The only pair I liked in my size was also the last pair they had, but they were noticeably scuffed and damaged. I asked an employee if leather conditioner would fix the marks, and she honestly told me she wasn't sure because some of the scuffs looked pretty deep. She asked a coworker to take a look, and he was actually fantastic. He showed me how to properly condition the boots, explained that some of the damage would probably still be visible after the conditioner dried, and was very knowledgeable. Since they were the last pair and were clearly damaged, I asked if they offered any kind of discount. He said they could probably do 10% and would check with the manager. I also asked if they offered a military discount, and he told me yes, that was another 10%, so I would receive both. He came back after speaking with the manager and told me she approved it, with the only condition being that the boots would be final sale because they were damaged. While I thought that policy was odd, I agreed because I really wanted the boots. He put the boots aside at the front while I continued shopping. When I checked out, I told the cashier the boots at the register were mine. As soon as he picked up the note, his entire attitude changed. He questioned why I was receiving the 10% discount, and even after I explained that another employee had already spoken with the manager, he interrupted me and said he had to verify it. I honestly felt like he thought I had made the whole thing up. The manager came over, seemed visibly annoyed, and spoke quietly with the cashier. I showed my military ID. Right then I received an important phone call that I had to answer, but while I was on the phone the cashier was still able to ask if I had a rewards account and continue checking me out. After the manager walked away, he scanned everything, gave me my total, and never mentioned that the manager had changed her decision. It wasn't until I looked at the total and specifically asked whether the discount had been applied that he finally told me the manager had decided not to honor the damage discount after all. At that point I had somewhere I needed to be, I needed the boots, and I didn't have time to argue, so I paid and left. What bothers me most isn't even the discount itself--it's the lack of communication and professionalism. If the manager changed her mind, someone should have simply told me before ringing everything up instead of waiting until I noticed the total. On top of that, I still don't understand the logic of selling a visibly damaged item at full price while also saying it can't be returned because it's damaged. The employee who originally helped me Jerry I think was excellent and deserves recognition for his customer service. Unfortunately, the manager and checkout employee experience completely overshadowed that. For what should have been an exciting first experience buying my first pair of boots, it ended up leaving a really bad impression. I will not be back again.

She is one of the most down to earth business owners we've ever met and she is extremely knowledgeable about the brand. She proceeds to tell me "please take that clog, it's my last one and everyone keeps asking if we'll get more!" I tell her the pair I was wearing someone gifted me about 8 years ago. She said as soon as I walked in the store she was going to tell me I couldn't leave without buying a new pair because of how worn they were and that those weren't supporting my lower back. So I asked her to give it to me straight about the price and she immediately said she'd give me a discount since it was the last pair! As a mom of four I was like umm yes please because I'm super frugal. So I went to pay and scrounged through my purse for any cash I had to avoid as much possible from the credit card processing fee-luckily I had a bit since my bday had just passed. I gave her the cash and asked if I could pay the remaining with card. She says you know what... I'll give them to you for the cash you just gave me. I said what are you serious?!?! And she said "yes you need them to keep raising those babies." I gave her a hug and told her thank you because it was more of blessing than she knew. I was ready to buy online, but I decided to pop into the store to get a better feel for what would be comfortable. Like most apparel and shoe stores, this one had a large selection of women's shoes and a smaller selection of men's shoes. But an associate helpfully led me to the shelf that had the shoe I was interested in. I tried different options but found that I needed extra wide, which was not available in my size. I was ready to give up since the shoe was on Amazon at the same price, but the associate came back to check on me. I told her about my requirements and she checked the back and they actually had the shoe that I wanted! There was also a 40% off sale here, and the return policy is a generous 45 days, better than Amazon's 30 days. So it totally made sense to buy here, and it also supports our city. Shopping at outlet stores doesn't always get you the best price, but in this case it absolutely did!

Haley showed me similar shoes that might work but I didn't like the color-ways. She ended up helping me because Jacob was busy with another customer who couldn't wait his turn to buy some sunglasses. It's ok- some people may be on a tight schedule and we weren't rushing. Have been going to Asics for years and will continue to show them support along the coast from San Clemente to Santa Barbara. Love the Gel Nimbus as well aa a couple others being my top picks. The shoes are made with quality and durability. Limited selection but what they do have is great. When we left the store we checked online and UGG sells them for $20 less online and every other retailer was selling them for $20. So not only is the outlet not cheaper. They're actually more and they're lying to your face about the pricing. This is dishonest business practices and deceiving the consumer. It's not OK total scam.

Unfortunately, the experience was marred by poor customer service. While we were initially greeted by a young gentleman, that was the last positive interaction we had. When I approached the register to request a specific size, the young woman barely acknowledged me as she got off her phone. Instead of actively assisting me, she simply pointed towards the shoes and carelessly placed a pair on the display shelf without even handing them to me. She didn't make eye contact, nor did she show any interest in helping me further. I found this encounter particularly disappointing. Given that the display was located near the entrance and there were no shoes visible underneath the table, I had no way of knowing where to find what I needed. This lack of engagement and assistance has led me to conclude that I would prefer to shop online rather than endure such poor in-store service in the future. With this horrible service I wouldn't be surprised if this location gets shut down. Terrible!
