Salmon with Mango Salsa (back), bulgogi sandwich (front)

I love the food here! The owners are really nice, and you always feel like they try their best to give the best service. I also really like the overall feel of this place - it gives a gokd 'mom and pop' feel to it. The food is pretty good - they have a daily special that changes daily. I really like their bulgogi sandwich - really recommend it!!

    Salmon mango n salad

First let me start off by saying WOW!! I love this cafe! Because I really do.. the owners are really sweet 10/10. The food is amazing. My favorite is of course the salmon mango.. my family loved it they gave it 10 stars lol. And also there soups 10/10. I highly Recommend.

This place has great food, reasonable prices and a good assortment of meals to keep you from getting bored - and you can get a full, healthy(ish) meal for under 6 bucks. Try doing that at McD's or Carls. They serve lunch specials that range from Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches to Spicy Tuna Rolls, to Lasagna. How much more ecclectic can you get? I love the owners - a true "mom and pop" shop, this husband and wife team are the friendliest and just all around good peoples. Normally in-office deli's are mediocre at best - but people settle for it for their convenient location - but not this place. Even if I didn't work here, I would probably go out of my way to have lunch here regularly. Oh yeah... and their BLTs must be laced with crack cocaine because theyre addicting as hell.

Bottom Line Up Front: The Crema Cafe is a bakery and…read morerestaurant that will satisfy both your sweet tooth and savory craving -- so long as you don't mind paying a premium. The Food: In the past, I've come only for the dessert, but this review will focus on my most recent visit when my wife and I had brunch here. I ordered the quiche Lorraine, a classic variety that featured ham, cheese, and bacon. It was firm, hearty, and delicious. The wife thought it was a little dry, but then again I like hard boiled eggs and she prefers them runny, so I chalk it up to personal preference. My wife had the breakfast burrito, which was stuffed with all kinds of goodness, including egg, ham, bacon, and chorizo con papa. We both really liked it but thought it had just a hint of sausage. If it was more meaty, it would have been flawless. The Location: It's located on Main Street near the beach, so street parking is extremely limited. I came on a Tuesday morning and didn't have an issue, but lunchtime and weekends are insnae. Visit off peak hours to avoid the traffic jam or a long wait. The Setting: Crema is a medium sized establishment, with about half the space taken up by the bakery line. Fortunately, there's an outdoor seating area with about another 10 tables. Since we brought our dogs, we chose the latter option and enjoyed the shade provided by the umbrellas. Everything is clean and well organized. The Service: The customer service is great. The staff was all polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. The Price: This is really the only con: everything is 10% to 20% more expensive here. I call it the beach tax. Shops along any beach can implement it because people are willing to pay it in order to enjoy the amenities and location. The Conclusion: The Crema Cafe is one of our go-to restaurants for brunch and dessert any time we come to Seal Beach. It's not flawless, but we always leave happy.

I came here on a friday morning with my mom and waited around 10-15 minutes I believe. Once we were sat, we decided on ordering the breakfast burrito with chorizo and the nutella french toast. For drinks we ordered the dirty chai with oatmilk and a regular chai latte. The drinks were okay nothing too special. The outdoor seating was very cute, super nice since it is right by the beach. As for the food, I thought the burrito was okay, I can't say it was something I'd come for again. As for the nutella french toast, it was also okay, put nutella on anything and I'll eat it, but I'd love to come back to try other things on the menu. The service was okay, my server was not very attentive, and I was looking for her everywhere, but maybe it was a bit busy.. Overall, this is a very cute spot, I would come back to try other things on the menu due to the location and wide variety on their menu. As for the service, I'm hoping it was just a backed up and stressful day.

I like this location more than others because of the bigger parking lot, more seating options (including an upstairs area and outdoor seating), and I've also received better service here compared to other locations. The place is simply decorated, and it honestly is a solid spot if you're looking to crank out some work or meet with colleagues/friends. It does get pretty crowded so it's better to get an early head start if you can, especially on the weekends. In terms of their drinks, my favorite is the blueberry lavender matcha latte. It's on the sweeter side and has a floral aftertaste, but the flavors mix really well together. I typically get their matcha drinks or teas because I'm not a fan of coffee, but my friends that are coffee fiends are fans of the various coffee drinks here. Compared to other cafes, I feel like the cost of the drinks is standard, but the prepared food and pastries are on the steeper side. Still a great spot, I enjoy coming for the atmosphere and biscuits!

The location has plenty of parking and plenty of seating. There is an outdoor patio, and inside there is a first floor seating area, and a second floor seating area. The interior had high ceilings and modern practical decor. Staff will take your order at the cashier, but they also have a kiosk if you want to avoid human interaction. I was here for a few hours, so I started off with a hot beverage since I saw that they have mug service. I had the hot Churro Latte ($8.15/large) and I was warned it's a bit sweet so staff suggested that I get it less sweet. I appreciated the gesture but maybe that's why I didn't taste too much of the churro flavor. It tasted like a good regular latte but maybe they held back on the caramel and cinnamon to the point I couldn't detect it. Seating is first come first serve. It was actually really busy and difficult to find an ideal spot. Since I was alone I sat at a high top ledge, strategically near an outlet. From what I saw, they had a really good amount of outlets in the indoor seating area. Later on I went back and ordered an iced Blueberry Lavender Matcha with Cold Foam ($9.25/large) and a Deluxe Avocado Toast ($15) which comes with egg, bacon, and herb oil. I like that this location serves the avocado toast with a knife and fork cause it was much needed. It was a bit on the wet side. Maybe I should ask for light herb oil next time. For how much this avocado toast cost, I would have liked more avocado. The avocado was more of a spread, not whole slices of avocado. Still good, just an observation. The blueberry lavender matcha was okay. I could taste the lavender but it was overpowering the matcha and the blueberry was hard to detect at all. Honestly the location and plentiful seatings is what stood out most from this experience. I would consider coming back since I know their products are good from trying their other locations but I wouldn't get the drinks I ordered this time. For how expensive coming here was, I wish I was a little more satisfied.

And let's just be honest, my obsession with chai lattes and almond croissants really needs to be studied:) So, naturally, that's exactly what I ordered. I got a chai latte with almond milk, and it was creamy, frothy, perfectly spiced, and just so good. The almond croissant was every bit as sweet, buttery, and delicious as I remembered. One of the reasons I love Ubuntu Café is the location. It's right by the marina, so you get this beautiful ocean breeze while you sit outside and watch people walking by. It's one of those places where you don't feel rushed to leave. They also offered me a half order of their cheese bread, and I wasn't really sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of my favorite things. It comes with a guava and passion fruit jam, and the sweet jam with the cheesy bread sounds like it shouldn't work... but somehow it absolutely does. The thing that really stood out to me, though, was the service. Everyone was so attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. It just made the whole experience even better. Five stars. No notes.
