American Diner Burger
James Y.

Yummy. I went with the American Diner burger with fries. I substituted the American cheese with cheddar cheese and did grilled onions. The burger was huge. So much so that I could even bite it. I had to remove the two slices of tomatoes to even bite into it. The meat was juicy and tasty. The cheese had a great melt too. The fries were crispy and good.

BYOB
Sam K.

I've gone to Biscuits a few times since I've lived in West Linn and it took me a while to figure out what worked for me. BYOB seems to be the way to go because it's the least expensive breakfast option and you have a lot of choices for what to get. I usually go with 2 buttermilk pancakes, meat, and fruit to balance things out. This has worked for me and it's pretty good tasting meal. But it took me a while to figure out what I liked because I genuinely tried so many things on the breakfast menu and kept being disappointed. I feel like I can never enjoy their eggs; they're always so runny no matter how you ask them to be cooked. And I once had a very bland breakfast burrito. But their sweets are good so I'd just stick with pancakes cause they're not that hard to mess up. The service is always great here though the waiters/waitresses are very kind and always checking in on you. They seem to work pretty hard too considering how busy this place can get-- which I'd say is the best time to go. This place is usually busy and I think that adds the to the "home" feeling. Always tip well! These people work hard.

Great food, great atmosphere and service was top notch. It was super busy but staff was on top of everything. Waitress was attentive..only downside was that there was no one at the register to pay and we had to wait for 10 minutes..other than that, everything was great

Just average. Food is okay but way overpriced. $16 for a sandwich and fries.

Big patty. Bottom bun was too soggy to pick up. Had to fork it. Not easy on a tray with paper under food My burger on a gluten free bun was problematic. Patty was large. Gf bun was not good. Obviously smaller than regular bun, very tough. Even steak knife was challenged cutting through it. Too much barbecue sauce. Super messy. Don't think it's worth the money and wouldn't get it again. Star rating is mainly for my burger. If you're gluten sensitive, maybe try an omelette

The potato chip like jojos are fire. I would recommend those. Coca Cola Products. Service- was good. Our server we really liked because she didn't hover or interrupt a lot. She took our drink order, then did her rounds, took our order and food was pretty quick- especially since it was 11:30 and it was pretty busy. About 2 in the bar like area and the table area was pretty busy. Decor- it's an interesting place. It's all decked out in Halloween which is my fave. Pretty big space. Glad we checked it out. Have lived in OC forever and it's been on my to do list. I would definitely return. Menu- the menu is pretty big and breakfast is served all day. That'll be my to do next time.

Consistently upbeat and friendly. I am frequently welcomed with a smile and a warm greeting. It's hard to beat excellent customer service... it's a lost art these days. The menu has range. There are traditional options and a few unique ones! The pastries are beyond spectacular. Their coffee cake is one of my favorite indulgences. The place is packed between 9 and 12 on weekends. Plan to get there early or plan to bring friends you want to chat with while you wait for your table during the busy period... there's a reason why this place is in high demand! It's local! We split the Vanilla Bread Pudding French Toast (baked and served with mascarpone cream, banana, and fresh caramel). It was a massive portion and a combination of two of my favorite things--it doesn't get much better than that. It was very tasty, though a little dry for my taste, so I did need a side of syrup. We also ordered sides of the Biscuit & Chorizo Gravy and the Red Breakfast Potatoes. The biscuit and gravy was the absolute show-stealer; that gravy was so flavorful! The potatoes were smaller than I expected but still delicious. I added some Secret Aardvark sauce to both, but that's just how I roll. Service was excellent; Hailey was both efficient and very pleasant!
