Hyderabadi Dum Biriyani reminded me the Home town. Front desk manager is very friendly. The spicy gravy in Vijayawada Paneer and Chicken biriyanis is simply superb. Appetizers are my best friends for a weekend drink. Can't forget their complimentary Mirchi ka Salan .. this is usually a main dish in other restaurants where I have to order .... I will give 4.5 out of 5 The negative -0.5 is just for being not so environmental friendly ... They offer water bottles and lot of Paper plates and Plastic Biriyani boxes even for dine in guests. This place is rated high so I'd you done mind that it is a roach motel and the staff knows and doesn't care..you might still want to try it. For me after seeing several roaches, then peeking in the kitchen to see what was up and finding it in deplorable condition ..I was not up to the adventure. This food at this place is amazing! Small restaurant but the food is so tasty. During the weekends, they serve Goat Birayani! Yum! I love their chicken one too. Can't get enough of it! All I can say to start this review is that I'm disappointed in myself for not trying this gem sooner. The aromas coming from the kitchen waft across the entire street, and I can't drive by without my mouth watering. The food. While I can't speak to its authenticity, I can speak to the quality, flavor, execution and presentation. I'm also vegetarian, so this only covers the non-face dishes I enjoyed. I ordered both the Asli Hyderabadi Veg Dum Biryani and Vijayawada Paneer Biryani, along with some chili paneer, gobi and some delicious naan. I've tried Biryani at other restaurants, and it's almost always a disappointment. It's so often under-seasoned and over-cooked, I look for other things. But certainly not now. Both Biryani dishes were game changers, packed full of perfectly cooked rice and flavor. There are whole cardamom pods and bay leaves, both imparting flavors at a level I've never experienced before this. When you add a bit of lime and raita, it creates something resembling the perfect bite. There's also plenty of food for lunch the next day and day after. If you're looking for a meatless Monday alternative, I promise you won't miss the meat. On a slightly preachy note, this is just one benefit of having a region that places diversity and inclusion ahead of fear and walls.
