This is a friendly husband & wife dental team located downtown MB in the Metlox on the upper level. You can find Metered parking underneath. The receptionist is friendly and great about rescheduling when conflicts arise. We used them for a number of years, until we moved from the area. Everyone, from the dentists to the staff are invested in the local community (which I love). They donate funds to the local education foundations regularly. I did find them pricey. I used to really hate going to the dentist, from waiting rooms dealing with unhappy front office personnel, drills and poking and prodding in my mouth does not exactly give me the warm and fuzzies...until now. Beach Teeth is a very different type of dental office. I mean their office is just steps away from the beach..hence the name Beach Teeth. Plenty of parking in the Metlox shopping center. The front office is upbeat, professional and ready to check you in with minimal waiting. I have had several teeth cleanings at Beach Teeth. The hygienists are professional, efficient and really know what they are doing. A cleaning happens in the blink of an eye as each chair is equipped with flat screen monitors where you can catch up on your latest Netflix binge while your teeth get cleaned. Dr. Ozer and Dr. Norris are consummate professionals. What really sets them apart is their genuine care for their patients. They really have your best interest at heart. I recently had a crown replaced and it was actually an exciting experience! They have state of the art equipment where they make the crown on-site in some super space age oven (i got to watch). Truly as good as it gets. I lost the genetic lottery when it comes to teeth and Dr. Ozer has ushered me though some tough dental procedures in the kindest and gentlest way possible. Everyone in the office is a true professional from the moment you walk in the door. I was a little apprehensive about having my teeth cleaned during Covid, but they have a great protocol in place that immediately put me at ease. Additionally, Dr. Ozer just fitted the crown for my dental implant and it looks and feels amazing. All their equipment is state of the art, and the office is beautiful and blocks from the beach. Since moving out of state for school and work, I don't have the opportunity to see Dr. Norris anymore which is a shame because she is awesome. The hygienists are excellent and very friendly, they even let you watch movies while your teeth are cleaned! Also, they have adorable fleece blankets in case you get cold (embroidered with "brush and fleece everyday!"). I had an Invisalign treatment done here in addition to regular visits, which I highly recommend. It was relatively pain free and very easy. Also, I one bit a fork while eating a salad at the Beverly Hills Country Club and tiny part of my tooth chipped off (yes this is a first world problem) and Dr. Norris filled it with some gel stuff same day! It was Awesome. The only room for improvement is the receptionist who isn't always the nicest or most professional. Put it plainly, she's a bit rude on the phone and in person. However, this isn't THAT big of a deal for me and the dentists and techs certainly make up for it. I'd definitely come back if I ever come back to LA! read more

Beach Teeth is in an amazing location (with easy parking) in Downtown Manhattan Beach. My favorite part about Beach Teeth is how genuine everyone that works there is. I have never once been made to feel guilty about my lack of flossing, which is something I had always dreaded about going to the dentist. I promise I'm trying to get better at it! They try to pair you with the same dental hygienist so you get to know who is working in your mouth. They give me easy tips on how to improve my dental health. When I get there they sit me down and tell me they are going to do a teeth cleaning, wait! That is what I told you on the phone?? yeap, the doctor is busy but we can clean you teeth and do an X-ray. SEP 18 2017 I recently had an unfortunate fall in my home, which resulted in me banging my face and head against the edge of the bathroom sink counter (hard ceramic). When I got up from the fall, I was looking at myself in the bathroom vanity mirror. What a horrible sight! I had lost 3 of my front teeth, and I was a bloody mess. My wife immediately called our Family Dentist of the past 30 years, Dr. Steven Ozer, of Beach Teeth in Manhattan Beach. Dr. Ozer was able to calm her by talking her through "first responder mode". He calmly asked her to get a towel for my mouth to control the bleeding, and then to "find the teeth that fell out, as quickly as possible". She found them. He told her to put them into some milk, or if there was no milk available, to put them into my mouth so that my saliva could preserve them. I put them in my mouth. And, no, I did not swallow them!! Even though this was after normal business hours, Dr. Ozer asked us to immediately drive to the Beach Teeth office where he would meet us to perform emergency procedures. Once there, Dr. Ozer himself went into "emergency mode". He was quickly able to numb me up, and re-insert the missing teeth. The total time from my fall, to the teeth being re-inserted, was 1hr. !! But that's not the end of this story. Dr. Ozer also cared enough to make sure that any other damage to my teeth, that might have been done in the fall, was also diagnosed. He put me through a 360-degree X-ray of my mouth which revealed that my bite was not aligned optimally. Dr. Ozer immediately called a colleague of his, Dr. Thomas Ying, of Manhattan Beach Oral Surgery, for a consultation. After a couple of back-and-forths over the phone, Dr. Ying told Dr. Ozer that he would immediately drive to the Beach Teeth office to have a look for himself. When Dr. Ying arrived (within 15 minutes!!), I now had a team of two, working on my predicament. After about 1 more hour of work, the team of Ozer and Ying had my proper bite aligned, and had bonded my loose, re-inserted teeth to my firm teeth with a temporary brace. Miraculously, within less than 3 hrs. I was transformed from almost this: (Insert here - picture of front-toothless guy from the movie Deliverance) to virtually my former self. (Insert here - picture of my full-tooth smile) Because of the severity of this trauma, I have been told that there may be complications over time. I'll accept that. But without the timely, and selfless, and professional help of these two doctors, I would never have even had a fighting chance. They gave me more than my smile back, they helped preserve my dignity. No amount of thanks is enough for these two miracle workers. read more

I have now been their patient ( without sedation needed) for a number of years and recommend them to all friends and family.
