Hesitant between a 3.5ish My coworkers and I have been ordering from here for breakfast quite frequently now. Their food is really good (omelette combo and vegetable hash is delicious), but today the toasts were really disappointing. $10 for a salmon toast with barely two pieces on it, and the avocado toasts BARELY had a thin layer of avocado. I like this place, I really do, it's adorable and the food is always fresh and yummy. My office orders from here regularly. Only thing- we usually order online in advance and the pickup time is never accurate. We come later than the time they give us and always have to wait longer. Judging from other people waiting I'm not the only one. Bite Food & Coffee is incredible! We were in town for a film shoot and ordered from here three times it was that good. The lunch menu was so diverse and (mostly) healthy and catered to everyone's tastes. From the salmon farm bowl to the mac and cheese-burger there was something delicious for everyone. The breakfast is so yummy (that omlette!!) The coffees are real top quality and I am fussy (I'm a kiwi) I loved the chai latte and the juices. I wish I could have dined in at this place, as the interior was so cute, and hope to return one day post covid to do so. Please support this business, they rule! What an awesome new spot! I found this on yelp when I was searching for a place to have a quick breakfast. I drive by every day but would have never known this was here! Upon entering you are greeted with an open esthetically pleasing interior and lots of comfortable seating. It's not a typical restaurant where you are seated by a host. You must order at the counter at the front, then they will bring your food to you. Everything we ordered was flavorful and a beautiful presentation. Will definitely be coming back here. First off, I LOVE THIS PLACE. With working from home, sometimes I need to get out for a change. I was at Bite Hackensack this morning to work for a few hours and also to enjoy a great cup of coffee. It was just myself and another person sitting at the tables. I nicely asked if she can lower the music just a little, only because I was about to take 2 quick zoom calls. She said she can't because they need to keep the music at a certain level, because of the noise in the kitchen.....OK!!! I have been there before and worked a little, and it was not an issue. I guess it has changed. The music then went up and I had to leave so heading to Starbucks, where I can work and have a little change. Disappointed that I cannot work there for a few hours, time to time. I am a loyal customer and always racking up rewards, but I guess this won't be a work for a few hours option in the future. extremely cute little spot next to the hospital. i was going to go to starbucks but i saw BITE and was immediately drawn to it. the menu has a lot of options from salads, pizza, sandwiches etc. i was just grabbing smoothies - i got the almond crunch which was delicious af ! i also got the colada smoothie which was a bit over bearing with lime. everyone was nice and the food smelt great. can't wait to go back read more

Horrible food, I ordered a huevos Rancheros and a ginger lemonade while my girlfriend ordered fried chicken and waffle and a peach mango lemonade and a lemon glazed loaf. This is my first time ordering from this restaurant. I appreciate that my food came in a bag that was stapled at the top. Also the lemonade had Saran Wrap so it wouldn't spill. My food was packaged with care. The lemonade was nice and sweet. The goat salad is good. This specific salad has arugula, baby's spinach, butternut squash, goat cheese, roasted pears, candied walnuts, and shallot vinaigrette. The fruits and vegetables used in this salad are very fresh. I've been to this place a few times now for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I must say they are a hit every time. So far, I've tried the yogurt and granola bowl, one of their sandwiches with a side salad, Mac and cheese bites and a farmer's bowl (each on different occasions) - I have yet to be disappointed. The food is always fresh, they have a great selection of options including truly healthy choices which can be something hard to find, and the prices are fair for the portions and the selections available. The restaurant is modern and casual and plays great uptempo music. It's a great place to relax for a casual breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant also has some self service (e.g. if you dine in you can grab your own forks, knives, and spoons) but they pick up everything for you after you've completed your meal. Only thing I would caution new diners or diners with allergies to double check what's in certain dishes - for example the kale and quinoa salad has dried fruit, pepitas, etc. I was looking around the restaurant at some of the other options diners tried out and the burgers and fries will be next on my list to try. read more

Not sure what changed over the past few months but the last three times I ordered food from there, it was HORRIBLE!!! On January 13th, I ordered (2) Chicken Parm sandwiches, French Fries and Onion Rings. I really like the service here. Everything was nice and helpful. I appreciate the cashier's recommendation on getting the coconut milk with the smoothie. Food was brought out quickly and done right. The ambiance at this place is very nice as well, great vibe. The reason I put a 4/5 stars is just because I didn't like the food all that much (quesadillas and fried mac), although the pizza was pretty good and the smoothie was great. First time here. Ordered the Mole Burger and onion rings. The burger was excellent. I love roasted poblano peppers. Nice add because you don't see that often. The onion rings were also good.
