had to wait a month for insurance to change over as BSD was unwilling to accommodate an emergency appt. After the month had passed, I called on multiple occasions and got voicemail. I'm so happy to have found Beach Smile Dental and Dr. Parducho! I was looking for a new dentist after staying away from dentists during the pandemic. Dr. Parducho was reasonable and honest in assessing my teeth and gums. I didn't sense any tendency for overtreatment like I have with some previous dentists. View was careful and communicative as a hygienist, making sure I wasn't experiencing any discomfort. Jamie did all that was possible to get coverage from my insurance. They seem to take a wide variety of insurance. The office has a happy vibe where all the staff respect and support their patients and each other. read more

This practice is unethical. They say they take your insurance but they quote you five times more than the insurance plans copayment. For example, crown for molar is supposed to cost $275 out-of-pocket, with my insurance. They quoted me $1500 for a crown. They did not even call my insurance to confirm what's covered and when Jesy said she would check with my insurance to see how much they would cover. She never even called me back after quoting $1500 without even calling the insurance first. service is so horrible. They didn't contact me till the day before and I wasted my time and I cancelled clients at work for nothing. They also said they wouldn't do the crown without doing a deep cleaning first for $550 when a regular cleaning is covered by my insurance. This is a big scam. They should not accept your insurance if they're not gonna honor what your plan covers. .... It's sickens me that people in this kind of health field try to steal from their clients. I would never go there because who would trust these kind of Dentist to work on you when they're pulling this crap.... read more

After my husband got the run around on the phone when trying to schedule our appointments, I showed up at 9 for my 9am appointment this morning only to find the door locked. I waited 20 minutes, knocked on the door, and called an left a voicemail with the office. Nobody has called me back. I left after 20-25 minutes of nobody showing up. I took the morning off of work to go and this is just so unprofessional. Also word to the wise, they will not schedule a cleaning at the same time as your initial x-rays and exam. In dec I spent half an hour on the phone with this office + my dental insurance making sure everything was all set for my visit in January. Upon arriving to the office they had no recollection of this (no notes whatsoever and apparently couldn't "find" my information so I was turned away. I then called my insurance company and they told me there was no reason for me to have been turned away because with my insurance I didn't have to be assigned to this particular office and I could visit any office as long as they were in network which they were. Aside from that, the floors were DISGUSTING. It looked like they had not sweeped in a month, there was marks all over the paint on the walls. Stay away. Worst possible kind of dental care. Little to no respect for customers. It's crazy places like this exist. Due to horrible customer service, ineffective time wasting treatment and disrespect. My family is never going back. Three strikes they are out. 1) Month to set up initial new customer between insurance verifying everything is correct then Beach Sh*t Dental being confused and unable to complete set up. Hours on the phone. 2) Initial teeth cleaning appointment. Takes 2 and 1/2 hours. Even worse they only take Xrays. Dentist has poor skill level relative to others. Unable to answer simple questions. Have to schedule cleaning for a month later. Seriously! 3) Third appointment scheduled first thing at 9 am in the morning to avoid waiting around again for hours. No one at the front desk. I waited a full hour in the lobby with out even being greeted. This lack of basic respect for customer time is ridiculous. Wasted around 8 hours without even receiving service for a simple cleaning. When I arrived the aesthetics of the place are really nice! There is parking right underneath the building that is free. When you come to the office the space is cozy, only 3 chairs but they are nice, plush chairs you would find in someone's home. I am sure they don't over book appointments so the space doesn't get crowded. The receptionist is friendly and welcoming. While waiting in the office the doctor walked behind the receptionists desk and she greeted us in the waiting room and was very polite. Once I was brought inside the dentist sat down with me and went over all my information. Asking about medical history, very thorough. I called to make an appointment for my teenage son on a Monday and the line was busy all day long, I tried various times throughout the day. Not a good first impression. Their website is still under construction. :( They asked me to have my insurance contact them and provide them with proof of eligibility because they did not see my son on the monthly list from the insurance company. I feel they could have called themselves, they had all the info. They made me fill out forms online with everything including when and how often I took a dump! Getting in the door was not pleasant and they didn't make me feel very welcome. However, once we attended the first appointment, everything changed. The front desk staff were very friendly. The dentist was no nonsense, she took x-rays, didn't find any cavaties, didn't try to force unecessary and expensive treatments. The experience was awesome! -1 star for New Patient satisfaction. Didn't feel they were accomodating enough. I used to go here in 2015 and I felt like everything was fine until I started asking for copies of previous invoices. I noticed on one of my bills I was being charged for a deep cleaning which was more expensive than a regular cleaning...I don't remember it being any different from other cleanings I've received so I asked about that charge and that's when I requested previous invoices for further review. I kept getting excuses as to why I couldn't get them: 1. Receptionist was too busy so she would have to print them out and mail them to me at a later time 2. I never received them in the mail - she said she had the address wrong (or that I gave it to her incorrectly) 3. I suggested she fax them to me - she said she did and I never received them 4. I suggested she leave them outside her office door so I can pick them up - she said she would and when I went to pick them up they were not there All very fishy to me so I stopped going there. Flash forward to August of this year and my current (and awesome dentist btw, dm if you want his info) says the crown I got from my previous dentist (these folks) was not done correctly and needed to be replaced. So, on top of the $809 I paid here I had to shell out another $1400 to have the work redone and lo and behold, not only was the previous crown job done incorrectly (it was too close to my other tooth for me to floss it properly and didn't fit the gum line properly) when it was initially installed, it nicked the tooth behind it too which left a crack in it. If it had been left unattended any longer it would've created serious issues. I really didn't want to leave this type of review because it felt mean spirited but I feel like people need to be aware of issues like this. After coming to this office, I started googling the dental field and turns out most recommendations from dentists are completely unnecessary and fueled by greed. I'm not saying that's what happened here I'm just saying that if your dental provider suggests you need some amount of work before trusting them fully and doing what they say, go and do some research. Get a second opinion. You might be surprised at what you find and save yourself some money and headaches. On the bright side, the work was always relatively painless, appointments were easy to schedule, and parking was always easy. read more

thanks to yelp i was able to look up dentists covered by my insurance - the majority of them sounded shady and even had fake reviews. i was beginning to lose hope, but i found that my coworkers had chosen dr. parducho and she had good reviews elsewhere on the internet. so far i've been in for xrays, exam and a deep cleaning on my lower teeth. she's great!! the assistants are very nice and patient. the office is very clean and nicely decorated. you even get to watch TV while you're in the chair getting work done. sending my bf to this office as well. they accept my insurance (guardian) and his insurance (blue shield ppo). highly recommended :) read more

Dr. Ursula is great. My entire family use her, and my husband, who has some trouble with his teeth really loves her. She is especially helpful in emergencies -- if you are in pain she will get you taken care of. She is understanding and kind, and if you are like me and don't come in as often as you should, very forgiving. My entire family saw her today, and my husband will be having some intense work done, but he is happy with her treatment plan and the work she has already done. I had to write this update based on my experience today. I had a pending appointment scheduled for this Friday, but this morning I noticed my temporary filling (scheduled to be permanently filled on Friday) was loose. I called Dr. Parducho right away and she told me to rush right in. No appointment or anything! I raced over there only to find her in street clothes. This is by far one of the best dentist office's I have ever been to. They are all so welcoming and I felt very comfortable. The atmosphere is very serene and calming. Dr. Parducho is so sweet and gentle, and she thoroughly explains what needs to be done, and what will happen if things are not done. Every time I come to the office it feels like visiting old friends. The ladies are very nice, accommodating and know what they're doing. I once got quoted for a mouth guard at $500 at another dental office, but once I came here, I was able to get it for $250. An added bonus is that they never come back with extra charges after you leave the office. The Dentist even gave me her personal cell phone number just in case I had a dental emergency over the long holiday weekend.
