This location is right off of Main Street in downtown seal beach. Parking is ample and walking from a local neighborhood wouldn't cost you any parking cost. It's hardly ever busy, but we came here on Halloween, which is exceptionally busy for whatever reason. The people are super friendly and my friend who I went with knows everyone. The food is very good although this dish was a little bit expensive because it doesn't come with any protein. $28 including the tax and tip I thought was a bit pricey for the salad, but nonetheless, the quality was excellent.

Was excited to try this place out. Walked inside and told the waiter i would like to sit outside. He brought me a menu, napkin and utensils. 15 minutes later and still not waiter. I left. Will not be returning. I shouldve went to Le Crema where i was going to begin with.

The breakfast sandwich was fine. Be sure to ask for a side of mayo. Next time I want to try the breakfast burrito.

We parked in front of this place by chance this morning. Original plan was to go to Crema Cafe next door. But something drew us to come here instead, and I'm glad it did. Inside is a clean and well lit dining area. The servers were nice, timely, and attentive. The food was fulfilling! The chilaquiles was probably top 1-2 I've had (but I forgot where I ate the other one, :)) and the cubano torta was plenty for 1. Ordered with a glass of OJ, and the rest was all she wrote. Highly recommend, esp if you don't want to wait inline next door. This is my new spot on Main St!

I've passed by this cute little restaurant so many times on the way to Crema Cafe, and I'm so glad I finally stopped in! I wasn't in the mood for eggs, so I ordered from the sandwich menu and got the veggie wrap. It was delicious and HUGE so I saved the other half to go. My boyfriend had an omelet and really enjoyed it. It was busy, but not overwhelmingly so it's definitely more chill than the usual wait at Crema. I still love Crema, but tbh, this place might have just won me over. The space is small but very clean, service was fast, and the staff were all super attentive. You could flag down anyone and they'd gladly help. We'll definitely be back. Thanks, Catrina Cafe!

The food was delicious. I ordered the Catrina Benedict with fruit. I enjoyed the food temperature, simple presentation, and flavor. Rewind, I arrived on a Saturday morning (around 7:45 AM) and observed 2 single parties seated - 1 person eating at a 2-seat table the other person not eating at a 4-seat table. I was greeted within a minute of entering the restaurant. The restaurant had a mix of 2-seat and 4-seat tables. I requested sitting at a 4-seat table in the corner. I was told promptly - "no, I am saving the 4-seat tables for larger parties. We get busy in the morning." Mental note - this IS MORNING and only 3 parties in the restaurant. Hmmm... later, as people entered the restaurant they were told to sit anywhere. One of the couples chose a 4-seat table yet were not asked to sit at a 2-seat table. They ordered and received their food by the time I had the opportunity to order. What is the point? SERVICE... A restaurant should create a warm inviting ambiance allowing you to feel like a guest. I ordered and received my food in a timely manner. During my meal, I noted no follow up or check in by staff. AND, the seating was at less than 50% capacity. As I walked out the door, I did not hear a "thank you - come back soon" like the other guests leaving the restaurant. Good food... Service, ambiance, and feeling like a valued guest - meh... I probably will not come back soon but will probably take a few extra steps to Crema Cafe. Crema Cafe gets crowded (like a huge group of people waiting outside the restaurant) in the morning. AND, yet, on a busy Saturday morning, the Crema Cafe's staff offer a wonderful SERVICE experience whether you are a regular or not. The food is delicious too.

A true Seal Beach gem. The owner, Craig, and his team stay true to a classic diner vibe yet, the menu is full of fresh, new dishes that showcase a Mexican twist. Maria handles the entire floor like boss. Kendall handles the drink/food run station like a boss. Together, those 2 make it happen! Food favs-- Talk about bang for your buck, the portions are plentiful. -Chiliqualis- the heat of the green salsa is right in the middle, not to hot, not to mild -California benedict- true decadence -Breakfast sandwich- old school and packs a punch of flavor (a fav for the weekly customers) -Banana Nutella Waffle- the ingredients are balanced perfectly for both the young and forever young -Bonus! Mimosas with 5 different juice options!

This is salad & half a sandwich. It's the BLTA sandwich it was so good and the salad very tasty and fresh !

Yes, yes, yes ! The best cup of coffee I've had in years hands down. Service was great. The eggs Benedict was fabulous. Looking forward to trying the different versions of their eggs Benedict next time. The ambience is ok.

Got the molette with chorizo and a side of fruit, super tasty. Definitely ask for the salsa to go with it. Very friendly and attentive staff. Will be back next time I'm in town!

Yummy breakfast! Cute interior! Servers were friendly, helpful and available to help. We went on a Sunday morning and had a 20 minute wait that went quickly.

Quaint restaurant tucked on a business street mixed with restaurants. They were busy when we arrived and then it fizzled down. We were seated quickly and our order taken, but it took what I felt was a long time (at least 20 min) to get our food. I didn't think that it would take that long since we ordered relatively easy entrees. The salsa verde is really tasty and was a much needed addition to the fit plate. I would've liked them to have cut off the brown pieces from the avocado before serving. The spicy BLTA was big with good flavor. The potatoes were cooked good and mixed with the salsa verde.

Came here for brunch with the girls great food! Came out hot and delicious. Get the chilaquiles and Nutella strawberry and banana crepes. I would definitely be back again. Went on a Tuesday which was a bit busy. Waitress was so kind.

This is probably my favorite brunch place in California. I still come to this restaurant to this day. I moved to Vegas 2 years ago and still come here to have brunch with my girl. 1. Staff is extremely nice, always attentive to us and ensure our experience is good at all times. 2. Food quality for price is great. You get high quality food for what you're paying for. I've had many dishes at this restaurant. Breakfast burritos, avocado toast, chilaquiles, mollettes, etc.. everything has always been tasty, flavorful, and high quality. 3. Location is great, the inside is designed well with plenty of seating options. Parking is fairly easy depending on the day you go. My go to order here is typically the breakfast burrito with sub/ carne asada. And a chocolate abuelita with a shot of espresso. Try it out! And make sure to get the molcajete salsa on the side. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for brunch. My favorite spot in CA!

My family and I stopped in on a Saturday around 10 a.m. The place was already packed with a line out the door, but don't let that scare you. The wait moved fast, and the staff ran that dining room like a well-oiled machine while somehow making you feel like you were a guest in their home. You order at the front, grab your number, then impatiently wait for greatness. Right away, the baristas were brewing, shaking, and stirring up some of the best drinks I've had in a long time. Matcha, mochas... Starbucks could NEVER. I ordered the banana strawberry matcha and an iced mocha. While I was at the counter, I obviously had to grab pastries because... self-control wasn't invited. The display alone had me ready to order 14 of 'em. I went with the tiramisu cookie, guava croissant, and strawberry cream croissant. Now for the main event. There were four of us, so naturally we ordered enough food for a small village. Savory pancakes, a bulgogi breakfast burrito with fries, steak and eggs, another breakfast burrito, and the Thai pizza. Yep. We came to eat. While we waited, I took in the atmosphere. The entire place felt warm and inviting. Sunlight poured through the windows, giving it the feeling of eating breakfast on your family's back patio. Just laughter, clinking forks, happy conversations, and those little "mmm" moments happening at every table. That's always a good sign. The Thai pizza hit the table first. Fresh out of the oven and straight to Flavor Town. The crust had to be handmade because there was no way something that good came from a freezer. The basil, sausage, and everything working together made this anything but your average pizza. It was different--in the best way possible. Five minutes later... Gone. Next up were the savory pancakes. At first glance, they looked simple. Then I took a bite. That little stack of fluffy pancakes topped with berry butter didn't even need syrup. THANK YOU for understanding that pancakes don't need to cover an entire plate to be memorable. These were soft, flavorful, perfectly sweet, and somehow disappeared before I could fully appreciate everything else on the plate. Speaking of everything else... The steamed eggs were light and fluffy. The hash browns? Listen... Whatever they're doing to those potatoes back there needs to be studied. They had the perfect golden crunch with this buttery goodness that made me question every hash brown I've ever eaten. Fried in beef tallow? Magic? I don't know. I just know I wanted another order immediately. The bacon deserved its own shoutout too. Fresh, crispy, and full of flavor--not bacon that was cooked at 5 a.m. and has been sitting around waiting for someone's Grand Slam order. This bacon had integrity. Then came the steak and eggs. The steak was tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. I had absolutely no interest in sharing. But somehow the potatoes still managed to steal part of the spotlight. Again... Those potatoes. Give me 14 of those babies to go. The breakfast burritos were packed with flavor, but those crispy potatoes inside gave them the texture that took them from good to unforgettable. And that green aioli? Bottle that stuff up. Immediately. This place just gets it. They understand that quality matters. Every ingredient tasted intentional, every dish felt like someone actually cared before it hit the table. Too many restaurants are cutting corners these days, and I will happily support businesses that refuse to compromise. Worth every penny. This is hands down one of the best brunch spots I've been to in a long time, and I already can't wait to come back. Do yourself a favor and go. Just don't blame me when there's a line.

This Italian restaurant was a great find. The decor simple but perfect for this coastal restaurant. It's all shades of blue and white and aqua, with photos of coastal Italy. There is a bar with some wine and beer, but I'm not sure if I noticed any other alcohol. A great special that they have on tuesdays, wednesdays, and Thursdays. For $50 for a couple, you get your choice of appetizer, two entrees, and gelato for dessert. For appetizer, there were two choices: mixed salad or fried zucchini and mozzarella with spicy tomato sauce. We chose the mixed salad, and it was perfectly dressed and very good. There were several options for entrees. I choose the caccio e pepe, and hubby choose Salmon Piccata with potatoes and vegetables. Both were delicious! We finished the meal with two scoops each of gelato. There were several flavors to choose from, but we are a little boring--I got chocolate and strawberry, hubby got chocolate and vanilla. I think our server may have been the daughter of the chef, as I heard them talking and laughing together in Italian. She was great, attentive and very sweet. I am sure we will be back. The decor is minimal and calming, mimicking the movement and tones of the water, almost like dining on a boat. We sat at the bar top and were warmly greeted by who I believe was the owner, which immediately made the space feel welcoming. I ordered the tagliatelle al ragù bianco, served with a pink sauce, and my significant other got the ravioli. The ingredients tasted fresh and rich, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared without being heavy. We paired our meal with two glasses of wine, which complemented the dishes perfectly. Overall, the food was great. Compliments to the young chef and our waiter as well, both really added to the experience.
