Saw a reel on instagram about this place and was in the area to finally try it out. Chose the wrap with the nehari (pulled beef). The flatbread was very light buttery and flaky. The beef was spiced well and there were some onions and cilantro included. I also chose the tamarind medium heat sauce. That added a nice flavor to the wrap. The worker who assisted me explained the menu very well and offered to give me samples of any of the bases and proteins options before ordering. The person at the cash register was incredibly welcoming, patiently walking us through the menu and explaining items unfamiliar to us. The karahi chicken roll was the highlight for me--a perfect blend of bold, spicy tomato flavors wrapped in a delicious roll. Every bite was packed with vibrant spices. The crispy potato samosas were another standout. Perfectly golden and flaky on the outside, they revealed a savory, well-seasoned potato filling inside. Many years and many restaurants and that many biryanis - yet not a single one has been able to satisfy the taste buds. There are only a handful of places worldwide that can actually make great biryani and Biryani Boys is one of them. I tried it for the first time yesterday and I did not approach it with a lot of hope since I have been burned too many times. To my surprise, my fork dug into a potato which made me really excited. Biryani without potato is not biryani. It is chicken playing hide and seek inside a bed of rice. The potato was fully cooked and fully connected with the rest of the dish. It wasn't just thrown on top. It was cooked with the biryani. The chicken was tender and juicy. The rice was cooked to perfection. The spices actually made sense. Nothing was over and nothing was under. Instantly I regretted not ordering several bowls. But that will change today. Biryani Boys deserve their name. My favorites were Nihari, chicken karahi and chicken malai. Sindhi Biryani was tasty also with a kick. Guava/Mango lassi was a good twist of flavor. Oh and they have Pineapple cream soda. The food here is great! The Biryani is very flavorful and the protein options are quite good. We got the Sindhi Biryani bowls with the Karahi Chicken and the Potato Kabob. The Biryani was great. It had some potatoes mixed in and was packed full of flavor (and a little bit of heat). It paired well with the Karahi chicken which was also very yummy (and a bit spicy) with a little bit of sauce that made the biryani even better! Bowls and boxes also come with Raita as a side which was not too watery and offered a pleasant break from the spice as well as your choice of sauce (get the green sauce!!). It also came with a small cucumber/tomato/onion salad that offered a nice crunch with the meal. We also got some potato samosas which were freshly fried and quite tasty. Not a lot of heat from it but the potato filling was one quite good. The Guava Mango Lassi was enjoyable though the Guava and Mango Lassi layers were not quite blended so you have to mix it yourself. Service was fast and kind. You order at the front and they bring you the food. Also the inside is a bit small with only a couple of tables but there was always somewhere to sit with people eating their meals and leaving. The staff was quick to wipe down tables in between groups so that there was always a clean place to sit. They also have an outdoor patio area if its a little busy. Overall I will be coming back here when I crave a quick biryani! Also parking was not too bad. There is a small area of the nearby parking garage dedicated to retail parking and we didn't have a problem finding a spot. read more

Tried the biryani. I love the progress of these guys and have been trying them along since they were in the cloud kitchen. But I don't know the biryani is not really authentic biryani. Maybe that's intentional, it's like the Americanized version of Biryani. But I personally was not expecting that. So I have to take a star away for that.
