There should either be some type of warning of the actual wait time or they need to add more workers. The two servers who were there were very nice and were certainly doing their best, but it's just not set up well. I would never have chosen to stay if I had known the actual number of orders that were ahead of us in line (it was a lot more than 8). Maybe that's why there is no warning. I then asked about the size of the layered ice cream "build-your-own" bucket because I was trying to visualize how large it was. She responded, "A pint," in a very dismissive manner. When I asked for clarification, she repeatedly said things along the lines of, "You don't know what a pint is?" The way it was said felt condescending and unnecessarily rude. The interaction became so uncomfortable that I found myself saying, "I didn't mean to offend you or ask a dumb question." At that point, my blood sugar was low and I just wanted something quick, so I ended up purchasing only the packaged cookie and leaving. I understand that everyone has difficult days, but customers should be able to ask basic questions about products without being made to feel unintelligent. It was a surprisingly unpleasant interaction, especially in an otherwise empty store, and unfortunately it's enough to keep me from coming back.
