Our family of 6 dined to celebrate my son in law's birthday on a Wednesday evening. My daughter and son in law ordered the crab soup and it wasn't brought out in time to eat before the main meal arrived, so they canceled it. I got the special of the night, Mahi with a white sauce and mashed potatoes. The portion size on the mashed potatoes was huge and they were delicious. I regret to say that my daughter and I were both disappointed in our meals. My fish, and her chicken were overcooked which made them both "chewy" and not "melt in your mouth" as is generally the case at this establishment. My meal also came out quite cool not hot, like it had been sitting out for awhile before it got to the table. It was not overly busy as it was a week night. Might there be a new cook in the kitchen? This is the first time I have eaten here that the food was not 5 star. Everyone else in the party enjoyed their food. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and plan to return again as it is generally a wonderful dining experience. The servers were all attentive and helpful. read more

Had been here before when it was another Italian restaurant and frankly it was better. It wasn't the food but the price. The service and food was good but pricey. I ordered my usual Bourbon and when I received the bill was totally taken back. Price was RIDICULOUS. For me not worth the price. 5 stars! Amazing experience! I came here with a group of 8 for our office Christmas Party and we had such a great time with delicious food and attentive service. My husband and I went to Italy a couple of years ago and this restaurant is the most authentic Italian restaurant we have been to in the states. I cannot wait to bring my husband here! The service was excellent, we were treated like royalty and had two amazing servers who left us wanting for nothing. The atmosphere was romantic and relaxing. Everything was sparkling clean. The best part - the food. Flavors were fresh and delightful. Everything I tried was an instant favorite! Portions may seem less than generous, but my pasta was so rich and filling that I had more than enough. After reading the reviews for this restaurant, I added it to my Saved list. I noticed a constant influx of customers and knew that I needed to arrive early or have a reservation. I arrived just before 5 pm on a Friday and was seated immediately. The crowd was yet to come. It was a beautifully, warm day so I sat on the patio. I ordered the Vanilla Madras made with Stoli Vanilla Vodka, Cranberry Juice, Club Soda, with an Orange Wedge. It was flavorful and pretty! My server recommended the special, Gnocchi with Pan-seared Shrimp. It was better than I anticipated. I can't recall what was in the sauce but you won't go wrong with this dish. I expected to enjoy the bread pudding for dessert but realized not only didn't I need it but I had no room to eat it. If you plan to visit, be sure to make a reservation, or arrive early and perhaps be prepared to wait. The restaurant was full when I left with a small number of tables available on the patio. The veal Parmesan was pretty good. Chicken parm was good but the chicken was small. They also supplied bread with oil and vinegar but the oil tasted old. I wish they had garlic knots but the food was really not bad overall and the inside is very nice read more

We've been here for 5 1/2 years all different restaurants and let me tell you we stopped at bistro D'Antonio. The best decision we have ever made. Food was beyond fantastic. The service was impeccable and the ambience was perfect. Definitely will be going back quite often if y'all haven't tried this restaurant, you need to stop in and try their food you can't go wrong, I had the blackened cajun salmon with avocado salsa and mushroom risotto, omg it was delicious, oh and the portions are quite large, y'all must try this place you'll get hooked. read more

The food is amazing! The staff is friendly! I took my 2 little sons on a mommy date. We had the arancini appetizer, chicken franchise, and chicken parm. After appetizers, we all received lemon sorbet to clean our pallets. I had a cappuccino which was the best cappuccino I've had in a long time. We also shared the creme brulee and tiramisu. We gave the Bistro another try last night and this time we had a truly wonderful experience! We noticed right away that the menu was different than last time we were here, and sure enough, Marcelino confirmed that they changed it and expect to make a few more tweaks to it in the near future. That is great, see what works, and what doesn't and move forward accordingly! Speaking of Marcelino, he took excellent care of us - he is a true professional! We were impressed with his service on our first visit, and even more so on our second visit. Definitely 5 star service! Ok, so on to the rest. Since this was not a special occasion, we weren't going for a high end wine. We ordered an Italian red - Anterra Merlot. For $25, this was a good dinner wine...very drinkable & it paired nicely with our food. We decided to give the Calamari ($10) another try and I am so glad we did. This time it was much more flavorful. We noticed that it looked like there was more spices in the light breading and they had also breaded and fried a couple of peppers with the calamari... we didn't remember seeing that the first time. Again, I like the fact that they serve their Calamari with both a marinara sauce for me and an aioli sauce for my hubby. We were very pleased with this appetizer. Tonight we decided to try the stuffed mushrooms ($10) as well. Wow, they were good! Stuffed with spinach & cheese and topped with melted mozzarella... yum! I was not a big fan of the mayo-based aioli style spread underneath the mushrooms, but that was easy enough to avoid. I would probably order these again. We both ordered the Ceaser salad ($8 each). Honestly, with the 2 appetizers, we should have ordered one salad and split it, because by now, I am already starting to feel full, oops! Or, it would be nice if they would offer the option of 1/2 salad... that way, hubby could get the full size Ceaser salad & I could do a half salad. So about the salad... the lettuce was fresh, croutons big & crunchy, and there was a nice amount of shaved parmesan. Our only disappointment in the salad is that it was really lightly dressed...as in you could barely taste any dressing. I am not a fan of the places that douse your salad in tons of dressing, but this was too light. I suppose we could have asked for a bit more dressing, but honestly, we didn't think of it at the time. Maybe next time I will order dressing on the side, that way I can put as much as I'd like without it being too much. For my entrée, I was torn between the Cannelloni Florentina ($17) and the Eggplant Parm. I knew I wanted something with a red sauce, and either a chicken or vegetarian dish. (I typically love seafood, but was not in the mood for pesce...and I don't eat beef or pork, so none of those offerings appeal to me.) I ended up going with the Cannelloni Florentina, crepes stuffed with ricotta, spinach, mozzarella, and topped with red sauce. It was very flavorful and filling. With the 2 appetizers and salad, I definitely had enough leftover for lunch the next day. My hubby chose linguini with clams & white sauce ($18) for his entrée. I took a bite and it was pretty good. The portion size was good for him and they did not skimp on the clams. So, this time we did not save room for dessert since we started with 2 appetizers. Based on this experience, we will definitely be going back. Looking forward to seeing what else they do with tweaking the future menus! Speaking of tweaking the menu, personally, I'd like to see more options for people who don't eat pork/red meat... for example, both the bruschetta and aranchini appetizers have some sort of pork product incorporated in it, so its not something I would order. In the pasta/entrée sections it would also be nice to see some other options such as ravioli or tortellini offerings with a choice of cream sauce or red sauce and the ability to add a meat or seafood of choice (like chicken or shrimp). read more

We went here a few months ago and I've been thinking about that amazing meal ever since. Went back last night and will once again be thinking about it every day until I return! Had dinner on a Sunday PM We were seated quickly. The atmosphere is comfortable, staff friendly. We were asked if we wanted bread for the table. Bread was good so was the quality olive oil. Menu pricey with plenty of variety of Italian dishes. I ordered the lobster bisque and a wedge salad. My dining mate ordered the spagetti and meatballs. Our friend ordered the chicken marsala. We all agreed food was tasty and sampled from each other. The meatballs, beef and ricotta cheese were soft and not overly salted. The pasta sauce was not sweet, a nice change from other sauces we had elsewhere. My lobster bisque was delicious. My wedge salad average. The chicken marsala delicious in favor, the chicken just a bit dry for my taste. Portions were adequate, plating nice, all food came out hot. After dinner a waiter brought out a platter of great looking desserts and asked if would like any. We had a nice dining experience and certainly would return. read more

It is a nice restaurant in my neighborhood. I like the ambiance and staffs. We ordered calamari and mussles for appetizers. Calamari was crunch and mussles were great. White sauce in mussles was well balanced. The appetizers portion is not much, just a right amount for appetizers. For mains dishes, we ordered associated seafood pasta(you can choose pasta you like) as daily special, chicken parmesan(comes with pasta), shrimp scampi and veal francese. The best was daily special seafood pasta. We asked to make it a bit spicy and it was really good. A great amount of seafood in the pasta and also the seafood was very fresh. The chicken parmesan was pretty good too. Sauce was tasty and breaded chicken was well cooked. But veal francese was a bit chewy. Even though it was thin, certain part was not tender at all. The francese sauce was kinda plain to me but gnocchi was good. Shrimp scampi was just okay. Sauce could have more taste, was not impressive. For desserts, ordered tiramisu and tres leches cake. Tiramisu cream was a bit plain to me but friend in my group enjoyed it as it is not too sweet. I liked the tres leches a lot. It was moist enough and not too sweet. Overall the food was good and service was great! But the price is not that cheap for fish or meat main dishes. Price of pasta is okay. It is a good local restaurant and maybe will try their prefixed menu next time. read more

This is an excellent restaurant. Came here with my family from out of town and the food to the service was all perfect. We all got something different and it was made fresh and great tasting. We ordered takeout tonight. We've never eaten at this restaurant before but we wanted something different. We ordered through DoorDash and had no issues with delivery. We ordered the family lasagna which stated it would feed 4-6 people. It came with a single portion of a caesar salad and a tiny piece of bread cut into 6 slices. I initially thought they didnt bring all our food but I'm not sure. The food was definitely lackluster. The lasagna was bland. There was no way to split the single portion salad, so I ended up roasting asparagus which defeated the purpose of ordering out. If you're advertising a family meal feeding 4-6, the portions should be appropriate. I'm not sure if the experience is better when dining in. read more

I enjoy this restaurant very much, however, the music when they have their live performer is just way to LOUD. It is not possible to carry on a conversation at all. The staff is super friendly and I would definitely eat here more regularly if the noise level was turned down a notch. read more

Adequate food & overpriced, the pasta is very bland with very little flavor. Not sure if they make their pasta on site... It seemed fresh enough, but just needed more flavor. I'll say that at least it wasn't mushy! We went on a Saturday around 6 PM and were lucky to get a table because apparently every table in the joint is reserved in advance, so call ahead! Compared to our favorite, oggi, just a few extra minutes away... The pricing is about the same but nowhere near the same quality of food. We have a runner in the family and it's fine for a carb - load meal... But it was expensive. For four of us with desserts and only one glass of wine it was almost $160 for plain pasta dishes (nothing extra special or extravagant, only one meal w/added shrimp and one w/chicken, 2 others plain fettuccini dishes). read more
