Not sure about the other location but i for sure won't be letting anyone else do my nails here. The tech left scabs around my cuticles from using a tool to shave them down. It wasn't painful until she used it on my right ring finger. A couple of days later I can the damage really done due to her lack of experience.

Got a pedicure and manicure done here today with my sister by both Jay and David and we absolutely love it. Their service was so great and they were so patient and kind!

It was my first time here and I found this place on Yelp. Location has lots of parking. Priced well, a basic pedicure in the chair is $28. Lots of choices of colors. Huge bar inside, well stocked and lit up, looks like a bar you'd see in a fancy club. The salon is really big, nicely decorated and clean. Although I didn't understand why the kids section is all by itself away from adults, and why wouldn't they be in area with their parent plus I don't appreciate the fact that it's pink, that's outdated and to imply moms can't bring boys to get pampered (it should be neutral). The staff was nice and my technician was respectful to my needs and her work was well done. She did great job on my toes and her massage was strong yet comfortable (since some places I have gone, the women lightly rub your feet rather than massage). I enjoyed my visit and liked everything about my trip there and will be back. Sidebar: I don't understand why the owner chose to put such a large and sheek salon in this location. The shopping center the salon is in, is barren and gets very little foot traffic. The only way this salon will survive is based on word of mouth or the owner puts in effort for some advertising.

I went to get my nails done (overlay) because, like I said, I have to find alternative places when my original Salon is either closed or booked out. I already wrote a review about Dominique to my pedicure so I decided to try this place out again. I had Michael. Other than his great and vivacious personality that kept me laughing, he was actually very skilled. He was very patient with me when I was trying to decide if I was going to do shellac or dip powder and even looking for a specific color because I'm so used to Chrome at my nail salon. Michael even got my nail shape perfectly on the 1st hit of the file! Also, because my real nails are strong and long, I was very happy to see that he didn't do too much Drilling. It was just an overall good experience. Conversely, I wish he did a little bit more drilling toward the top where the cuticle is after the overlay was applied, but that's something we can fix the next time I come to him... Yes, there will be a next time! So..........anyone who wants to be taken care of, go to Michael for nails!

I came here for the first time on Labor Day Sunday, and it wasn't crowded at all. I had Kay take off my old nails and do ombré for me (nude and soft white). She was patient, listened to what I wanted, got my shape right!!!, and was kind. Will definitely be returning and seeing her again. Love the work. Also the lady at the front (forgot her name) was kind too. Customer service is great here.

OMG, this is my NEW favorite nail place. They are going to know me by name because cleanliness, great service, and luxury are three things I love in a nail salon and this place is it!!! With cleanliness being the kicker! Yes!!! I just yelped the best nail salon near me and I looked at the pictures and reviews and fell in love. In love!!! First, when you walk in you ate greeted right away and walk ins are welcome. There is an abundance of nail colors, it's overwhelming! I changed my mind so many times and they patiently waited because I know they understand. I'm a purple EVERYTHING girl bit the hot pink stole my heart so I went with that and picked a purple pink for my toes. My manicure was a dip manicure that I've never done before but I love it. I was annoyed at first that they had to dip it so much but the end result is sleek perfection. Dominique did my manicure and Tom did my pedicure and I will ask for them every time. They give you a 15% discount by the way for first timers. Dominique did my eyebrows as well and I love them. This place is Huge and it looks luxurious inside. They literally have a bar to offer you free drinks. Sodas, water, Mimosa, and wine. The water bottle they gave me was cold and not cheap. They have an ATM machine which is so convenient. I can go on and on but you get the picture. Gotta pick up some extra shifts at work because I will be here often. Oh, wow. This place is FANTASTIC! 20 stars!

First time here and I have to say I will be back! I walked in and was greeted right away by what seemed the manager then She guided me to the check In tablet. After that she asked if I knew what I wanted and I showed her a picture of the color I wanted and rapidly she showed me the color 543. After that I met Ms.Ariel , she was very sweet and gentle while doing my nails, she knew exactly what she was doing. Such a fancy place, great experience and great price! For the coffin nails In color 543 it was only $45 dollars , Loved it!

Came in for a full set color nail with design. The front desk girls were friendly and welcoming. My nail tech lady was Christine and she was SOO sweet and did a fantastic job with my nails. Don't waste your time calling to make an appointment. They give priority to walk-ins who will be having something done thats more expensive than what you're paying for. I was seen 1 hour after my scheduled appointment time. The manager was extremely rude when I asked what time I could expect to begin since it wasn't going to be the time I made the appointment for. She blamed not getting to me on time to being short staffed after I watched them take a group of 3 walk-ins to the back. There are plenty of better nail salons in Houston than this one. Don't waste you time and money on this one! read more

We haven't had our nails done in roughly 8 months because we had many bad experiences back to back. However, this place deserves a 12/10. They make me want a weekly pedicure. I have very sensitive skin as well and I always expect some redness after getting my nails done. Yet I had none! Their products smell phenomenal and are strong but have no trace of harsh, artificial chemicals. The building is beautiful, we opted for water, but if alcohol is an interest of yours the bar is gigantic and looked well stocked! Even if you're happy with your current nail salon, I promise this one is better. read more

I don't get my nails done that often but that doesn't mean that I don't have certain standards that need to be met. I booked an appointment for 6:30 PM for a Shellac Manicure the day before in order to ensure that it was an acceptable amount of time since they close at 7 PM. The entire time was very stressful since the nail technician kept having me switch my hands back and forth as she alternated doing a nail from each hand. Additionally she left quite a bit of nail bed space both at the bottom (close to the cuticle) and the sides of my nails. While you can't really see it from a distance (thank god since I am in a wedding this weekend). It is very evident upon a closer inspection that the edges are jagged and not properly covered. My nails are currently driving me nuts because I'm a bit of a perfectionist. read more

I came here because a coworker referred me ( I later found out I was one shopping center over from the one I was supposed to be at, which is great because I'm not coming back here). When I walked in I was greeted in a couple minutes. I wanted a mani/pedi with polish only on my toes ( which I had to tell them 4 times). I sat down and they had 2 ladies on me immediately. The one doing my feet made a face because my last polish had glitter in it so it was harder to take off she said. Shortly after that, she left and I was told her appt. came so they had a guy take over, which was fine, until I noticed after watching him, he had no idea what he was doing. He didn't really speak English but he eventually was able to confirm he was in training. After A while another guy came and would hover over him and check on him. He eventually brought out a timer and set it for 5 minutes for the guy to be done. He didn't make it. So the other guy took over, redid my pedicure ( cut my toe in the process) and finished me up. Had me sit under the dryer. By the end of this whole thing, I had been there 2 hours. When my feet were dry enough I went to pay, and it was closing time, so when I went to the counter the lady said she didn't even know anybody was still here. She asked about the service, I of course told her all of the above, and she didn't Care. Kept wanting to sign me up for reward program and made sure I tipped. She then gave me a 20% off coupon for my next visit ( because I was new, not because of my experience). Yea I won't be back. read more

I really wanted to like this place because it came highly recommended by one of my coworkers. Very friendly staff but the services were very disappointing. I came in for a toe nail polish change, a powder take off and new set and somehow I was talked into getting my eyebrows threaded, bad idea. The toe polishing came out fine but during the new powder set I was getting I was knicked multiple times and I lot of residue from the acrylic was left on my fingers even after washing my hands. My eyebrow threading went horribly wrong and I'm missing a patch from my eyebrow and they're misshaped. read more

Brought 3 customers who never got serviced because of poor customer service. They instead sat and had to watch me get my entire pedicure before being seen or acknowledged. They had to find their own towels to dry off as their water was long cold. This was embarrassing and ridiculous. read more

Second time I've gone here for a shellac manicure and the second time it's chipped and cracked in less than a week. The first time I didn't make it that big of a deal, but this time... this is unacceptable. Spent $30 and the shop was super slow. Went in last Wednesday January 29 around 2.00 PM and the lady was kind of flying through it, but goodness by Monday , February 3rd it started to chip. This is my hand today. Honestly taking my business elsewhere that takes its time and does a thorough job. The whole point of shellac is that it's meant to last MINIMUM 2 weeks, but usually 3-4 weeks depending on how you care for your nails and the quality of where it was done. I was highly impressed with Grand Lux. I had my favorite nail salon in my home town and had drove 40 minutes to get my nails and toes done since I moved. But I really needed a salon close by now! This place was amazing! I cannot day enough great things about them. It was clean and priced just as I have always paid for the services I get. Decided to give this place a try since it's closer to my house than the other nail salon I normally go to. The inside of the place looks really nice in comparison to the outside. They were very attentive from the time I walked in until I left. The lady who did my nail did an excellent job. I can't remember her name though. The lady who my pedicure did a good job, but my polish did chip in less than a week. I think it was the white polish she used. She was a little rough with my feet, but I lived to tell the story. I didn't give a five star review because the receptionist and the lady who did my hands were having a full blown conversation towards the end of my service which was annoying. read more

BEST NAIL SALON IN HOUSTON! I am in love with this place! The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel good and welcomed. They are all very attentive and helpful. I had a deluxe pedicure and a full set. Let me tell you that pedicure made me feel the most relaxed I had ever felt in my life from the scrub to mask and hot towels and the French tip was just perfect. I came the following day for a full set with my friend and Even better was my full set. I am in love! Kay did such an amazing job and went way above my expectations. She is the best artist ever! Wow! I was blown away by this place! It's so close to me. From the moment I walked in, Amber greeted me so nice I knew it was going to be what all the reviews have stated. The atmosphere is gorgeous and the work on my pedicure and full set with powder was so good. I have really short nails so it's hard to find someone who can do them and not make the acrylic look so bulky. But Kay(nails) and Trisha(pedicure) did an amazing job. I have found my new nail shop! It is a little more costly than you neighborhood nail shops, but I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for - and they can have my money anytime! read more

I live in humble. Work2 jobs. One a couple days in the Westheimer area. I went to get my nails done before work. They had an open slot right as i walked in perfect! Kelly was so sweet and delicate! I love how she did my nails i tried the cat eye for the first time! I def had never had my nails "baked" that many times but I've also never done cat eye so w/e i will say that before the end of my work day there was a good amount of chipping and lifting on multiple nails and by the next morning the edges were looking bubbly and some layers had already chipped off. Like i said i love in humble so I'm not going to go back to get them fixed as i work 7 days a week. But i really did enjoy Kelly so next time i have an hour or so before work I'll go back to her for sure!! read more

I love going to this nail lounge! I was greeted, given a glass of wine, and immediately seated with Dominique who did an incredible job of my dip nails! She also works every quickly so I was able to get in and out faster. If you get dip nails I highly recommend Dominique. She was very professional and experienced with dip manicures. My nails have never looked better! read more

This place is very nice! It is super clean and very big. It feels very upscale without high prices. Lillie did my fingernails and did a GREAT job! Perfect! Dominique did my pedicure and it was out of this world good! These ladies are very friendly and very good at what they do. I felt very pampered from the second I walked in until the second I left. They serve mimosa's, wine and margaritas too!! I didn't have to wait, but if you do, they have a complimentary bar area! I live 90 miles away from here, but will be making the drive back as this is my favorite nail salon yet! Seriously one of the best I've ever been in!! It is definitely worth it! read more

Stopped in last Saturday because I was in the area and was impressed. The ambiance was at my standards. Don't let the outside fool you. I made an appointment and as soon as I walked in I was attended to. I like the nail polish colors. My girl KAy hooked me up on my nails and I can't remember who did my pedicure but she did good too I enjoyed my mimosas as I was getting serviced and it was a great experience I love my nails and I would definitely be back. read more

This might be your next go to nail salon! I was greeted with friendly service by the manager who made sure I signed in via their I-Pad. The atmosphere of this nail salon is typical of any Vietnamese run nail salon. Pretty tacky but please do not let the decor deter you. Did you see that huge fish aquarium where you get your pedis??? And why if you are going to have that huge an aquarium are you putting minnows in it? OK, I got distracted! Yes, the place in huge and sooooo NEW! Who doesn't like new?!!! The girls are sweet and professional and Mary did a great job on my delux manicure which was $25 and since I was a first time customer I was able to get an additional 20% off via yelp! Who doesn't like to save money?!!! Try them out ladies and see how you like them. I just hope they are able to continue with the friendly customer service and professionalism. Never Ever Again!!! The worst nail shop in Houston!!! I had to get my nail fixed before I ever left the building, the shellac starting peeling off immediately. The tech rushes to fix it so it looked horrible. I was asked to sit in a chair in which a towel from the previous customer was left. The woman that changes my polish on my toes was being extremely rough, I had to literally snatch my foot from her. I went to the nail shop on Wednesday and another nail has chipped. I was never asked if I wanted a beverage. BAD SERVICE!!! read more

I did a chrome color - pricing was not disclosed prior to me choosing the Chrome either (Beware any add-on is charged. You are basically nickel and dimmed for every choice. My pedicure became an easy $100. Onto the quality of my nails. The quality was horrendous. The tech did not go all the way down to the cuticles so my fresh nails with a brand "new set" (I don't use tips and still got charged for a full set ) it looked like they were already a week old. After having the tech redo them to fix her mistake, they still look like shit. The tips of my nails are missing chunks of chrome. I'm not willing to walk back in there because this manicure and pedicure became an easy $215. I have never in my life paid that much for a simple pedicure and nail set. We came to Houston to try something new and expected it to be a little pricier, but I did not expect to give away my first born child. Nor did I expect to leave completely unsatisfied.

The products they use don't leave dips in my nails and my nails are so protected that they survive at least a month of daily typing, furniture assembly, and playing with my energetic dog. The shop is right on Fondren with plenty of parking available. You can walk in or make an appt ahead of time but they always have some availability. The shop is clean but there's no extra frills to distract you like at other shops. They have a few chairs and maybe 3-4 techs working at a time. They offer you a beverage and get right to business. Each time I'm left feeling good because the experience is great. Their prices are similar to old times ($40- gel pedicure and $25- regular manicure). If you're looking for a shop, check them out!

I'm not sure if this is the norm here but the tech only trimmed my nails before applying the dip powder but did not clean up my cuticles or trim any hangnails. Also, when she was filing down the dip, she cut 3 of my fingers which stung. I understand that she had another customer waiting on her but I don't think it was appropriate for her to rush through my service.

Also, I wasn't aware but apparently you can walk in and just say "just paint my toes", you don't have to pick one of the services from the menu? (I didn't know this but feel like that should be public knowledge). With all this and the quality coming out not the cleanest, I would not recommend this location.

I had an amazing experience at Bitcoin Nail Bar today for my mom's birthday, and I truly couldn't have picked a better place. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was clean, relaxing, and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to make my mom feel special and comfortable, which meant so much to me. You could really tell they cared about the experience, not just the service. Our nail techs were attentive, patient, and very detailed. They took their time and made sure everything was perfect, and my mom was able to fully relax and enjoy her day. I live nearby and frequently visit the big lots next door. I kept telling myself to visit but never made the leap. Today my mother was in town and we decided to Look on Yelp for a good nail salon. This was the first one to pop up so I took it as a sign I should visit. I wasn't disappointed. It's super clean and the atmosphere is very luxurious. I got the signature spa pedicure which was $40 but I felt it was well worth it. The 5 min shoulder rub really set the experience over the top. Not to mention I enjoyed a great glass of champagne. I will definitely be a returning customer ! Great service. Job well done !! read more

I tried this place out 08.26. The exterior is nothing exciting but I was blown away the minute I walked in. It is Huge and beautiful inside. The staff was very courteous and professional and provided a very good customer experience. Wendy and Danny worked on me and they were polite, professional and both did a great job. They have so many colors to choose from, plenty of chairs (even some for little girls), private areas for parties and a bar with wine if you have to wait. I will certianly be going back to this place. I recommend everyone at least try it. read more

I went in with no idea of what I wanted. I chose the color yellow and ended up on Google. I sat down at Kay's station, picked a random design and she immediately went to work. This was my first visit at this new salon. It's VERY nice inside...lots of space, clean, VIP sections for parties or larger groups. I got a powder dip manicure. Started off with Jennifer, who was very nice and gave me a tour. Karen did my manicure and I will definitely be back to see her! From beginning to end...a great experience! read more
