Salmon with Mango Salsa (back), bulgogi sandwich (front)

I love the food here! The owners are really nice, and you always feel like they try their best to give the best service. I also really like the overall feel of this place - it gives a gokd 'mom and pop' feel to it. The food is pretty good - they have a daily special that changes daily. I really like their bulgogi sandwich - really recommend it!!

    Salmon mango n salad

First let me start off by saying WOW!! I love this cafe! Because I really do.. the owners are really sweet 10/10. The food is amazing. My favorite is of course the salmon mango.. my family loved it they gave it 10 stars lol. And also there soups 10/10. I highly Recommend.

This place has great food, reasonable prices and a good assortment of meals to keep you from getting bored - and you can get a full, healthy(ish) meal for under 6 bucks. Try doing that at McD's or Carls. They serve lunch specials that range from Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches to Spicy Tuna Rolls, to Lasagna. How much more ecclectic can you get? I love the owners - a true "mom and pop" shop, this husband and wife team are the friendliest and just all around good peoples. Normally in-office deli's are mediocre at best - but people settle for it for their convenient location - but not this place. Even if I didn't work here, I would probably go out of my way to have lunch here regularly. Oh yeah... and their BLTs must be laced with crack cocaine because theyre addicting as hell.

Joanne is an absolute sweetheart, and Valerie LOCKS it down. I went every day for an entire week, and I'll be back again tomorrow. The vanilla lattes are delicious. The baked goods are phenomenal. And then during a Yelp search, I saw the ratings. So, I went in last Friday for a late brunch with my parents and i can definitely say that i was pleasantly surprised. This restaurant is located in a small strip mall at the corner of Westminster Ave and Seal Beach Blvd. in Seal Beach. There is lots of parking out front and there is a handicap ramp leading to the entrance. From the parking lot to the interior of the restaurant, everything is clean with beautiful and simple floral designs. We came in at a down time as it was an hour or 2 prior to closing on a weekday. So, we just about enjoyed the whole restaurant to ourselves. As we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and immediately led to our table. The interior of the restaurant is setup like a country diner with booths and a long breakfast counter with high chairs. Only way more modern with fresh wall colors, rustic wood accents, vibrant tiled floors and large glass windows. It is Cozy and inviting. The old school playlist adds a relaxing touch. I really liked the live edge look-alike design on the tables. The wall of the hallway leading to the restrooms, is covered with really cool kids hand drawings. I thought this was a nice touch. I really like their overall menu which offers something for everyone. (See full menu in attached pictures) I ordered the Ribeye steak and eggs. The steak was tender, the sunny side up eggs were cooked over easy and i asked for the hash brown to be extra crispy. And it also came with 2 slices of toast. It was really good. My Mother got the Greek chicken skewer which is one grilled chicken skewer with grilled onions and bell peppers on a bed of garlic butter rice, a side of Tzatziki and a greek salad. My mother ate it all, i had a taste of it. It was delicious. My father was not hungry so he just had a latté. We all had a latté. They also have an orange juicer for fresh squeezed OJ and a pastry case. That day, they had some really fresh looking Almond croissants. Overall, we had a very good first time experience. Gioia, our server, who could have been the manager for all i know, was so kind, welcoming and accommodating. Which made our experience even better. I will definitely be coming back. FYI: they open at 7am and close at 3pm I highly recommend Sunny side Café.

The location has plenty of parking and plenty of seating. There is an outdoor patio, and inside there is a first floor seating area, and a second floor seating area. The interior had high ceilings and modern practical decor. Staff will take your order at the cashier, but they also have a kiosk if you want to avoid human interaction. I was here for a few hours, so I started off with a hot beverage since I saw that they have mug service. I had the hot Churro Latte ($8.15/large) and I was warned it's a bit sweet so staff suggested that I get it less sweet. I appreciated the gesture but maybe that's why I didn't taste too much of the churro flavor. It tasted like a good regular latte but maybe they held back on the caramel and cinnamon to the point I couldn't detect it. Seating is first come first serve. It was actually really busy and difficult to find an ideal spot. Since I was alone I sat at a high top ledge, strategically near an outlet. From what I saw, they had a really good amount of outlets in the indoor seating area. Later on I went back and ordered an iced Blueberry Lavender Matcha with Cold Foam ($9.25/large) and a Deluxe Avocado Toast ($15) which comes with egg, bacon, and herb oil. I like that this location serves the avocado toast with a knife and fork cause it was much needed. It was a bit on the wet side. Maybe I should ask for light herb oil next time. For how much this avocado toast cost, I would have liked more avocado. The avocado was more of a spread, not whole slices of avocado. Still good, just an observation. The blueberry lavender matcha was okay. I could taste the lavender but it was overpowering the matcha and the blueberry was hard to detect at all. Honestly the location and plentiful seatings is what stood out most from this experience. I would consider coming back since I know their products are good from trying their other locations but I wouldn't get the drinks I ordered this time. For how expensive coming here was, I wish I was a little more satisfied.

I really enjoyed the thoughtfulness and atmosphere of the place. It is super cute and cozy in a little neighborhood next to the park. The food here was delicious as well! We got the short rib chilaquiles and the salmon bowl as our entree and we loved the short rib. The salmon bowl was decent, it tasted like a healthy salmon bowl if that's what you're looking for, but I would want to get their ahi next time. I also really enjoyed their french toast latte and the tomato bisque was delicious to warm us up since it was so windy. They also gave complimentary free cheese bread since it was our first time. I would definitely come back!!

Off work early = Sunset Hour = Happy Hour!…read more Parking: They have medium/large parking lot. Finding a parking spot is easy. Ambiance/Environment: This is an outdoor restaurant. I love the decor and setup. They have a good amount of seating. It wasn't busy when we visited around 16:00, but they did have a dinner rush later on. They also offer live music during dinner! Service: Everyone we encountered was courteous, quick, & efficient. We were checked on multiple times, and throughput was quick after ordering. Food & drinks: They offer a brunch menu, happy hour menu, and dinner menu. Unfortunately, they do not have a full lunch menu. 1) French Toast Latte - I'm a crackhead for caffeine, so of course I ordered a latte instead of a cocktail lol. I enjoyed this latte! It surprisingly wasn't too sweet. It had a good balance of coffee to sweetener ratio. 2) Great American Cheeseburger - My friend and I ordered this from the Sunset Hour menu. The burger was good and tasted as expected. 3) Fries - Since the burger didn't come with fries, I ordered some on the side. They were shoe string fries topped with shredded cheese. The fries were also good. Pricing: I can only speak on their Sunset Hour menu. The prices were very cheap. The cocktails weren't discounted since they were the same price. The Sunset Menu wasn't anything out the ordinary. The food did the job and tasted good. Will comeback to try their other lattes!
