What a horrific experience. It took them about 15 minutes to give us a menu after we were seated. Another 15 minutes to take our order. And then another 40 minutes before our food arrived. They kept serving other patrons who arrived after us while ignoring us. Our server kept disappearing and never checked on us to see if we needed anything. We waited and waited as we watched servers take plate after plate from the kitchen to everyone else for 40 minutes. I try to think good of people, so I didn't want to believe it in this day and age, but I started to realize that it was all the Caucasian people being served first, and the rest of my party, all of us people of color, witnessed and realized the same disgusting thing, as we had to endlessly wait and be ignored. It wasn't until after my mother-in-law finally had enough and got up and said something to the staff that they finally brought out our plates. Later when I brought this horrible treatment to the manager's attention, he was rude, condescending and flippant. He gave the excuse that the restaurant was very busy and our server was working the bar and serving food, all of which was a lie because there were only two people at the bar, and it was other servers bartending not her; she disappeared. The restaurant wasn't so busy that other people had to wait like we did. It was only us. Everyone else was getting served, we were not. He continued with his rude attitude and said he gave us a discount and that should be sufficient. Not once did he apologize, not once did he say he was sorry, not once did he thank us for coming to his restaurant. To add insult to injury, when my daughter walked to the restroom, he cut in front of her so he could go first and didn't even bother to say excuse me or apologize . I have never witnessed this blatant type of discrimination and behavior, and I was horrified and sickened. I couldn't even enjoy my food when it finally did arrive, so I couldn't even tell you how it tasted. My blood was boiling and I was near tears. To see my family and I be subjected to this type of outright discrimination is disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourselves. My family is visiting , and we drive in from out of town so I can try to show them a good time, and then we experience this? I will never ever come back to this restaurant. Visited Prescott's downtown and found this great place. Elegant interior and friendly helpful staff greeted us. We immediately were seated at a great table. Cocktails are delicious. Our food was terrific too. We were there on two occasions during our stay so sampled breakfast and a limited lunch menu. I also lost a special ring and called them to have them look out for it. Sandie immediately searched and found it! I am so grateful for her willingness to help me. Wonderful people work here. read more

Went here for Valentines date....Cadillac Margarita was excellent. Cesar salad was amazing...and I mean amazing...real ceasar dressing, crisp romaine, shaved parmesan and crotons...all in house made. Amazing brunch and service in a cool historic hotel downtown. The remodel is beautiful. Order the brisket and eggs! Flavorful and juicy.

Wish we could have tried this place out. We entered through the hotel lobby entrance and passed 2 servers. We went to the front entrance to host station to get a table. We stood there for 4 or 5 minutes and even though there were an additional 2 servers/bartenders at the bar, we were not acknowledged. There were several other parties already sitting at tables. After another few minutes we took a few steps up to the bar to ask if we could seat ourselves or needed to wait. They simply said, "Oh, we are closed for another 15 minutes. We close for an hour between lunch and dinner." So we left. Our rub is that the doors were open, we walked by 2 servers, waited for over 5 mins with no acknowledgement with 2 servers at bar behind host station, had to ask about being seated, weren't offered the chance to wait or possibly a drink at the bar? Had lunch here today. Place is only open for breakfast and lunch due to staff shortage. I love how affordable the drinks are. 5 dollars for an ipa beer and 6 dollars for my wife's glass of wine. Amazing food, the Brisket Benedict was probably the best Benedict I've had in a long time. The spicy hollandaise sauce is packed with flavor. Biscuits & Gravy was also good but our waitress Jasal (who was fantastic) said to try the Chicken Fried Steak next time we are in, that will be happening!! We were greeted and seated quickly. Very disappointed how they handled the burger complaint we had. Overall our 6 person check had petty good food! And service, only mine and another person shared a burger, it was dry and way overcooked. Our waiter ask if we wanted something else, so we ordered the appetizer coconut shrimp which we had ordered earlier which was delicious. When our bill came, we noticed they charged us for both meals. We complained and the person that appeared as the manager said they don't remove bad food. Of course, I'm shocked and surprised at the conversation. They literally tried to charge us for the bad meal and the new replacement meal. We complained over and over and it did not matter. Loved this bistro. Great old town Prescott feel and atmosphere. We came in for a late brunch and I liked the variety of Eggs Benedict options. The "Old West" Benedict, thin cut prime, cooked nice and rare which was impressive since thin cuts tend to get overcooked. Their hollandaise sauce was rich and tasty, and gluten free, which really helped my wife. She had the Florentine Benedict , with spinach and avocado, they server it on a toasted buttered gluten free bun. She was so happy to be a part of the Benedict experience, the unique delicious cocktail didn't hurt. My daughter really enjoyed the Chicken Fried Steak, rich and creamy gravy and just the right breading to steak. The service was friendly and attentive. Acceptable food, not better, but not worse. You would get slightly better food at a Denny's, but of course there is no Denny's on the plaza. From what I can tell, your other restaurant options on the plaza are less good. The Bistro is generally professionally run, while most other places there are more "casual." I had both breakfast and lunch at the Bistro. Nothing serious wrong about either, but also neither one--vegetarian omelette for breakfast, fish & chips for lunch--was very tasty. A veggie omelette at Denny's is tastier and more appealing. The French fries had too much of tiny, crumb-like little pieces. But the waitress at breakfast was totally gorgeous. Of course, your mileage may vary. Remember, you're on Whiskey Row, not Gourmet Gulch. You'll have to go some ways off the plaza if you want a more upscale meal. read more

Went here for lunch the first day I was visiting family. The atmosphere is really cool and theres like a mini mall inside you can browse when you're done eating. I ordered their fish and chips. The fried fish was possibly the best fried fish I've ever had, even better than the fish and chips whenever I go to the beach. They were so flakey and had a delicious flavor. It came with a dipping sauce and even though the dipping sauce was also amazing, it didn't need it. the fries were also really good. the palm Arnold I ordered was disappointing though. The tea was weak and tasted too tart from the lemonade but didn't have that lemonade taste either? But the meal was delicious. read more

I had not been to this restaurant for 5 years, and I heard from the manager or owner that they just added a dinner menu. The atmosphere of the restaurant is good but the service is even better. The manager and waitress were very social and obviously wanted to make my dinner a memorable experience. Try the Navajo Shrimp Taco, it's delicious and they give you a decent portion of shrimp in it. I can see why you gotta hit the Bistro St. Michael before you walk down Whiskey Row. We wandering around Whiskey Row when we decided to check out Bistro St. Michael. We went on a Monday so it was pretty dead but because of that we received amazing service. Our server was tentative and extremely sweet. We ordered the blue crab dip, Ribs and the steak sandwich. First off that crab dip is AMAZING! Every single bite was rich and full of real crab, not the kind with a K. We were pretty stuffed after eating it, it was so good. My ribs came with a creamy jalepeno potato and corn. The ribs fell right off the bone and were delicious but OMG the potatoes were some of the best I have ever have. I couldn't stop eating them and if I knew that recipe I would be in trouble. My husbands Steak Sandwich was hearty and delicious. Overall we were satisfied with our food and the next time I'm in Prescott, I'm getting those Potatoes and Crab dip! read more
