When I saw that they do have a weekend lunch buffet I knew I had to come over and try it. I really like Indian food and I do like trying different variety of curries and dishes when I am at a Indian restaurant. Lunch buffet would be the best option which is Affordable and it is only for $20. They have a wide selection of meats to vegetarian and really nice rice and biryani's. Also the lunch buffet do you come with some non and we got to try out there garlic naan which is my favorite. . In the lunch buffet there is a green Chicken Tika Which is Blended with Green spices and it was very moist chicken And had so much flavor . They also had a red Blended spices with curry and chicken it was very different and it was bone fall off and it wasn't too spicy but very flavorful. They also had a goat haleem which is Blended with mutton and wheat or lentils to make it very smooth like porridge and filled with stringy tender meat. I also like their song paneer which is a spinach and cheese which was really great vegetarian option in the buffet. I also like their zera rice which is a flavor basmati rice with dry onions on top which was really great. They're chicken biryani was very flavorful and I also like the fluffy rice and spices in it. They're tandoori chicken kabob was boneless and it was cut into cubes and it was really good and tender but it was a little bit salty for my tasting. Also they do have great selection for desserts gulab jamun like a fried donut with syrup and rice pudding too. . The service was really great and they were attended with refilling our water and asking if everything was okay. The Ambiance is casual and they have plenty of seating with a booth or table of your choice. . Overall If you're looking for an affordable Buffet this is a great opportunity to come try out new dishes from South and North India Cuisine. I also got to try their mutton Mandi off the menu which is a big platter filled with lots of flavor Biryani rice with spices, nuts like cashew and almond and dry onions and in the middle there is three giant pieces of tender flavorful mutton. This is a great platter to share with friends and family. . Also they have butter chicken here, the sauce is thick and flavorful and the chicken was moist and it was white chicken meat. All the meat here is served as Halal which I really like because the texture of the meat is usually more tender and juicy. . I also got to try cheese naan bread which was cheesy and my favorite is still there garlic naan which is thin and they really oven it to crispy and I really like that. The aroma of the garlic is just so irresistible good. Hope this review helps. Thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day.

This place is a Hidden Gem! Everything we ate here was flavorful, spicy and delicious. What a good find in the Fair Oaks area for lunch or dinner. Many options with the Daily buffet. The servers were very nice too.

Had a great experience at Biryani and Beyond. We stopped here while driving and were really impressed with the flavors and variety. Everything tasted fresh and well made. We tried the Chicken 65, boneless goat haleem, Chicken Dum Biryani (true Hyderabadi style), and Chicken Mandi -- all were flavorful and satisfying. The biryani especially stood out with its aroma and spice level. We also enjoyed the badam kheer and matka chai, which were a perfect way to end the meal. Service was friendly, portions were generous, and it felt like a great spot for anyone craving authentic Indian food. Definitely a solid stop, especially if you're on the way to Tahoe or nearby. Will be coming back again!

This is the perfect spot for a late night meal! They open later than most in the area and the food was amazing. Adeeb was super kind to us and brought out our food on time for takeout. It was nicely packed and delicious. We had the hakka noodles, reshmi kabob, and chicken dumplings biryani. All delicious with large portions. Very affordable price as well! The space is large with lots of dining space and clean! We will definitely be back and check them out. Amazing biryani and legit kabob!!

If you're craving authentic Indian street food in the Sacramento area, stop everything and head straight to Biryani and Beyond at 8121 Madison Ave, Fair Oaks! From the moment you walk in, the ambiance hits you with Desi vibes off the charts--colorful, energetic, and full of life! Hafeez, the amazing manager, makes you feel right at home with his hospitality and passion for great food! Let's talk about the food... OH MY GOL GAPPE!! I had the Pav, which came out hot, fresh, and soft like clouds, with a slight hint of sugar that made it absolutely addictive! Perfect to soak up any curry or just eat as-is! But the real star of the show... the Gol Gappes (aka Pushkas, Pani Puris... whatever you call them, they're LEGENDARY here!) They were the best I've ever had, and I've had a LOT--even back in Hyderabad! The puris were ultra-crunchy, the pani had the most divine blend of tamarind, cumin, coriander, and just the right kick! The raw onions tucked inside added the perfect bite. I had 6... but I could've easily polished off 5 more This place is a street food lover's dream come true! I can't wait to go back and explore more of the menu--maybe some chaat, kebabs, or of course, the biryani! Massive shoutout to Hafeez and the team for bringing a taste of Hyderabad to Fair Oaks! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience authentic Indian flavors with street food soul!

Decided to try the new Indian restaurant in the FO for my birthday. We went as a group of seven, which is great because we just ordered a little of everything and got to try a bunch of stuff. I love Indian food, LOVE it, and this might be the best I've had in the Sacramento area so far. Everything is extremely fresh, made to order, at the exact spicy level you order it at, and the service is impeccable. Do yourself a favor and run, don't walk, to this place and get ready for a tasty adventure. Don't forget to start with the Panipuri Shots! Their take on the Indian street food classic is insanely tasty and fun to eat!

Clean, simple, cafe with nice friendly staff. Had "Chicken 65": small morsels of fried chicken basted with very tasty sauce. Lamb Chop ribettes on hot sizzling pan on grilled red onions, "Mutton Marsala" (tender bits of mutton in rich spiced gravy) unfortunately it was too spicy for me so I took it home, added lentil soup & rice. Perfect!

Meat was very tender. Very little gamey flavor from the mutton. Service was good. It was a little warm inside though. Nice ambience.

Last dish we ended up taking home.

The place was clean but the carpet and tile floors made it look like it was under renovation. The 4 items that we ordered took awhile to come to the table, one at a time with significant time in between each one so we were full by the time the chicken rashmi kebab arrived. Overall everything was good. The chicken in the Pakistani biryani dish was delicious but the rice was bland. The non-alcoholic panipuri shots with savory puffs were spicy and refreshing. Ordered both butter and garlic naans and garlic naan was definitely better. The chicken rashmi kebab was delicious but by the time it finally came out, we were full from the chicken biryani, naan and panipuri shots so we took it home. It was delicious overall but the bright lights, partial tile over carpeted floors and tile wall border and LED tube lights was more mismatched than eclectic. When renovations are done we will be back.

Place was empty but clean. Cooks eating ( a good sign). Ordered dal, biranyi, Raita, pakora with chickpea, naan assortment. Friendly staff and she mentioned they were having phone issues. At home unpackaged the bag. Everything was packed well. Flavors were great. I thought the dal a little salty but my wife thought it was great. I wish we had ordered just the onion naan, it was great! Carmelized and delicious. The raita was delicious. Pretty sure it's homemade. Creamy and flavorful. Overall it deserves a 5 for food , prices and service and we will be back again. Was looking for lunch in the area and saw a Fatburger sign at a pizza place. Remembering my SoCal…read moreroots that seemed like a good option. However, the restaurant is being renovated and they were not yet serving Fatburgers and so I left - disappointed and hungry. As I was about to get in my car, I spied this restaurant next door. I had long seen it but never stopped. It beckoned me and I went in. The space was dived into a rather large dining room and a to go ordering space. There was one other patron in the restaurant and I learned it was his first time too. His food smelled so good as it was brought to him sizzling on a platter. I ordered the Chicken Saag and added Thali style, which added bread, salad, and soup to the entree. Good is prepared to order which was lovely. My waiter was attentive and offered water multiple times before I got my meal. He did not speak much English as I learned as I tried to get more ice in my water. He persevered and figured it out! My food arrived smelling and looking good. I love spinach and enjoy it cooked this way. There was a generous amount of very tender chicken pieces mixed in with the spinach. The seasoning was mildly seasoned which allowed my palate to enjoy each distinctive flavor. The vegetable curry was also tasty - cauliflower, carrots, green beans and a variety of mild herbs and seasonings. I also enjoyed the dal - again no bold flavors - but tasty and satisfying. The rice was fluffy and plentiful - more than enough fur the accompanying components of the meal. The highlight of the Thali was the most delicious Naan I've had in a long time. There were two perfect slices with ghee spread on top. I made an Indian "taco" with one of the slices and the chicken saag and a bit of the coconut rice pudding dessert. Most enjoyable bite! As usual, I was unable to eat it all and boxed the remains for dinner later. All the while, there were Asian-influenced music videos playing expressing a meditative theme. I sincerely recommend this restaurant - nice atmosphere, good food, wonderful service. I continue my quest to support local businesses whenever possible and encourage you all to do the same.

I decided to order the lunch special with Chef's special chicken curry . he asked what my spice level, and I said not too much. Medium to mild. Well obviously, there was a loss in translation somewhere, because the curry was pretty spicy. Right up to the very edge of what I can handle for spicy. There was a salad that was basically onions and tomatoes, the tomatoes helped cut down the spice a little bit. It tasted OK, it was just way too hot. It came with two sides, which were good, as well as naan, and basmati rice, which I love. The price was reasonable. I will come back again, just the next time I will be absolutely sure to ask for the mild. Thank you.
