Edit: I went the one time and have tried to go back during their listed hours a total of 5 times now and they have not been open. The one time we went back it was great but driving there and finding them closed so many times when they were supposed to be open was such a waste of my and my families time and money. Went here for breakfast cause I had gotten a free voucher from the adjacent Hotel St. Michael. Had the standard two eggs over easy, ham, potatoes and toast. And coffee. The ham was a nice piece, perfectly fried. The eggs were over easy perfectly and the potatoes and toast were good as well. I have no complaints about the food, that is for sure. Filled me up till the end of the day. The service was a bit on the slow side. The server was quite friendly and efficient, but I think she might be overworked. I asked for condiments, and it took a while to get it. I could see it in the kitchen, and I was darn tempted to go over and get it myself. I think there was a guy helping her out or something. I think he was trying to clear the table cause he was trying to take my coffee cup before I was done. I had to grab it before he got his clutches on it. I waited for the check and never received it. I was excited to go back to the restaurant in the St. Michael's hotel after it was closed for a couple of years. It was one of my favorite spots in Prescott to sit and have a late and a piece of their delicious quiche. After arriving, I was greeted warmly but was told the espresso machine was broken and in the basement. The lunch menu offers an array of burgers and mostly fried food. I ordered the chicken lettuce wrap, but it was so salty that I couldn't eat it. The waiter offered the buffalo chicken wrap instead, but it was soggy with salad dressing which overpowered the whole sandwich. I did enjoy their tomato bisque and they have really good cole slaw. The wait staff was attentive and pleasant. I hope they improve their food, fix their espresso machine, and offer some healthier options. When you stay at the hotel you get breakfast vouchers for a free traditional breakfast (eggs, bacon, toast, fruit) and/or 5$ off any breakfast in the menu, which is a pretty sweet deal. We had breakfast there 2 mornings and got the Florentine Eggs Benedict and the Chicken Fried Steak, both were super tasty and the chicken fried steak is a must if your coming from the northeast! My wife and I were up in Prescott for Christmas Day and needed a nice warm place to sip some hot cocoa and watch the snow come down. Bistro St. Michael was one of the few places open so we gave it a shot and oh are we happy we did! After a short wait we were brought to a window table where we could see the town square and Gurley St. The snow was coming down and it was like something out of a picture book! We ordered cups of hot cocoa (very delicious) and a margherita flatbread as we were cooking dinner that night back at home. The flatbread was the perfect size and filled me up just enough to make the 2-hour drive home. The staff was phenomenal and made sure we were enjoying ourselves the entire time. Very old, historic location and you have a lot of viewing of the streets. Breakfast was very good and we had the eggs anyway, bacon/sausage links, any bread toast, coffee and potatoes. We were treated very nicely and checked on regularly. There was a break were our initial server left, but we were taken care of nicely. My wife liked that they had Smucker's packets of apple butter and orange marmalade. Prices seemed reasonable for the area, but expect about 10-16 for a meal plus drinks. This is hands down my favorite breakfast in Arizona. Something about sitting at the rustic bar and the wonderful staff makes me so happy. I am actually getting a little teary-eyed writing this already because I love it so much. Wow I'm lame. I have had everything on the menu without meat from the 2 egg breakfast to the huevos rancheros (they're so good I didn't look up from my plate). There are many great vegetarian options. When I was finished with my huevos rancheros I actually felt sad, but I was so satisfied I licked my lips and reveled in the after-taste. I always get an almond milk latte here because it is perfectly made. I typically don't like almond milk but something about theirs is delicious. I always ask for either a "small bit of vanilla or white chocolate" or if it's the right time of year some baileys. Their screwdrivers and Bloody Mary's are impressively strong. I feel like a little kid on Christmas Morning every time I'm here. I can't wait until the next time we are up here just so that I can have breakfast here again! read more

Giving two stars is me being generous. An overcrowded restaurant in Prescott that seemed disorganized; with rude staff. While my partner and I were dining for breakfast, I asked for a refill on my hot tea. Some blonde lady with an attitude threw my two teabags down onto the table and sat my caraffe of lukewarm water down and off she went, as if she either 1. Does not like two men who choose their establishment (among the many others available) in which to dine for breakfast, or 2, She was inconvenienced. Perhaps she was both. Our actual server was also rude, I think it has Melissa on the top of my receipt, only checking on us once, to collect her payment. Food was mediocre, and subpar. Came here for lunch with a group of 4 and there was a 10 minute wait around 1pm. The menu is so diverse and reasonably priced for what you get. It is simple food and you can taste the quality and freshness. I had the Bistro Burger and you can tell the blend of meat is their own original. Comes with a choice of side all for $6.95. The service was friendly but a bit slow. They were busy but perhaps someone called in sick. The restroom is outside of the café in the hallway of the hotel it is attached to. You must get a token from a staff member that will let you in the door. Located on the corner right across from the courthouse and park, the location is right in the heart of things.
