I love birria and I used to like birrieria Gonzales. This truck is near my job in Huntington Park but to be honest I don't think this birria is worth the money. It is overpriced and food quality is not the best. You order a mulita for $4 (plus tax) and barely get some cheese on it. I've had better mulitas at the street tacos for less money. $2.20 for a can soda? $4 for a jarrito? Naah. It's not worth it. Also, they have this guy who always seems to be bothered. I SAID Got dang, got dang, got dang. Usually I have to travel to Tijuas to get the best tasting beef birria but not anymore. Now I just have to travel to Van Nuys. Look, I've has the birria fresh off the truck AND I've had it after it's been sitting for a while because the person that loves me the most, my fiance brought it to me. I've also had this a day later and even though it taste the best when it's fresh off the truck I ain't mad at the other days or hours! It's that good. You must try the Milpitas and the tacos Dorado with the consume (juice or stock) add some onions & cilantro and you're good to go. Usually, I like adding lemon to the birria but this beef is so juicy and tender it seemed like a dang shame to put lemon juice on it. You'll want to take some home and I recommend you do. Ger there as early as you can. We got there at 9 & there was already a line and get there before 1 pm before they run out and your turned away. read more

I came here for the first time. And their service sucks, theres 2 ladies trying to give you service(1 with blonde hair and fake ass eyelashes and the other one with highlights). But with a freaking attitude, one of them is wearing her mouth mask under her chin and talking to the other one about persinal stuff. This place is amazing! We came in just in time because we had no wait line, it did take time to get our food. I had un taco dorado, un taco and a tostada. Everything was delicious even the salas was good. My only concern was when i got my place my tostada was already soft and it didn't taste like i hoped for. They offer bottles aguas frescas and both Mexican and can sodas. Having birria is a must with a Mexican Coke. Over all great service, great food and will be coming back for more. read more
