    Satay Chicken

This was a catering service, so no reviews on ambiance or service. The food came late though. We ordered Green Curry Chicken, Red Curry Beef, Yellow Curry Veggie, Veggie Pad Thai (no egg), Chicken Satay, and Veggie Spring Rolls. Chicken Satay is a win! I've never had take out satay skewers that were cooked to such perfection that the chicken was soft and tender, not dry at all! Best texture ever! Green Curry and Red Curry tasted good also, and they were mildly spicy that I could handle. A thumbs up on that. The Pad Thai was in soy sauce and not so much in tomato sauce, so the look was deceiving that we when ate it it was not savory but also a bit of the sweet and sour. I didn't mind it but the kids thought it was weird. The Veggie Spring Rolls are good too, the kids ate them even when they were cold and not crispy anymore. Overall the food is a win.

Good restaurant for casual dining with friends and family. I went here with my colleagues midweek for lunch. We liked the food. It is quite cheap and affordable. The lunch specials here are very economical. Priced at 15 dollars. You can get any curry like Panang, Green, Yellow, etc. It comes with rice. The curries take a little bit more time to come compared to the noodles. You can get the food within 15-20 minutes. As of now the restaurant is only open on weekdays from 11 am to 3 pm and 5 pm to 9 pm. They mostly cater to the working professionals during lunch time. They might open on weekends in future.

In search of new Thai restaurants to try out, I tried out Bistro Siam and ordered their pad kratiem. Food was overall good and a perfect portion for lunch for 1. The portions would likely not be enough to share with another person. Interior was basic, no particular decorations or specialties. There is parking in front and behind, though you may have trouble finding a parking spot during peak hours. Service was average, though they will charge a hefty CC fee at checkout. Bring cash if you want to avoid the fee!!

Ordered Bistro Siam through doordash. Ordered pad see ew medium spicy with shrimp and green curry with chicken. Pretty pricy for just two dishes, and downside is it doesn't even come with rice. You have to order rice for extra. The portions were big, but the pad see ew was very very oily, too much salt, and not enough protein. I had to wipe off some of the oil because it was too much for my liking :/ The green curry had a lot of good veggies and protein but it was also too salty for me and the curry was more runny than thick. Not sure if I'd order again or maybe it's better to dine in.

We were in the area on a Sat @ 1230 and they were closed! On the weekends, their hrs are 5-9 pm. We were very disappointed. Anyway, we were in the neighborhood again during the week. We ordered mostly appetizers since it was late. The samosas, angel wing, roti and the seafood tom yum soup online. We picked up our order and it was ready on time. Everything was so delicious, the samosas and wing were fried perfectly. The roti was soft with a slight coarse texture. The soup was really fragrant and delicious. We'll definitely come back to try the rest of the menu!

Door dashed food from Bistro Siam yesterday. Chicken pad Thai: 2 stars. Plenty of noodle. But that's fine cuz I like noodles. However the flavor of the noodle was overly sweet, not good for a savory dish. Crab fried rice: 3 stars. Decent but not memorable Papaya salad:3 stars, good flavors, need a little more acidity for salad vs sweeter flavor of the sauce. Too much sauce very soupy. Yellow curry: 2 stars. Didn't care for it too much. Not much curry flavor and a bit bland.

I was born in Bangkok ( Keung tep), Thailand (Siam) My family is from Chamgmai area. I tried this place for dinner. The food I ordered was mediocre. Same Panda Express for Chinese. Ordered Yum Neau. The Yum Neau had a hot sauce almost like Thai. Missed the ginger, lemon/lime..... This hot sauce was the best authenitic anything Thai I have eaten in 30 years. The blatant insulting part about the meal was this hot saice. The hot sauce is Chinese..... Insulting in many ways. Most insulting part is Thai don't everd serve this hot sauce in any restaurant. This review went from a four star to a two.

*SIP Review* DoorDashed since I was really craving Thai food and ordered my fav dish: pad kee Mao and decided to get tofu for the protein. Food came hot and portion was decent, but I thought the flavor was just meh. Even though I got Hot spiciness level, it seemed like mild. The tofu seemed to be the only thing that absorbed some flavor. Overall, I was a little disappointed and don't think this is the spot to go if you're looking for authentic flavors. Maybe it was an off night, or flavors are muted in general, or times are tough due to the pandemic, so hopefully they're able to improve on their flavor.

Wanted to try Chicken Meets Rice but their line was ridiculous so my colleague and I stepped in here instead. I don't know if he ordered from the lunch menu but I did and I certainly enjoyed my chicken yellow curry. Quiet atmosphere. I felt my laughter disrupted the ambiance of this place. It was my first time stepping out to lunch in over 3 weeks. The chicken was tender and the curry is not heavy at all. I am not a curry expert. Authentic or not. It was pretty delicious!

The restaurant itself looked so new as if they had finished construction. While we didn't go for happy hour, they had a massive bar inside. We ordered the pad see ew with tofu, and sesame chicken with white rice. It was a good lunch portion and was very tasty. My son works in the area so he has been here before and recommended it. Staff/servers were very nice and accommodating. We closed out our bill and we continued with our lunch date talking and catching up. They let us sit there outside uninterrupted until we were done (and we are SO SO SOOOOO sorry, we were there until 3PM). We had NO IDEA they close at 2PM until dinner time! We were very apologetic on the way out the door but they were saying it was fine. SIGH... No its not fine, I would have expected them tell us they are closing soon and maybe have us take our food order to go. Or closed out our bill and say they need to close to get ready for dinner... My son and I had a great dining experience. Thank you for everything and we have now NOTED your business hours. :D

Jasmine Fine Thai - Santa Clara, CA…read more Jasmine Fine Thai holds a special place in our hearts because this is actually where I had Thai food for the very first time! It was during the heart of COVID, when the dining room was closed. Sean was living right across the street at the time, so we would walk over, pick up our food, and bring it back home to eat. Sean introduced me to their yellow chicken curry and chicken satay with peanut sauce, and that became our go-to order every single time. And every single time, it was absolutely amazing! Eventually Sean moved and we couldn't get our Jasmine Fine Thai fix anymore, so we were pretty sad about it. Then, about a year later, we happened to be in San Jose for a Sharks game and decided to stop in for old times' sake with our sister. Of course, we ordered our usual favorites, and she got some kind of exotic something, because she always has to try something different! She loved hers, and we obviously LOVED ours. It brought back all those delicious memories from those COVID days. Now, whenever we're in the Santa Clara/San Jose area, Jasmine Fine Thai is a must-stop for us. We make a point of going every time we're nearby. Amazing food, great memories, and definitely one of those places that will always be special to us.

You get 4 shrimps with the amount of food you were paying for. The vegetables did not feel like it was a lot. That does not make make sense if you're paying $17 for the dish. The chicken satay tasted alittle off to me. it looked and smelt fine, but when I bit into it, it tasted sour. I am not sure if it was an off day for today. I had to throw it out. I don't know if I would order this place again. I was looking forward to having it since there was a lot of reviews.

We went without a reservation on the weekend and luckily got seated (table for 5) in about 15 mins after joining the waitlist. The ambiance has a nice, fancy Italian-place vibe, even though its actually a Thai spot. Definitely great for special occasions and celebrations, also good for casual dinners. Our server was very attentive and recommended some good options. They also have a clearly distinguished vegetarian menu, which was great for vegetarians like us. Ordered: 1) Thai Egg Rolls: 4/5 - The typical taste, done well. 2) Basil Vegetable Fried Rice w/ Tofu: 5/5 - I requested it mild since I was sharing with my 5 year old. Very flavorful - not just spice forward like some Thai places. It was genuinely flavorful and unique on taste even on mild, and I didn't have to add any extra spice. Coming back again to try more!
