it. They will last a reallllly long time- they're made really well. read more

JoAnne is super! She is so knowledgeable about shoes and really helpful in getting the right fit. I have very narrow feet and have a hard time finding shoes that fit. My wife wears Birkenstock shoes and took me to JoAnne's shop to see if they would work for me. I have never worn sandals and the Birkenstocks didn't work for me. JoAnne had me try some Vionic tennis shoes which run narrow. They worked! Her ability to think outside the box is impressive and she goes the extra mile to find a solution. read more

This is an amazing place to get Birkenstocks. The sizing and fit can be fussy, but the owner is really kind and informative about the shoes. The owner is absolutely amazing and SO helpful. I had purchased a pair of strappy birkenstocks from here (and had only worn them twice). One of the straps came out from the bed of the shoe. I was a bit nervous about taking them in since I had purchased them over a month ago, but I took it in to see if she could repair it and she told me she'd order me a new pair Immediately. This shoppe has been in Ventura for years and it's taken that long for me to drive by when they are open and time allows.
