I've come here twice so far and have enjoyed the food. They currently have lunch specials that start at $15. I wish the pad see ew was part of the lunch specials, that's my favorite. The menu prices are advertised as cash prices. It would have been nice if they mentioned somewhere how much is the credit card fee (I didn't see it anywhere). Doing the math on my bill, it looks like it was a 4% fee for using CC. The worker was nice and friendly. This was a DoorDash order so can't say much about the ambiance. But food was packaged neatly and delivered piping hot I got the pad Thai with sliced chicken, pad see ew with pork, and pad kee mao with squid. The pad Thai was good, not too tomato-y like other places. There wasn't any veggies in this dish so it is dense and it'll feel heavy to eat. The pad see ew was the best. Nicely sautéed with the meat and the sauce was just enough and tasted good. The pad kee mao was also pretty good with lots of veggies. It was possible to finish the whole order. This was a catering service, so no reviews on ambiance or service. The food came late though. We ordered Green Curry Chicken, Red Curry Beef, Yellow Curry Veggie, Veggie Pad Thai (no egg), Chicken Satay, and Veggie Spring Rolls. Chicken Satay is a win! I've never had take out satay skewers that were cooked to such perfection that the chicken was soft and tender, not dry at all! Best texture ever! Green Curry and Red Curry tasted good also, and they were mildly spicy that I could handle. A thumbs up on that. The Pad Thai was in soy sauce and not so much in tomato sauce, so the look was deceiving that we when ate it it was not savory but also a bit of the sweet and sour. Nice little spot for Thai cuisine! I've driven by here so many times and never stopped in. One day I was looking for something new and popped over. TBH if I'd judged it based on how it looked inside I probably would've passed but don't let the looks fool you. The aromas coming from the kitchen were enticing so we kept to the plan. I've now eaten here 4x since I started a few months ago. We usually get 4-5 dishes each time. Never been disappointed! I had to wipe off some of the oil because it was too much for my liking :/ The green curry had a lot of good veggies and protein but it was also too salty for me and the curry was more runny than thick. We were in the area on a Sat @ 1230 and they were closed! On the weekends, their hrs are 5-9 pm. We were very disappointed. Anyway, we were in the neighborhood again during the week. We ordered mostly appetizers since it was late. The samosas, angel wing, roti and the seafood tom yum soup online. We picked up our order and it was ready on time. I think they probably get busy during lunchtime with the crowd from the different companies around. So service was a little slow, as there was only server on duty. I gotta say, the salad was decent, with the right amount of vinaigrette and the shrimp were perfectly done. I wish it was slightly more spicy, but it was good. The noodle soup came in a huge bowl, very generous portion, enough go for 2 people. Flavors were good, they hit the spot on a rainy evening...noodle soup is my comfort food. The upside of eating at an empty restaurant is that you can have a good conversation and the noise level is not bad. So I debated between 3 or 4 stars, but opted for 3 since this was my first time here and it did not leave a high enough impression to warrant a 4. So, if I could, I'd give a 3 1/2 Star. I went to Bistro Siam during lunch on a weekday. Despite the lunch time rush, Bistro Siam had plenty of available seating. The food was tasty and arrived quickly. Between the times we placed the order on our entrees and received the items was only a little over a 5 min. wait. We started with the Thai Samosas and Chicken Satay appetizers. The chicken satay had great flavor, but I did think that they came out cold. I loved the thick, chunky peanut sauce that was the dipping sauce used for both dishes. The potato filling inside the Thai samosas was identical to the filling inside Indian-style samosas. I wouldn't have known the difference other than the peanut sauce and different style of fried wonton wrap used on the Thai samosas. I ordered the Massaman curry with tofu as my main entree and a side of pineapple chicken fried rice to be shared. The pineapple chicken fried rice was nice since the pineapple flavor was prominent. The rice wasn't presented in a sliced pineapple though, which made me think that the pineapples used in the fried rice were probably out of a can. The Massaman curry was rich and creamy just as I wanted it to be. I did try a bit of the red curry with chicken and tofu. Not bad; it just didn't suit my taste buds. I don't mind a little ginger, but I thought it was very heavy on it. Food was great, but the customer service was questionable. The waiters were rushing around all the time and weren't aware of their surroundings. I have been to this Thai place with my colleague at lunch for dine-in. I chosen this as I found good reviews on Yelp. The ambience is ok, nothing to boast or nothing to scare you off. It seems a bit busy for Wednesday, may be a lot of people are working (post-covid). I did not want to take too much risk and ordered my tried and tested Thai food (pad Thai veg, no egg, no tofu). And my colleague, being from out-of-country just followed me (but with beef and with egg). The food came in perfect time, no way to blame the server. All 2 stars for the right-in-time food and the courteous server. Now to the food, I could smell a bit when the food was brought by the server. When I started eating it started smelling even more. I don't have any bias, against any food of any country, as long as the food does not smell. It smelled like some specific Korean food (with distinct pungent odor), which is very hard for me to handle. I checked with the the server on the smell. The server was very polite and apologized for my ordeal. Anyway, I don't want everybody to be completely biased based on my review, if you enjoy the specific Korean smelling food, you may even enjoy it. Also, my review is related to Pad Thai only. Their chicken pad see-ew is my favorite and when I want to be a little extra I'll get their chicken yellow curry and Thai tea.
