The food was delicious and the serving offered was large enough to have another meal at home. The service was prompt although very busy. The ambiance was tight and crowded. We were there during the week at 6PM. Our reservation was honored quickly. Excellent food at the upper scale of average. When out on the sidewalk around the restaurant, you'd think it was a dive. Our first visit to the Island was phenomenal! I was one of those people looking for clams on 7/3 and I was shocked to actually find them . I got 200 of the cleanest clams I've ever had. We also got some soup- conch chowder was spicier than I like but good, lobster bisque literally has lobster in every spoonful, and my husband enjoyed the Manhattan clam chowder. We'll be back-- and I really wish we had known that you didn't require face diapers... we would have been regular customers a LONG time ago. Also, staff were very friendly and personable. I went here after hearing a co-worker talk about them. He said the seafood market in Allentown Farmers Market is ok, but that Todd's is better. We got a few lbs of Tilapia, a couple of lump crab cakes, some other crab cakes with more breading, some stuffed clams and the lobster Mac and cheese. It was all fresh and excellent. The lump crab is particularly tasty and at $6.95 (I think) a lot cheaper than crab cakes at a restaurant. Even the breaded ones ($4.95) are very good. All my family loves seafood, but living in Easton we weren't aware of Todd's. But we actually went back later in the day and bought more crab cakes! The people were very helpful and friendly and they know their stuff. Oh, one last thing; their prices are excellent! I compared a few items to Wegmans and they were lower on everything, by a few dollars. So it's really worth the trip, even if you're not local. read more

I've passed by this place so many times and never thought to give it a try until one day. I needed to buy snow crab legs (as I usually go to Giant or Weis in the frozen seafood section.) As a last minute resort I stopped here as it was on the way home...AND I WAS SO GLAD I DID! I got frozen snow crab legs that nowhere compared to the ones at the grocery store. They were clean and had a sweeter taste to the ones in the store. I also bought Brazilian lobster tails that were delicious! They also sell fresh seafood items like clams, shrimp salad, crab mac and cheese, glazed salmon, etc. This place is family owned which I support establishments like this 100% and the quality of the seafood is worth the price. My only regret is not giving this place a try sooner. And the girl that helped me was very nice. Truly a hidden gem in Allentown. I have been going here for years especially New Years Eve for fresh shrimp and lobster. The owner waited on me , I gave him the 3 frozen lobsters I wanted, 1.5 lbs of shrimp and 1 lb of shrimp salad. I went to the register and paid him for the purchase. Not knowing how much the lobsters weighed I thought the price was a little high. When I got home I weighed everything and worked out how much it should have been. He over charged me about $30.00. I never thought after all these years going their he would do something like this. When I looked at the receipt it was hard to figure out what was what. Shame on me for not asking and seeing the weight of the fresh seafood I purchased. If you go there, make sure you check the weight of the items you are purchasing and do the math so it doesn't happen to you. read more

Absolutely the best place to get seafood in the valley. The Farmer's Market is good as well, but Todd's is better. They even carry all the condiments and sauces you may need for your seafood, as well as steak, if you're looking to do a surf and turf. Service is always friendly and the selection is excellent. The only place to get beautiful, fresh seafood in the Lehigh Valley. Ok so I'm not sure if it is the only place, but I've only ever gotten wonderful, fresh fish from this market.
