After purchasing a 1996 Ranger, I dropped into Bishara Auto for a smog check. Elias took the time to ask pertinent questions instead of just slapping it on the machine and collecting my money. After discussion, he was able to run the computer, see that there was a sensor issue, and asked me if I was handy enough to fix it myself. I took my Honda 4 cylinder sedan car for the oil change to Bishara Auto Services in Glendora as it was recommended by someone. Bishara owner charged me $117.88 for a regular oil change for my 4 cylinder sedan car outrageously $65 for parts which is oil and he said he changed oil filter and additional $ 45 for labor. I have been taking my car for oil change for the past 50 years. The us oil change price includes oil , extra amount for part, the Labor is included in the oil change price. So outrageous charges. I would give him one star as he unseasonably charged thinking that the person is female senior citizen. By California Consumers board, the oil change prices were not posted in his auto body shop. I wouldn't recommend to anyone to his auto shop & may feel like to report it to California agency . read more

Can not begin to say enough kind words about Bishara Auto. I have had a few dealings with them since moving to Glendora 5 years ago. Right after I moved here, I got my truck smogged, standard service done with a smile. Took my wife's car here for the same service.wonderful value, solid price. Needed a tire realignment on my F250 and asked if he did that, he said that's pretty much the only service he doesn't do, but then he recommended me to a local place that was also an honest hard working company. Then to top it off for me and settle that I will always go to Bishara... I ran out of fuel on the 57 freeway and knew that with my Diesel Truck it is often hard to start up again after running out of fuel. I managed to get AAA to come out and give me some fuel, but then the engine was idling very rough and I still wasn't able to move the truck. I called Bishara even though it was about 30 seconds before they closed and Elias walked me through how to prime the truck so that I could move it. His knowledge of my truck without even seeing it, his willingness to help me in a cruddy situation, and his patience as I took his direction and worked through the issue was second to none, he will always get my business and I can't begin to thank him enough. TOTAL RIP OFF!!! This guy is total scum. I had a check engine light on and he told me he would take care of it. Told me he knew what the problem was and everything. Well after I end up spending $2-300, about 40 miles later, the check engine light goes back on. When I go back to him he tells me he knows what it is and will take care of it.
