My family has been going to Dr. Davoodian for a little over a year now and I just switched over. They had raved about her and her team and boy were they right! All of the 5 star reviews are spot on - she's kind, gentle and non-judgmental. My prior dentist had sold his practice and the new owners were more focused on maximizing revenue (unnecessary treatments) than patient care. I had a couple of things that needed fixing, and Dr. Davoodian did a great job explaining what needed to be done without overtreating. I had a crazy pregnancy vomiting 10+ times a day for 34 weeks. I knew my teeth were going to be horrible after. I've been seeing this office for 4 years now. Their facility is state of the art. Dr Davoodian is incredible. She's compassionate, honest, fast, and gentle. I previously saw the same dentist for over 25 years and as it turns out they were for whatever reason not calling out issues developing around my wisdom teeth. Dr Davoodian saved my tooth. She also warned me that one day the issue may come back and it would need to be pulled. Fast forward to a week ago - I'm suddenly in quite a bit of constant, throbbing pain. With a simple text, Dr Davoodian's office got me an appointment the next morning with no notice. She quickly diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately their in house surgeon was out that week. She went above and beyond and was able to refer me to a nearby oral surgeon that she completely trusted. An hour later I was being prepped for an extraction. I would give a million stars if I could! From my very first visit, she immediately paid attention to every detail. She even found a cavity that my old dentist had simply covered up instead of properly treating--so disappointing, but I'm so glad she caught it. Just moved to the area and needed a primary dentist! Called an endodontist by accident, and they recommended me to Dr . Davoodian! I'm sure glad they did! It's a door in the back... a silver door that will transport you to the modern - almost like a movie era of dentistry! The esthetics really trip me out! But the most impressive is the team! They're such nice and outgoing yet professional peeps! They care, make sure you are always ok, tell you what you need, what they are concerned for, and will ask you if you need a breather; also very silly too! As other dental reviews of mine have said, I *hate* going to the dentist. Nothing personal, DDSeseses, I just hate mouth-related pain. Oof. But I decided I needed a routine check up recently and found Dr. Davoodian online with plenty of rave reviews. I was able to see her rather quickly after calling. The building is very muted outside - you'd probably drive right by it. There's on site parking and the entrance to her office is around the back. However, inside it's completely modern, updated, and clean. The staff are all incredibly friendly and clear. First appointment, the assistant (not sure if hygienist?) was very patient with me as she did my x-rays. I am terrible with those contraptions in my mouth so I warned her and she did her best to accommodate me - didn't make me feel obnoxious, which was nice of her :) I am a baby about it. Phew, those were out of the way and I met with Dr. Davoodian who is super chill and has a pretty good sense of humor. She pointed out a spot in my front tooth that had kind of a gap, more like a 'cavity could happen here' so she wanted to fill it in. Made an appointment for 2 weeks later to have that done. I agreed, but told her I'm super nervous, hate dental work and needles in my mouth, etc. She reassured me she has all sorts of tricks to help. Cut to 2 days ago for the filling appointment and man, she kept her word! She first used some topical numbing gel on my gums and then she and her assistant did this trick with aiming water at my mouth and kind of shaking my lip so that I barely felt the needle - honestly!! Tiniest of pinches. I had a shot in the front of my gums ~20 years ago and it was brutal. Then after the first shot when it was numb, she gave me another shot and dosage of novacaine and since it was numb, barely felt that. The work itself took 5 minutes tops as there wasn't really anything to drill, just pre-emptively fill. Mouth was numb and felt weird for a bit after (always does) and then I was even more surprised, literally nothing hurt once the novocaine wore off. I was amazed. If you don't have a dentist or are looking to switch, I 100% recommend Dr. Davoodian. She's thorough, doesn't dilly dally, and is personable to boot. Also my bill was laid out BEFORE my appointment, which I appreciated too. Seriously great dentist and office. Note: I will not be attaching photos cause.....uh....no thanks ;) read more

I can't say enough good things about this office. I was tired of driving 38 miles one-way to my previous dental office so I was referred to Dr. Davoodian. My first visit was last week when I realized that a part of my old silver filling had fallen out. I ended up getting it replaced today with composite material by Dr. Davoodian. Wow, is she good! The entire staff is really on their game, very friendly and efficient, and the appointment was less than an hour and virtually painless. She is very careful to make sure that the anesthesia is perfect so you feel no pain and shows you the x-rays as well as photos of what work was done. I am so happy to find this office. read more

I avoid going to the dentist. Hate it with a passion. So finding a good dentist is critical and I think I've found my new dentist. Things I look for: -modern techniques -allows me to take breaks and have topical to make me comfortable -tells me what they are doing -doesn't try to have a conversation with me while my mouth has a bunch of instruments in it -doesn't try to get money out of me every possible opportunity They were very understanding of my hatred of dentistry and were great about making sure I was as comfortable as possible. Wow. Dr. Davoodian is an angel on earth. I got into a motor vehicle accident and had massive dental damage, with significant bone loss and front teeth knocked out. I scoured LA for a full year searching for the best dentist until I finally found her - time and effort I'm so pleased I committed. Most dentists didn't even want to touch my situation, but Dr. Davoodian promised me she'd get my smile back. She expertly led me through the entire process with kindness and integrity. On the medical side of my accident, I felt like I had to be my own doctor and therapist, but with Dr. Davoodian, I could just be a patient. I was so comfortable putting all my trust in her knowing that she would guide me through all the tough decisions. And her skills??? Omg. Dentistry is an art and she is Picasso. And the entire staff are so kind and were invested in my recovery. Not only does she feel like a friend, but she makes the whole dental experience enjoyable. She's not trying to upsell you anything you don't need and genuinely cares about her patients. In looking for a new dentist, I decided to try Dr. Davoodian as her office was nearby. My pre-appointment experience raised some concern as I received multiple messages about the same thing on more then one occasion, despite having responded to them, and it seemed quite disorganized. More concern was raised upon arriving at the office, located in an old, poorly maintained building. However, my experience only improved from there. From the moment I walked in the staff was friendly, efficient and thorough. They did a pain free cleaning and expressed concern for my comfort many times which put me at ease. Dr. Davoodian herself was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in her explanation and assessment. She was understanding of my request to hold off on non critical X-rays until next time and seemed honest and truthful in her assessment. Despite the initial concern, I had a great experience and will likely make this my new permanent dental office. Bita an amazing, caring and thorough dentist. Not only did she do a great job with resealing all of my teeth, filling cavities, reshaping my front teeth, and general cleaning, BUT SHE STOPPED MY HUSBAND FROM SNORING!!! I now sleep so much better that I don't have to wake my husband up to roll over. She scanned him for sleep apnea and has him wear a night time mouth guard. We found Dr. Davoodian when my daughter woke up with a cracked tooth on a busy Saturday morning. Her regular dentist couldn't see her and I went online. The office manager fit us in immediately and went out of her way to work around our schedule. She also went out of her way to find our insurance information when I couldn't. The office is easy to get to and. Dry clean and welcoming. The staff could not be nicer even for a last minute appointment on a Saturday afternoon. I moved my whole family here. I came in for what I thought would be a routine cleaning last Monday and found I needed a deep clean. Blech. No fun but Dr. Davoodian did the first half right there. During my X-rays I heard her helping my daughter with her long division right outside of the room. When I was done she gave me a hug as if we were family. Honestly you could not do for a more through, kind, and caring dental office. I came back this morning for the other side and it was a breeze. Dr. Davoodian is very in tune with her patients.
