Yum! The ice creams looks, smells and tastes high quality. Every flavor I've tried so far have been delicious. Coffee and Oreo flavors were my favorites. Love the toppings, especially crumbled peanuts and tiny chocolate chips. They can come to any event big or small. Not cheap though but fun for birthdays, work events etc etc.

Mobile truck in Palos Verdes, welcomed relief on a hot day, thanks to Trina from Vista Sotheby's for sponsoring the event.

My wife had King Kone show up at an event for a 2-hour window. The truck came plenty early to survey the area and pre scoop cups of ice cream, they were ready. The truck was in good shape and looked nice. My wife booked through Teddy who was responsive and easy to work with. It was a great overall experience with no hiccups. The ice cream is tasty, and they also make a quality shaved ice with various flavor choices. It was a good afternoon with King Kone, thanks to Scott who was the lead on the truck, the entire crew was courteous and friendly.

This ice cream truck was a nice surprise for my company sponsored event. They aren't your typical ice cream trucks that only have popsicles and ice cream cones. They have blenders and snow cone machines which allows them to expand their menu. The truck is pretty small, but they offer a huge variety. They have your normal cones but they also have snow cones, sundaes, root beer floats, Malts/milk shakes. I ordered an Oreo Malt and I would have to say it wasn't bad at all. I asked for it to not have whipped cream or a cherry but they gave to me. It was probably on accident since people behind me ordered Oreo Malts and just mass produced it. The Oreo Malt didn't have much Oreo flavor and it just tasted sweet to me. I also ordered a Strawberry shaved ice, I probably should have picked a different flavor because the Strawberry flavor wasn't that strong. Maybe I should have gotten Sour Green Apple. Overall, it was a good experience. I cannot comment on the price since this was a catered private event.

King kone made my son's 3 year old birthday party unforgettable! The sevice, the cute truck and their menu! I couldn't be more grateful with the crew and will definitely use them for future events. Thank you again!!

BEST ICE CREAM TRUCK EVER! We hired them for our wedding and they crushed it! Everyone loved the ice cream and it was such a fun touch to our wedding! We will for sure have them again for any event we can! Highly highly recommend them! They also were super responsive and worked well with our budget. They met up with my and my friend before booking and let us try what ever we wanted as well. We were hooked right away!

This ice cream truck was a welcomed sight on a blistering hot day when our company hired King Kone for a work event. Their menu features an array of the following classics using various ice cream flavors and toppings: - cones - cups - sundaes - milkshakes - soda floats - dipped cones - shaved ice - cookie sandwiches - banana splits I tried an ALMOND JUBILEE IN A WAFFLE CONE -- comprised of your choice flavor soft serve, covered in chocolate, then rolled in almonds and coconut. Soft serve was smooth, rich, and creamy. Loved the toppings, though the majority of the almonds/coconut fell off since they did not stick well to the chocolate. For this catered event, we were each given multiple tickets to exchange for any items of our choosing. I also tried 2 different flavors of MILKSHAKES. Did not enjoy the strawberry milkshake because the flavor was weak. The Oreo milkshake was much better because it was very chocolatey. Service was friendly and efficient. The gentleman who ran the truck did so with a smile. He was also very patient when some folks took extra time perusing the menu. This is a great dessert truck with a menu sure to please anyone, young and old alike!

I love the service and I love what they serve. I have seen how they were making the shakes in the blender and they put generous amount of ice cream in the shakes. I loved it!! Two thumbs up!

These guys are cool. The had the ice cream sandwich with oreos. The thing was huge. You had to eat it with a spoon. It tasted delicious. The ice cream was yummy. As good as it was however, I could not finish the whole thing my own. I would definitely try this truck again!

Huge variety of desserts. Perfect on a sunny, summer day! I particularly enjoyed the ice cream. SO. CREAMY. I wouldn't suggest getting the avalanche just because the syrup falls off the ice too fast and the ice cream ends up melting in a puddle on the bottom before you get through the shaved ice! But! I love King Kone! Great for corporate events.

The place is super small and no line, but the flavors were plentiful. I forget what they do, but you can get a combo of flavors in a single scoop. Then, an eternity ago, it closed and we were sad. Then Long Beach Creamery opened and we weren't that sad for that long, but still, I absolutely still thought about them every once in a while, sad that they'd left. Then, a much closer eternity ago (about a year ago - I've been super burned-out and not finishing my reviews), I was on my way from an event back to the blue line and walked by and noticed that they had, in fact, just moved. So obviously we had to get some. Verdict - yes, it absolutely was as good as I remembered. I wouldn't go back to DTLA just for ice cream, Long Beach Creamery being walking distance and wonderful, but I would absolutely stop here if I were back in DTLA and wanted ice cream. It's a bit pricey, but all craft ice cream is going to be, and it is definitely craft. And you can save a lot by getting a 3-scoop, which is very much enough to share for two people, if not slightly too much.

But I wanted to leave a review because the girl (I forgot to ask her name, sadly) who helped me today was really lovely! I bought 30g of their matcha and admittedly thought when they didn't give it to me at the counter that they forgot, but I sat down at a table to eat my ice cream and decided to just ask for it after I finished. Thank goodness I did, because the cashier came up to my table about 10 minutes later and handed me a little bag of fresh-ground matcha. She took a second to explain to me how to store it and keep it fresh, and I just really appreciated the extra bit of customer service, even if it's something they're maybe expected to do. When I have the money, I'll definitely come back and get their 100g pack! Each month I go in to try another tasty flavor and it never disappoints but I am sometimes that girl who tries the new stuff but ends up getting her usual order (chocolate brownie) and am always happy.
