Love love love the menu choices here! I grew up fortunate to have Italian food prepared by the women and some men in my family. Biscotti Restaurant is as close to home-cooking as I have ever had in a restaurant. The staff is accommodating and attentive. The prices are remarkably moderate for the quality and abundance on each plate. I have tried their marinara, pistachio cream sauce and light cream sauce -- fantastic. The mushroom ravioli is housemade and fantastic. The ricotta gnocchi is heavenly. The chicken and sausage entree made my husband very happy. And we salute the tiramisu chef - superb!

It was time to check this off the restaurants to try list! My husband and I have been daydreaming of another trip to Italy so though a visit to Biscotti might do the trick. We were seated immediately at a table for 2 and were brought a basket of bread and olive spread. We ordered a half a carafe of Chianti and an order of arancini. We wished it was served with a tad more sauce. I ordered the ravioli di funghi with the most delicious pistachio cream sauce. My husband had a veal entree with a side of pasta with marinara. Next time we will try the tiramisu. Located in a strip center with plenty of parking!

We hadn't been here for a couple years so we decided to see how well the place was faring. We liked it the last time and did so again this time too. Price with generous tip was $100.00. We overordered so most should expect to pay $50-$60 for lunch for two IMO. Food - Our meal consisted of four appetizers, bottled Pelligrino water and two desserts. Leftovers were sufficient for another meal at home for two. Creamy lobster bisque was hot and very "lobstery" with obvious lobster flakes (not chunks). Fried calamari with tomato sauce was hot, crunchy, and chewy. Canelli beans with mushrooms was very filling and so tasty that it was compelling to dip basket bread. Arancini (Sicilian rice balls) are a unique menu item so we ordered them (3 balls) even though we already had plenty to eat. Glad we did. These were a highlight and would definitely order again. Dessert was fancy cannoli (see photo) and a light limoncello tort. We shared the desserts to completion even though we were more than full. Excellent! Generally, menu items are recognizable Italian American fare, not experimental. Nice! BTW - we nearly forgot to take photos so most dishes were patyly eaten before we snapped a few images. Service - We were the only customers at lunch, so service was attentive and prompt. Ambiance - A custom painted wall mural, wine bottles, and classic Italian American restaurant music all contributed to the kind of ambiance expected of a cozy neighborhood Italian joint. This place is a step up from most other Italian places as it sports white tablecloths without the pretense and long waits common at high-end Italian places. So dining here it was delightful. Restrooms were accessible, well supplied and clean. There was ample and accessible parking right in front of the restaurant entrance. Enjoy!

    Agnolotti Rosa - wow!

Wow! This hidden gem blows all area Italian restaurants out of the water. In fact, it beats out Italian restaurants too- we recently returned from a trip! Amazing food, great service and super prices. Give yourself a treat and head over. You will mot be disappointed.

    Pollo Panna Cotta
    Ed G.

Fantastic food. The Anglotti was perfect and 10/10 would get again as an amazing vegetarian dish. The pollo Panna Cotta tasted great and the portion size made up for the pasta side dish. Which brings me to the pasta that comes as side for the chicken breast. It's spaghetti with tomato sauce and it's unimpressive. I would've preferred a choice of pasta side side or a different sauce. The addition of the bread that they include in takeout orders and the olive tapanade is what changed this from a 4 star to a 5 star review. TL;DR: great for vegetarians and anybody wanting Italian food. Get the vegetable side with the entree. Pollo was perfect but I would probably get the salmon next time.

FETTUCCINE MARE E TERRA RAVIOLI DI FUNGHI
    Jennifer A.

The staff were very nice and kind, but the food was not good. I ordered the RAVIOLI DI FUNGHI and it was not cooked, it was hard and raw, also very salty. It didn't taste fresh nor was it hot. My boyfriend got the FETTUCCINE MARE E TERRA it was decent but was still off and noodles were not cooked right. The portion size was very small for the amount of money we paid. Over all the food was just not good. Would not recommend coming to this restaurant.

It's a beautiful quiet place with amazing food. Everything I had here was so tasty and cooked right. Especially all the seafood. It's so easy to over cook mussels and calamari, these guys did not do that. This place is nice and clean with good customer service.

The food was scrumptious, and the service was top-notch. I loved the chocolate mousse, the paccheri pancetta, and the complimentary bread. The attention to detail was impressive. Our server checked on us throughout the meal, another staff member repeatedly refilled my friend's water, and another stopped by to brush the bread crumbs from our table. The restaurant is beautiful with a warm, romantic, old Italian vibe. The food was great and surprisingly reasonably priced for how nice the restaurant feels. I wouldn't say it's the most mind-blowing Italian food I've ever had, but it tasted like a truly delicious homemade Italian meal. The wine prices were also fair. On top of that, our server was incredibly attentive and friendly throughout the night. Overall, such a lovely dinner and definitely a place we'll be back to again. I had the…read moreGrilled Salmon and Shrimp over Spinach with Asparagus and my partner got the Chicken Marsala. Both entrees came with a cold, fresh side salad with a tangy Italian dressing. The entrees were very good. The salmon had a nice char, but was moist and flavorful. If you like salmon with a sauce, you'll be disappointed. I like mine simple, and this is a well-prepared salmon. The shrimp (3 large) were good. The spinach had a nice garlic flavor and the asparagus was well prepared - not mushy. The chicken Marsala also was good. The Marsala was light (not thick) and somewhat sweet. Very good. Honestly, the bread service was pretty disappointing. Our last visit the bread was fine, but this basket was pretty dried out and almost seemed stale. The oil accompanying the bread had almost no cheese in it. Essentially, you dipped tasteless bread into oil. Really disappointing. I'm not going to reduce my overall restaurant score for this one thing (because the entrees were very good), but the bread service was not good. The service was good.

The Wild Mushrooms with artichoke were just awesome and oh-so-plentiful, I do believe this one dish could've been a meal all in itself -- but not knowing that, I also got the Grilled Romaine because I'd never had such a thing before, and was interested in trying it. It was great! The Bowl Soup was delicious and comforting as soup is desired to be. Note on the soup: it doesn't have any pasta it in (or at least mine didn't), so if you're watching carbs or avoiding wheat, this is an excellent choice! It all came with some bread, too (that I ended up making a sandwich out of with some of the grilled romaine dish later). This was way more than one meal for me! All of it was delicious! ** Today, I fi-na-ly made it to Fontina Grille in person! It was a beautiful day to eat outside as long as there was some shade -- and so, the awning was put out just for us to lunch outdoors. There is a great selection on this menu and at lunch you can order either lunch or dinner portions. The lunch portions were certainly plentiful! The service was great, and everything was absolutely delicious! I especially enjoyed my side of zoodles. I was surprised and amazed at how well they were done -- they were so luxuriously long, it was really fun! They were also a beautiful bright green, cooked perfectly (not too hard, not too soft -- just right!), nice to twirl on a fork, and came with a really great, garlicky sauce. Mmm .... The salad greens were spectacular, the cheeses were mouth-melty, the bread at the beginning was superbly crisp on the outside and sturdy but soft enough, and chewy on the inside, the dipping olive oil with some grated cheese was excellent and helped tide me over 'til the antipasti of Wild Mushrooms came. I heard the Chilean Sea Bass in the Sea Bass Spring Salad was 'like butta,' it was so soft and easy to cut through and apparently very good. It came with salad greens, cutely-cut, skin-removed orange wedges, strawberry slices all neatly arranged around the edges, and a bit of delectably soft cheese. What can I say? Nothing was amiss! Parking was easy and couldn't be closer, with two designated accessible parking spots available right across the small street, and one not far around the corner. The ambiance outside (where we ate) was very nice. Everything was made easy. The (women's) bathroom is capacious, with a big, accessible stall and two others. The indoor dining area is very big with lots of tables. The best part of walking through the indoor area is catching a glimpse of the real fire, ready to bake! Overall, everything was totally enjoyable!
