Love the restaurant but please stop over explaining the cost for my extras-I know it's extra.... I have a punch card not my first time at Bite Better Salad. Also instead of building my salad like on the assembly line, can I have my crispy toppings on the side. The Cobb salad is to die for my half of the Guacamole is on my lid.... Idk. Small place in a strip mall. But the ingredients were fresh... I ordered a build it yourself with a cup of broccoli cheese soup. The soup was the right consistency, too many places make it super thick and overly cheesy... this had a nice amount of texture and cheese. My salad was more than enough. I added peas, cucumbers, olives, sunflower seeds and egg (an add on protein for $1.50). I requested the cilantro dressing which was sooo yummy. We were searching for a salad place and we ran into this place from Yelp and I would have love to give it a 5-Star review, but when I got home, ready to eat and it looks like it's missing the crunchy chow mein noodles. Looked at the menu as my wife drove from Rialto and thought a salad with soup would be good. My wife didn't tell me they have no soup during the summer. Glad she didn't or we'd be eating McDonalds tonight. So all I get was a mediocre salad that they were too stingy to give one more. And yes. You would still be hungry. Finally a good place to get fresh salads in Redlands!! This place is SO good. I got a build your own, and I gotta say, the Caribbean mango dressing is fantastic! They have so many toppings to choose from and everything seems really clean and fresh. Great prices too!! It's salad, about what you would expect anywhere else, not reinventing the wheel. The issue is the employees attitudes. Went when they were out of their normal box size, they were using larger ones. This employee took it upon herself to make sure to tell me that "these went the normal size we use," "you can't get any topping item more than once," "extra dressing is an additional charge." All fine replies except I never asked? She just stares at me and says this in a condescending tone. Then upon checking out, my brother tries to hand me his punch card for it to be punched and she says "only one punch per visit." We are two separate people who spent $20+ each separately on a literal salad and you won't punch the same card because why? Makes no sense and I've never experienced that before. Also super tiny half scoop portions. i should have taken a picture to include with this review because it was an insulting amount of salad for $20. I won't be back and don't recommend anyone to go. read more
