When I went for lunch I was surprised by the food and atmosphere as I expected it to be more of a diner from the outside looking in, but as you walk inside it's completely different. If I'm going to be honest, they have amazing staff that does a great job with getting you food quickly and efficiently. They are always super friendly and courteous. This place is always clean. I still feel like I'm walking into an elderly person type of restaurant, but I do like they updated the place somewhat. On that note, I had to knock them down 3 stars over food quality. While it's always hot, this is very low grade food. I can pay the equivalent (or a bit more) elsewhere and get a chicken patty and biscuit made in house! I can get grits with cheese other than kraft overload. And eggs do not have to be out of a carton when Kroger is right next to them. I've tried a few things on their menu and I haven't been wowed. You can deliver quality without choosing the lowest quality items. Even if it means paying a bit more, I'm fine with that. Just don't charge me equivalent of a Chick fil a chicken biscuit when I have to deal with a chunk of grizzle in the patty every time. Give me a reason to shop local. Apparently this place is an East Cobb staple, but maybe not for anyone the has moved here in the past decade. The food is very cheap and poor quality, the wait was very long, and it was quite overpriced. I live right near here and always pass right by it, and I ran in here for a quick burger before going food shopping one day at Kroger. $7.50 for a very thin, overcooked sliver of beef that looked like it was run over is very overpriced. The TV's all had on a NASCAR race and old school country music, and I felt a overlooked by the staff, and they were serving others before I ever got my poor-quality burger, because maybe I didn't fit their customer base. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it to the recent UYE this past weekend but took my boyfriend for his birthday breakfast here since he's a HUGE fan of biscuits an gravy. Giving up red meat and pork for the month of August so this was my last chance to have a juicy burger before my personal challenge. The restaurant is tucked away in a shopping center off of Johnson Ferry Rd. but you can't miss the bright, red lettered sign. They have patio seating that outlooks the parking lot and plenty of dine in seating inside. You place your order at the front and then a server will call out your number when your food is ready and meet you half way. Service was excellent. The staff upfront taking our orders were efficient and super friendly. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. We tried everything from the coleslaw to the cheese grits. The hashbrowns were crispy and tasted just like McDonald's version but BETTER. The coleslaw was chopped with carrots and satisfied my needs at the time. I'm used to having cheese grits that come with the shredded cheese on top but their version was pretty much the best cheese grits I've come to have in the south. The cheese is blended into the grits and comes served (yellow) but is so smooth and tasty. Probably not one of the healthiest menu options but I don't think much is at this place. The sausage and eggs were tasty as well. They have a fountain machine, self serve coffee and sweet and unsweetened tea. Everything is served in a styrofoam plate or cup. Nothing fancy but you come here for the food not the plateware. Definitely highly recommended and worth the drive if you're not living or working in the Cobb County/Marietta area. They are closed on Mondays but open the rest of the week from 6-3pm. Be sure to check them out!! read more

WOW!! I just mopped the best biscuit with sausage gravy I have ever had in my life. The gravy was creamy and peppery with generous chunks of sausage. Put that on a delicious biscuit and it makes for one of the best breakfasts. YUM!! The cheese grits were thick and perfectly cooked but I was much too full after that yummy biscuit n gravy. Their bacon isn't always crispy. Sometimes you have to spit out the fatty parts. The biscuits are just so-so. The iced tea sure is delicious though. If you like your food simple. We happened to be in this area due to an event and had never really ventured this way before. We used Yelp as we were starving for a delicious breakfast. I guess we didn't read the reviews too carefully as it wasn't what we expected when we arrived. Essentially, you wait in line, order, and they call your number to deliver the meal. It reminded me of a cafeteria and there were a lot of people there so I was hoping for a delicious meal. I was definitely disappointed when everything we go was "pre-formed" - square shaped eggs and sausage patties - ew. I think I would have a better meal at Mcdonalds. My friends did like the biscuit which may have been the only thing that was really "made" and the grits were ok, but had a strange color (orange ish) - not sure if this was real cheese or what. Thus I'm giving it 2 stars or else I would say - this is not a place you want to eat if you want a "healthy/all natural" meal. Anyway, we don't come to this area and glad we don't in general. They have great tasting biscuits, but after my last experience there, I'm not sure I'm going back. For a long time, I'd been getting a dozen cheese biscuits "to go" and freezing them to eat for breakfast. When I was last there and placed this order -- like I have in the past -- they were completely perplexed. I explained what I wanted several times to several different people... cheese biscuits, not heated up because I was going to freeze them. When they handed me my order, which I stupidly assumed was correct and left with, the bag contained 10 frozen, uncooked, plain biscuits. In addition, I was overcharged by nearly $10. Even if I account for the cheese that wasn't on the biscuits and tax, I cannot figure out why my total was $26.87 for a large soft drink, one hot cheese biscuit to eat there, and 10 plain frozen biscuits (to go). Growing up in semi-rural Georgia, I enjoyed country style biscuits. Since moving to the Atlanta area 5 years ago, I haven't been able to find a place that has excellent homemade, country biscuits-- until today. I had the hot link and egg biscuit as well as the chicken biscuit. The hot link was exceptional. Definitely reminded me of being a kid and my hometown. I will totally be back here! Recently moved from Roswell to North East Cobb and needed a new breakfast joint to stop by on the way home from working the weekend mornings. Yelp provided me with "Biscuits and More" and it did not disappoint. Love the soda shop style atmosphere! Use to this style back in my home town in Northeast Georgia, so it's a great find this place in the bigger city/areas. Cheese grits are a must try. Told the cashier it was my first time and she gave me a sample and was great at recommendations. The Chicken biscuit was alright, but I'm eager to visit another morning and try more menu items. EXCELLENT! Didn't realize it was a bit of a distance from my location, but the food still arrived warm and so delicious. It reminded me of my childhood and for that I am grateful. The biscuits are baked just right. My partner stated the bagel was good and the grits were not her cup of tea, but knows someone else may enjoy them. OH AND THE HASH BROWNS ARE AMAZING!!!! I am not one to put in a negative review typically but after seeing all the 4-5 star reviews for Biscuits and More I went to try it and felt completely mislead. I was very excited to try the cheese grits but found them to taste over buttered instant grits. There was nothing special to the biscuit (also over buttered) or the building. The front counter is littered with everyone and anyones business card that enters the building and there doesn't seem to be a huge focus on cleanliness. The prices do not match the quality in my personal opinion. We purchased two hash browns (frozen - little flavor), large cheese grits (inedible) , two biscuits (both dry - one with sausage and one with bacon- bacon wasn't even close to fully cooked) and two coffees putting us at almost $20. There wasn't anything that I was able to have more than three bites of and the breakfast ended up in the trash. I would have rather had a Chick-fil-a biscuit or something from the grocery store and saved the rest of my money. The only reason why Biscuits and More did not get one star is because the staff. They were very friendly and I have a feeling that is the normal behavior there which is hard to find in the restaurant industry. I personally do not add a lot of salt and butter to my foods in general so I may be oversensitive but I have never had to throw away food before due to excessive butter and salt. read more

Living in the East Cobb area the past few years has developed an appreciation for Biscuits and More (BAM) and all that it brings to the community. It's that old staple restaurant that you can always count on to give you good food at a good price with a great neighborly vibe. I don't think I've ever gone in here without running into someone I know. Biscuits are obviously the staples of this restaurant, and i would say the Sausage & Egg or Country Ham & Egg are my favorites. The star of the show in my opinion here are the Cheese Grits which are as good as I've had anywhere. I can't speak on the lunch items, but I'm sure they could knock out a good patty melt on the griddle. read more

You order at the register from their limited menu, the especialtt being biscuits, pay, and then sit or wait standing for the food. The service is quick and the people taking orders and serving where busy and a bit overwhelmed but pleasant. The place looks like a cafeteria from the 80's. Not much work has been done inside but it is clean, just not super visually appealing. Most guests were comprised of really old people or families with little kids. We got two coffees, two biscuits (one egg/bacon and one bacon) a chocolate muffin, a half order off harsh browns and a chicken salad on rye. The prices are unbeatable. The muffin is huge and the taste was OK but my guess not made there. Looked like Costco bought. The hash brown was a salt bomband would recommend skipping it. Again, they were not homemade, most likely bought frozen. I tend to eat and love salty but this was a bit much. The biscuits were good. The chicken salad was definitely the best. It was tasty but a bit on the small side. Again, if you are looking to satisfy your craving some biscuits and want to save a few bucks, this is a goos place for that. read more

Unfortunately I can't say I had a great experience here. This restaurant is located in the busy Kroger shopping center off of Johnson Ferry Rd. I was very curious to try it out. I was surprised when I walked in that there was a long line to place your order. There wasn't a constant long line, but I noticed while I was dining there that it's just long at random times, and shorter at other times. But the long line at least gave me a chance to check out their menu. We order a couple of their breakfast biscuits because I was guessing they must make really good biscuits if they are going to use that as their restaurant name. Sadly I did not enjoy my Country Ham & Egg biscuit. It tasted too salty and not very flavorful. I honestly thought to myself I could get a better biscuit at McDonald's. As for the Steak & Egg biscuit that I ordered for my son, I was expecting an actual steak, but it was more like a country fried steak, and I was a little disappointed about that as well.
