Muy buena birria con mucho sabor y mas que nada que es de chivo. Ordene tacos dorados que incluían queso que usualmente no es de mi agrado pero si estaban buenos. También ordene tacos de cachete que estaban buenos con tortillas hechas a mano. El consomé fue mi favorito ya que no esta muy encondimentado y tiene su sabor a la carne y no tanto a especies. El servicio es muy rápido apesar de estar bien ocupados mas en los domingos por la madrugada con medio mundo llegando crudo. Small joint with limited seating literally like 3 tables however the tacos are legit. Here for the birria and it didn't disappoint. Prices are reasonable about $2.50 plus tax per taco. Refreshing homemade bottled drinks are around $6. Take home consome birria broth is about $5. The sauces that they have are quite spicy so Tread lightly. I love spicy but it was a bit much for me. Wow! What can I say? I know how to make birria and this place is so great! It's a very small place but the flavor is so yummy. Hand made tortillas and you can either have dry birria with consomé on the side or birria con consomé. The service is great; the owners are very nice and they go out of their way to please you. I honestly haven't had Birria this good or this type since the rancho in Michoacán. The meat just hits different. You can smell the animal in a good way. I had a tack de cachete and let me tell you! So let me start of by saying that this place is a hidden gem in the city of Maywood. I came across this place through a friend so I decided to check it out. I'm not very fond of goat meat birria because in some places they leave you with the after taste but O M G this place is BOMB! tried a couple of items on the menu. Started with the "Birria con Caldo" plate and I have to say the small size is good enough for two people but you'll want your own lol. The meat is really tender and the juice has the perfect taste. It comes with hand made tortillas on the side. They're the taco size which I feel are the perfect size. They"re really good and freshly made. Then we tried the "Tacos de Birria" which are also delicious and the tortillas for the tacos are also handmade. They give you consomé on the side which you can pour over your tacos and you SHOULD because it makes them even better. Whatever you don't finish you can prep it with onion, cilantro, and lime and drink the rest. Sounds weird but if you're Mexican you'll know what I'm talking about. If you're not just trust me and try it lol. Then we also tried their "Quesadilla de Birria" added consomé to that as well and oh lord amazing. To end it we had a "Quesitaco de Birria" which is just like a regular taco but with cheese, which was also really good I added consomé to this as well and it was even better. I have to say everything is good. They have different meats such as Asada, cachete, and cabeza but they were all sold out. Overall this place was really good. It's really tiny but really good. It's family owned and you can tell the owners care about their business. Very humble and sweet people and really make the customer feel appreciate it! I would pay them a visit. I love a hole in the wall that has good food like this place. I had the birria soup. The rich, flavorful broth is what I will remember. When I got my soup though, it did not look like the picture, at all, from the menu. The pic shows big chunks of meat and bones piled high above the bowl full of broth. In my soup, you couldn't see anything but liquid that needed to be skimmed of the fat, big time. Under that was very small chunks of meat. Disappointing presentation for sure. Came in here to try it out. Did not disappoint. Is a hidden spot on Atlantic. Small place inside. I took my pot not knowing if they were gonna help me out, to my surprise they did. The only hiccup was that in pot orders there's no tortillas, you'll need to buy tortilla orders which they are pricy, $1.50 / 5 small tortillas.
