    Yellow Curry
    Anirud P.

Good restaurant for casual dining with friends and family. I went here with my colleagues midweek for lunch. We liked the food. It is quite cheap and affordable. The lunch specials here are very economical. Priced at 15 dollars. You can get any curry like Panang, Green, Yellow, etc. It comes with rice. The curries take a little bit more time to come compared to the noodles. You can get the food within 15-20 minutes. As of now the restaurant is only open on weekdays from 11 am to 3 pm and 5 pm to 9 pm. They mostly cater to the working professionals during lunch time. They might open on weekends in future.

In search of new Thai restaurants to try out, I tried out Bistro Siam and ordered their pad kratiem. Food was overall good and a perfect portion for lunch for 1. The portions would likely not be enough to share with another person. Interior was basic, no particular decorations or specialties. There is parking in front and behind, though you may have trouble finding a parking spot during peak hours. Service was average, though they will charge a hefty CC fee at checkout. Bring cash if you want to avoid the fee!!

Ordered Bistro Siam through doordash. Ordered pad see ew medium spicy with shrimp and green curry with chicken. Pretty pricy for just two dishes, and downside is it doesn't even come with rice. You have to order rice for extra. The portions were big, but the pad see ew was very very oily, too much salt, and not enough protein. I had to wipe off some of the oil because it was too much for my liking :/ The green curry had a lot of good veggies and protein but it was also too salty for me and the curry was more runny than thick. Not sure if I'd order again or maybe it's better to dine in.

We were in the area on a Sat @ 1230 and they were closed! On the weekends, their hrs are 5-9 pm. We were very disappointed. Anyway, we were in the neighborhood again during the week. We ordered mostly appetizers since it was late. The samosas, angel wing, roti and the seafood tom yum soup online. We picked up our order and it was ready on time. Everything was so delicious, the samosas and wing were fried perfectly. The roti was soft with a slight coarse texture. The soup was really fragrant and delicious. We'll definitely come back to try the rest of the menu!

Tried the Tom yum soup here. And I love it ! I have tried a lot of menu items here, Will recommend the panang curry and basil fried rice here !

Door dashed food from Bistro Siam yesterday. Chicken pad Thai: 2 stars. Plenty of noodle. But that's fine cuz I like noodles. However the flavor of the noodle was overly sweet, not good for a savory dish. Crab fried rice: 3 stars. Decent but not memorable Papaya salad:3 stars, good flavors, need a little more acidity for salad vs sweeter flavor of the sauce. Too much sauce very soupy. Yellow curry: 2 stars. Didn't care for it too much. Not much curry flavor and a bit bland.

I was born in Bangkok ( Keung tep), Thailand (Siam) My family is from Chamgmai area. I tried this place for dinner. The food I ordered was mediocre. Same Panda Express for Chinese. Ordered Yum Neau. The Yum Neau had a hot sauce almost like Thai. Missed the ginger, lemon/lime..... This hot sauce was the best authenitic anything Thai I have eaten in 30 years. The blatant insulting part about the meal was this hot saice. The hot sauce is Chinese..... Insulting in many ways. Most insulting part is Thai don't everd serve this hot sauce in any restaurant. This review went from a four star to a two.

*SIP Review* DoorDashed since I was really craving Thai food and ordered my fav dish: pad kee Mao and decided to get tofu for the protein. Food came hot and portion was decent, but I thought the flavor was just meh. Even though I got Hot spiciness level, it seemed like mild. The tofu seemed to be the only thing that absorbed some flavor. Overall, I was a little disappointed and don't think this is the spot to go if you're looking for authentic flavors. Maybe it was an off night, or flavors are muted in general, or times are tough due to the pandemic, so hopefully they're able to improve on their flavor.

Wanted to try Chicken Meets Rice but their line was ridiculous so my colleague and I stepped in here instead. I don't know if he ordered from the lunch menu but I did and I certainly enjoyed my chicken yellow curry. Quiet atmosphere. I felt my laughter disrupted the ambiance of this place. It was my first time stepping out to lunch in over 3 weeks. The chicken was tender and the curry is not heavy at all. I am not a curry expert. Authentic or not. It was pretty delicious!

The salad itself is quite refreshing. If you like lime zest, you will love this salad. Pad Woon Sen: 4/5 The softness of the glass noodles and crunchy vegetables gave the dish great texture. For protein choice, I would recommend not going with the crunchy pork if you don't like chewing on harder fried chunks. The flavor is good but a little hard to bite through. Sausage Appetizer: 5/5 The sausage is juicy and has the sourness that fermented thai sausages usually have. I love that they provided ginger, nuts, thai chilis, and cabbage to pair with sausage. It really gave it that authentic touch. I recommend coming after 2pm on the weekend as that was when we went and there was no line.

Zero points for: And because I couldn't figure out the reservation/confirmation of a table, or if there is a long line with an even longer wait ...I got there early so that I could get a corner table and wait for my friend (who is handicapped) to get there!! My name got called and they said "oh let's wait till all your party comes and then we'll get you seated." I explained to them that I need the table 1st so that my friend doesn't have to go through waiting standing, then getting usher to a table, considering the handicap. They were stuck in their thought process and did not give us a table. My friend had difficulty parking and getting in - so of course we had to wait to get a table. This is not at all considerate of them when we explicitly said we have a member with a handicap. They were rigid. What I noticed is that the corner table I asked for was given to a lady, even though her companion came in much later! The indoor seating is very cramped. I wonder how many people are truly allowed! I can grab anything from the next table if I wanted to - that's how terrible the seating is. 1 point for : The food is OK. Everything tastes the same. It's a bit too salty. This place is not worth a second chance! Especially for their attitude towards the disabled and handicapped!

Thai food is one of my wife's and my favorite meals to enjoy together and with so many great spots in the area having closed over the year we were very happy to return here. I'm glad to say they have not missed a step when it comes to flavor and quality. We ordered our usual dishes. My wife had the fried catfish, I went with the barbecue pork and we shared the roti appetizer. Everything was delicious and satisfying. Portions were generous enough that we had leftovers for the next day and they tasted just as good as when we first ordered them. Service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I always joke with my wife that coming here feels like a first date because it's such a pleasant sit-down experience, whether for families, groups, or a nice date night. A bonus worth mentioning, their Thai iced tea is excellent and really hits the spot. (stronger than other places) Overall, Jasmine Fine Thai Cuisine remains a great go-to Thai restaurant and did not disappoint at all.

The pad Khing was heavy on the vegetables, which were crisp and plentiful, and came with about 6 shrimp. It wasn't particularly unique. The rice was just the right amount.
