Did a DoorDash order on Monday in mid-March since we didn't feel like cooking. They had some deals so we got a couple BOGO items and we love Indian eats. Our order included potato samosas (BOGO), the chicken 65 (BOGO), goat curry, palak paneer, and garlic naan. Samosas and the chicken 65 were both delicious; dip both in that mint sauce with the samosas to kick up the flavor. Be careful as the chicken 65 (mini fried chicken bites) have spiciness to it with a good amount of chili powder and pepper kicked in. The goat curry was alright, don't know if I would order it again as the grease was overwhelming. I wasn't a fan of the palak paneer, found it too runny and it was leaking when it was delivered to us. Also the garlic naan was a bit hard in the middle; maybe it's due to the packaging? Wouldn't mind ordering here again but we'll definitely do some different items. I just felt like the goat biriyani here was heavy on the cardamom? Some over powering spice anyway,and I couldn't really taste much else. Not bad, but not necessarily one I'd come running for again. I heard of Biriyani Factory in Gandhi District but never set foot here. I happened to be in the area after a business meeting and OMG I was in heaven. We ordered some signature dishes as my friend Cathy took care of the talking with the waiter. I was clueless when it comes with ordering Indian food. I am not into spicy hot. So, she ordered all mild dishes with spicy sauces on the side. Afterwards, as I was studying their menu, I found it's quite well organized. I'll definitely pay more attention next time when I return. I love how Chicken Tikka Kabobs was served on a hot sizzling plate and the aroma filled the restaurant. The Boneless Lamb Biriyani was so delicious. The email was so tender and rice was flavorful with the meat. Each table has sets of utensils and a bottle of water. I guess it was due to CoVid era, bottled water was time saving measures. Some things really good. Some things I didn't expect. They were having buy one get one free deals on Uber eats on three things I wanted to try so I said why not try instead of my usual place. The veggie samosas were good and standard but you could tell They were maybe fried earlier this morning. The biryani was good but could use a bit more flavor. Wow. The best biryani I've ever had. The style is Hyderabad. The rice was so light and fragrant and the chicken was spiced and cooked to perfection. I could not stop eating everything! Am surprised to see this place has avg above 4 star rating, be aware of portion sizes if you order through delivery the are complete scam and ripoff and both biryani and chicken curry tasted stale and there was just 1 small piece of chicken for entire chicken curry and it tasted like made from left over mirchi ka salan that comes complimentary with biryani. The food was delicious! The chicken 65 had the perfect spice level and so much flavor. The 2 orders of garlic naan was hands down the best I have had, it was crispy on the bottom and soft on top. We finished with Gulab Jamun for dessert and I could eat 3 or 4 orders of that stuff, seriously delicious. The man who took our order was so friendly, welcoming, and thorough when getting our order, ensuring we got what we wanted how we wanted it. There were only a few people there having dinner so we were quickly seated. The service was okay. For "tap water", they serve Sams Club bottle water so that was interesting. I ordered the chicken thaali and my friend ordered the special chicken biryani. The thaali was pretty good, given the price especially! The main dish being the biryani (obviously), though it could have a little more kick to it. The chicken curry and halwa that came as part of the thaali were really really good! I first came to Biryani Factory on a Saturday night at around 6 or 7 after seeing the amazing Yelp reviews it gets. It's really hard to find as it's on the second floor of a busy strip mall in Hillcroft. Even during one of the busiest parts of the day, the restaurant was completely empty. While that gave me some pause, I decided to try it anyway, and I'm glad I did! Anyway the important part: the food. I got the goat biryani, goat curry, palak paneer, and a couple of naan to go along with a mango lassi. The biryani wasn't anything special, but it was alright. The goat curry was great and went well with the naan. The palak paneer was superb and the real star of the meal. All of the dishes were a little stingy with the meat/paneer portions though. The mango lassi was average and probably not worth it. Other factors: Staff was really nice and attentive, although we were the only people there. There is plenty of parking, and the surrounding traffic isn't awful. Overall: A solid place for Indian food (both veg and non-veg). Not the best place in Hillcroft, but you could do far worse! read more

I've been to this place a few times and it's been a pleasure to dine in every time. It's on the second floor of a popular shopping plaza and I believe it's new. The customer service is great. You do go up to the counter to pick up your menus and order there as well. We usually get the Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, the free rice with our entrees, and a few kebabs. All items are pretty reasonably priced, too. One thing that makes this place loose a star is the minimal amount of chicken inside the entrees. I wish they'd put more! It's mostly just sauce. I ordered the goat dum briyani for takeout about a week ago. It was the absolute worst briyani I've gotten. I don't know how this place has so many reviews. Firstly, they seemed unaware of my order and only seemed to prepare it after I got there. Secondly the briyani itself was almost tasteless and there was barely any meat at all, just bones!! 5th Jan 2019 - First takeout order - Another mediocre experience in a sea of mediocrities. 2.5 stars. I really wanted to eat some delicious chicken biryani after watching 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' - no, there is no mention of biryani whatsoever in the movie. I was just craving biryani. So obviously it makes sense to order takeout from a place that has biryani in its name - nothing can go wrong, nothing should go wrong. All the dreams and hopes and the biryani music were going on in my head while I was driving back home in anticipation of the deliciousness from this marvelous takeout order of boneless chicken biryani. I should've been cautious of the word 'factory' in the name as that doesn't add credibility just like Dosa Factory was a disaster. Well - I am not hungry anymore. Apparently stomach gets full no matter what one eats. Biryani was average and lacking flavor profile associated with the dish. Normally in any biryani, rice by itself should taste fantastic - not here. And yes I'm very well aware of what authentic biryani should taste like and this wasn't it. The flavor definitely escaped into some galaxy far far away as it surely wasn't there in this order. On a plus side, people working here are friendly and the to-go order was at least hot. Ordered from their website and paid, which reroutes you to a third party company. Got an confirmation by text and by email that my order was received. When we showed up at the restaurant, we were informed, quite rudely, that they don't honor orders from this third party service. I asked why it's on their website then, and he said it was not his problem. I told them I had already paid, and he said that's also not his problem. He looked at my order receipt and said "we don't even make baby corn Manchurian", which is clearly listed on their menus. Do yourself a favor get the Butter Chicken and Butter Naan. The sauce takes over. You'll realize you're out of a chicken, and then you'll dip the Naan in there solo.
