My wife and 2 year old son went to Bisbee Breakfast Club recently and was treated extraordinarily rudely by the "manager" Donna. Will the true management please address this issue with Donna? She shamed my wife for not buckling our son's seat while she parked the stroller, she snatched the creamers away from our son while he was playing with him (instead of asking his mom to do it?!) and she said she was not allowed to order something quickly for our son while she figured out what she wanted. (By the way, another server was more than happy to take the kid's order first, so clearly that's not restaurant policy, just rudeness). My wife then asked for another server and Donna immediately confronted her and asked her why. Again, imagine a very confrontational and mean woman confronting an already overwhelmed mother of a young child. She made my wife cry in front of the staff. Please take notice of this. This is unexceptionable, inhospitable, and totally unprofessional behavior that has to be addressed formally. Is this the kind of reputation you want at your restaurant? I'm guessing not. I'm sure Donna has some redeeming qualities, but they were not on display that day. Discerning management will address this swiftly. Your future business depends on this action. The food can be hit or miss as can the service. Have had the D's potato cakes, California omelet and those have been pretty good and filling! But the Reuben was dry, barely any sauerkraut or dressing. The water has a terrible taste not even disguised with lemon. Strawberry lemonade drink looks good but tastes terrible! The coffee when freshly brewed is tolerable but they have a bad habit of bringing you burnt coffee that has been sitting for some time. Taryn was a great waitress! Carmen C literally had a couple leave bc she took so long that after 20 min without having been approached they left. Had to ask at the front to call her after she was gone for another extended long period of time. First time I've ever considered not tipping someone. She was rude as well. We decided to go here this Saturday morning for breakfast. It's near to our house but our first time to this location. We were met by the friendly hostess who brought us to a table and provided with menus and set-ups in the main inside area. Well-lighted and not very noisy but with a good view of the restaruant. Our server, also very friendly and warm, soon came and took our drink orders and answered all of wifey's questions. She asked for a glass of OJ, the chicken fried steak with home fries, eggs over easy and the busquit. I asked for the Bert omelette with swiss cheese, home fries and sour dough toast. Service was epic. Our server was wonderful. You should have seen the huge glass of OJ that came out. Wow! Wife remarked that the order included two proteins, the eggs and the chicken fried steak, which she though was unusual but which she was happy to have. My omelette was also more than enough! No complaints there. But something was off. The omelette was somewhat bland, even with the chunky tomato salsa and the in-house hot sauce, and the home fries were dry. That's a kitchen thing and maybe just here as I've had better at other Bisbee locations in Tucson. Wifey expressed similar feelings about her chicken fried steak. I came here to pick up some takeout. I ordered two dishes. One was a Durango Burro with home fries ($14.69), the other a Gooey Louie burger with artichoke fritters ($15.49). I shared them both with a friend. Everything was tasty. The burger came with a small plastic cup of barbecue sauce. The burro did not come with salsa, unfortunately. The wait for the food was not long. Paying with a Tucson Originals gift card was easy once the manager came out to handle it. read more

This place has an old town diner feel. Big murals cover the walls with Tucson and Bisbee landmarks painted. Slices of pies in a case as you walk in. There is a large covered patio with tables and greenery. We were seated immediately and the waiter was pleasant. They had some alcohol, but We didn't try it. I had the California omelet with hash browns and wheat toast. The omelet was good. I had some of their local hot sauce with it . Decent flavor. Prices were reasonable. Mom ordered something with a biscuit. That thing was huge and looked yummy. If I went back, I would definitely order something with those biscuits. My only complaint was my toast was burnt. Bisbee Breakfast Club is open early and a quick drive away, making it a convenient spot for breakfast. They also have gluten-free pancake batter :). The interior typically is decorated in a fun way, and service is fast and friendly. The food is good...a step above diner, but nothing fancy. There will be something for everyone on the menu. We went to the Sunrise/Swan location several months ago for breakfast and were not pleased - eggs were cold, service spotty, and overall food quality just average. We decided to try the Wilmont Road location this morning. Same result - my wife's eggs were cold (probably from being left on the counter for the server too long without a warming device), my Bert's omelette was very greasy, and the fruit I had substituted for hash browns etc. was bland cantaloupe and honeydew melon. Though I wasn't offered a coffee refill, I see that I wasn't charged for it anyway. On the plus side, our server Vanessa G did a very good job - personable, professional, and prompt. Won't make this a future breakfast destination, however. read more

I give the restaurant a +2 instead of a -2 because the coffee was decent. The home fries were cut in large blocks so the outsides were burned and the insides half raw. I ordered a scrambled egg and spinach dish, and the eggs were half cooked and there was so much water from the spinach it seeped out all over the plate. Apparently, no one informed the "chef" that you have to press the water out of spinach when you cook it. I used to really like this place. Sadly, it seems to have gone the way of so many post-pandemic re-openings. Oh - and both my husband and I got sick to our stomachs after the meal. Won't be going back. read more

Second time was better than the first! Once again this is a great spot after a long hike. Jesse our server was very attentive and let us do a bunch of substitutions that most places would usually add a bunch of charges for. Example we substituted cheese for mushrooms since my boyfriend can't have cheese... boom no problem. We also got a chocolate chip pancake instead of toast!!... What's really nice about this place is that everyone working here seems like they truly enjoyed working here. They genuinely greeted us when we walked in, while walking through, and while seated at the bar. Jesse even had a regular that sat at the bar and he already knew what she wanted, which is really nice to see at a breakfast spot. My boss picked up breakfast for the office. I ordered a biscuit, home fries and a side of bacon. They season the hell out of the potatoes but I feel like they're undercooked. I'm not even sure how they're cooked but it could be better. The bacon was great, cooked perfectly and the biscuit was fluffy, flaky and humongous! What a disappointing experience in a day when breakfast dining is just becoming too expensive. My over medium eggs were slimy, my bacon was not crisp as I ordered it. I ordered home fries, but instead got hashbrowns that were so overly crisp, I could hardly cut them. The biscuit, while massive, was tasteless and got stuck in my throat. Bisbee on Sunrise gets it ALL right! Efficient and personable service, attentive manager, rich flavorful morning coffee, inspired menu selection, and most importantly GREAT food! The omelets are fluffy, jam-packed with delish choices, and served hot (rather than sitting under a heat lamp.) Perfectly crisped hashbrowns and down-homey home fries.
