This restaurant has a prime location along a busy street with plenty of other restaurants and shops in Venice. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. We were seated at an outdoor table for two. The menu has plenty of salads, about ten pizzas, and pastas. We wanted a pizza so we asked the waiter how many slices were in the pizza. He said the pizza was for one person only. Although surprised, we took him at his word and I ordered a pizza and my husband ordered an antipasto plate. We also heard him tell this to other patrons nearby. When the pizzas arrived we all learned each pizza had six slices in it. We had the diavolo pizza. It was decent but not great. The antipasto plate had a lot of meat on it, two small olives, and some dry lettuce. There was no dressing on it and none was offered. Again, it was decent but not great. We stopped by for lunch while doing some sightseeing and shopping - they have a no sharing policy, so we split a pizza and an antipasto salad which was more than enough for two people. Overall, both were decent though an exceptional. Service was reasonable with the waiter calling my wife "lady." I don't think he meant it offensively, it probably just comes across a bit awkward in translation (ok lady, what can I get you lady, etc.?). Overall, you're not paying for the pizza and salad, you're paying for the opportunity to sit outside and people watch in a wonderful neighborhood of Venice. Pricing including drinks was 45 Euro, which is a reasonable value. read more

We were looking for something other than pasta for lunch and we ended up at Pedavena. There were a few tables outside but they were full and we were seated way in the back. It was air conditioned so it was a nice cool spot to sit and rest our feet after a long morning of walking. Husband had chicken and I had a salad. The salad had black olives, carrots, mozzarella cheese, corn, and tomatoes. Not my typical garden salad but all the veggies were fresh and it tasted great. Service was good. Great little restaurant off the beaten path in Venice. Had the liter of beer, served in a BIG glass boot. Great on a hot and humid day. I started with the mussels and clams in the white wine and garlic sauce. Delicious. Sorry to say it was way better than my go to spot in the USA, Dirty Pierre's. I also had the lasagna with the Bolognese sauce. Again, delicious. My better half had the fried calamari. No complaints from her. Highly recommend. read more

We had just arrived in Venice and we were exhausted and famished. We were a group of 12 and needed to eat soon. The waiter came out and greeted us immediately. He asked us what language we spoke and once he knew he showed us the menu in our language. All the waiters were spectacular. We needed to find out where we needed our COVID test done before traveling and the lady waiter helped us. She even called her friend that works in the hospital. Their service was stupendous. Aside from the service the food was delicious. I ordered grilled chicken, my kids pizza margarita, salami pizza and pomadoro pizza. Everything was great!! I recommend this place. read more

Not happy with this place. They do not allow plate sharing. We ordered house wine by the glass and when our bill came they'd charged us more for the wine (because they said we'd ordered something more expensive)...this happened with multiple glasses. The waiter in general was a snot about all of this. Do not recommend. They have a premium location and act like it. Apparently just too much traffic to care about their guests. Reasonably priced for Venice. Staff were friendly, they let me use the bathroom earlier in the day so we returned here for lunch. We had seafood salad and prosecco, and both were light, refreshing and delicious. Very impressed by this little place. Looks can be deceiving read more
