Lunch : excellent service by Claryssa. Their burger special was a "Chipotle burger" with fries or salad $13.50. It was very good. Their salad also was nice. Very nice selection of numerous beers on tap $5. It's a comfortable relatively small restaurant. When going through Mt Shasta again we'll be back. read more

The service was okay, there was only one server and tons of tables. Our food sat in the window for several mins before she even said she was about to get it. She wasn't the friendliest either! The food was over priced, over cooked and not fresh. When I say not fresh I mean everything is pre frozen and thawed to cook! GAG! The alcohol beverages were limited and water was served in awful plastic cups and supply cups for kids (gross)! I walked into the Indian restaurant that was rated #1 on TripAdvisor just up the street, and walked out when I saw their price range. I'm not paying $32 for one dish of curry. Came to bistro and was so happy with my choice. Excellent rueben pastrami sandwich with the absolute best onion rings and the juiciest Cajun burger with perfect fries. The strawberry basil kombucha hit the spot too. This should be rated #1 instead. The outdoor seating and overall atmosphere made the experience 5 star, and best of all, appropriately priced. read more

Everything is amazing. It does get busy and it's pretty small, even with all of the outdoor seating so sometimes there's a wait for food or a table. This place is well worth the wait. We usually order a cheese burger cooked rare with sweet potato fries. The burger is always cooked perfectly. It's difficult to get a rare burger that isn't overcooked. And if you don't like a really rare burger then be sure to order medium rare or medium well. The sweet potato fries are crazy addictive and almost impossible to stop eating even once we're full. The salmon is always great and cooked perfectly. The calamari is wonderful and so are the onion rings. My husband and I consider this our first stop local go-to place when we want to go out or when we don't know what we want. read more

Visited Mt Shasta for the first time. Found this gem and it was top notch. We had the jalapeno burger which was on the Chefs Special Menu for the day, its one of the best burgers we've had. Also had the Provencal with grilled chicken, this was also delicious. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Oh wow! Their food is really super yummy!!!! We started with the fire-dusted calamari and it was breaded perfectly. The onion rings were also really good! I got the jalapeno swiss burger with the chipotle mayo on the side (per a friend's suggestion). It included a wagyu beef patty, bacon, jalapenos, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and a pickle. My husband and I are so happy that this sweet and friendly restaurant is back open after a several-months COVID closure. They serve delicious and healthy-tasting food -- we especially love the portabella burger, salmon sandwich, and sweet potato fries. I had a great meal here. I'm from New England and ordered the clam chowder. As good or better than many places back home. The fish and chips were also excellent. A winter storm had closed most of the places in Mt Shasta so it seemed like half the town was eating here. On a nice day the outside deck is da bomb. The burger is one of the tastiest in town. French Fries were a little lacking in crispness, but passable. Nice beer selection. Something for everyone. We were lucky to find this bistro. They had good outdoor dining space for the COVID time. The service was a little slow but the food was pretty good - beyond our expectation. Minestrone - the soup of the day when we visited them, was very good, one of the best minestrone I have had. We also ordered grilled wild salmon salad. The salmon was grilled just right and salad was delicious. The Italian bread that came with the salad was also very good. We will return to Bistro No. 107 next time we visit the area. read more

incredible. my dad and i stopped here for lunch on the way to nevada city, california. i chose it because it was on the way and had vegan options for me. first impressions: i had a good feeling. it's adorable and in such a cute/small mountain town, shasta city. i loved the decorations and it was just very cute and homey. our waiter, Donny was super accommodating and kind. but let's get to the food: you could see into the kitchen so you knew it was cooked fresh. the cook was amazing. i ordered a classic veggie patty burger , no cheese , add mushroom and had a side salad with balsamic vinaigrette. my dad ordered the cajun burger with fries. my dad is a hard one to impress. he doesn't go out much and when he does, he usually regrets it and wishes he would've just eaten something from home. this place seriously impressed him. he said "this is the first place that has actually impressed me in years". he loved his food so much and so did i. it was huge, filling, delicious, and fresh. the salad tasted so good and the vinaigrette was so good i ended up putting it on my burger after i finished my salad. the veggie patty was made with lentils and carrot as i could see--and it was so tasty. they didn't skimp on the mushrooms that i had asked for, either. they gave me tons and they were VERY tasty!! such a cute and amazing little restaurant. i would eat here again and again if i could. absolutely amazing. read more

Stopped by on a visit through town. Really impressed overall. Beer selection was awesome, really good specials (I had the Mediterranean burger, which was really tasty) and kids menu portions were generous. The burger was a touch over cooked in my opinion and their marscapone cream cake was too sweet, but I would definitely go there again in a heartbeat. We were happy this fun establishment was open tonight, on New Year's Eve. We did arrive early since we knew many places would close early. It's a small yet inviting place. We were greeted and seated quickly. Very friendly atmosphere. The service was quick and courteous, considering they were totally full and there was much going on. My husband and I went to Bistro No. 107 for lunch on a Saturday. The service was professional and we were seated quickly. Our waiter came back to check on us at very well-timed intervals (not too often as to be a nuisance, and not too infrequently as to be ignoring us). Water glasses were kept filled, food was served in a timely fashion and hot, and the check was brought at the proper moment. Specials were recited in a way that we could follow, but was not laborious. The atmosphere is high class casual with black cloth napkins and casual, simple plating. We sat outside on the deck to enjoy the view. The food was very well-prepared and very tasty. My husband ordered one of the specials - hot pastrami au jus and the au jus was clearly homemade and very much enhanced the sandwich. The sandwich itself was solid with grilled bread and beautifully grilled onions and melted cheese. The fries were perfect - crispy and not too greasy. I ordered the soft shell crab BLT and it was tempura battered so it was lightly crispy without being oily. The sandwich is a little unwieldy to eat, but the crab fit the bun and the lettuce was positioned to allow a naturally flap to catch any juices that ran out from the tomato. The side salad was nicely mixed in content and my request to have dressing on the side accommodated. The food here is clearly fresh and carefully prepared from good quality ingredients. My husband and I definitely plan to return to try other dishes. I hope they can maintain their quality as they grow in popularity (which they are certain to do if the chef stays the same and keeps up the expert preparation). read more

The place is pretty bad, it was a busy day, it took more than an hour to prepare salad, soup, and fish and chips. A table next to us has to leave without food. On top of that they have only one restroom so you have to wait there too. Food is about as mediocre as it can be. Definitely not coming back. read more

We have been coming to Mount Shasta for ten years, and have seen many places come and go. This is in the space of the Goat Tavern, which was great when we first visited (2007), but fell apart in terms of food and service in later years. It was a pleasant surprise to come back and find Bistro 107, with many great food choices and a friendly staff. Our first night we started with the coconut shrimp with a delish cole slaw and a spicy sweet dip that was addicting. I tried one of the many draft beers, water was brought to our table immediately along with menus. Wife had the special, a halibut burger with salad as her side, I had the French dip with au jus. Both were outstanding, my roast beef tender with a tasty dip. The halibut patty was flavorful with the salad a perfect side. Next night we decided to return, having the calamari with spicy batter and tartar sauce as an appetizer, she had the classic burger, I had the Reuben panini, both with the garlic fries option added. Everything came quickly, with minimal wait time, appetizer first, then the entrees. The portions were generous, we ended up taking out leftovers for a midnight snack later. Another fabulous night, and a relief as finding a go to place here in Shasta a place to eat after a day of hiking is a godsend. The second night told us that there was a consistency in service and food quality, and that there were many good options to choose from from the menus and specials. We are looking forward to our next visit to Mount Shasta and wish this restaurant success! read more

In town for the night and went here for dinner; tomato bisque tasted like tomato paste, crab bacon sandwich didn't have much flavor, sister had California burger, avocado was hard and meat was well done, no one asked how she wanted it cooked. The railing by tables outside was dirty (tables are right next to it) all sorts of insects; ants, flying ones. Tree is full of ants, won't be back-we mentioned above to waiter who said sorry but offered no compensation. read more

A group of us ate at Bistro 107 recently and the two vegetarians both had the Provencal Burger with the bistro's homemade wheatberry-based vegetarian patty. The next day both were suffering diarrhea. This would normally have been a minor inconvenience but since we were in town to climb Mnt Shasta it was a lot worse: it was accutely unpleasant and also put the kibosh on the summit attempt. The bistro is otherwise very pleasant and we had good service (thus the two stars) but I think this is fairly damning evidence that their kitchen isn't always hygienic. read more
