From the moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us with incredible hospitality and attentive service, making me feel truly special on my birthday. For our main courses, we ordered the Seafood Pasta and the Wild Mushroom Pasta, and both were absolutely delicious. The pasta noodles here are quite unique--they have a distinct, wonderful texture that holds the rich sauces beautifully. We started our meal with the Bruschetta, which was uniquely prepared with cherry tomatoes. It was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and the perfect starter to kick off the meal. We had reservations for a party of nine in the lounge area, and four guests in our group had never attended a performance or dined at Spag's before. After this experience, I can confidently say it definitely won't be their last visit. Spag's consistently delivers top-quality evenings like the one we experienced. From the online reservation process to our arrival and seating, everything went smoothly and professionally as always. Our server, Vanessa, was absolutely AMAZING! She handled every need our party had with professionalism, hospitality, and a genuine desire to make our night special. Not once did we see her become frustrated over special requests, changes to existing orders, or even being flagged down while already halfway across the room helping another table. I genuinely mean it when I say she was exceptional. We were no more important than any of her other tables, yet she made us feel like VIPs all night long. My wife and I ordered the sea bass and the rack of lamb entrées, and we shared the carrot cake for dessert. While the menu offers many tempting options, we'd gladly order all three again. My wife also tried a Woodford Reserve Bourbon Espresso Martini instead of the traditional vodka version, and let me tell you -- if you've never tried one that way before, you may be pleasantly surprised by how incredible it tastes. Vanessa even took photos for our group, separated each couple's portion of the bill, applied discounts and credits correctly, and handled everything with a smile the entire night. Order extra Parmesan. I'm begging you. They bring out the good stuff, not the dusty pre-grated sad-shaker kind, but real high quality melty Parm, and unlimited??? I turned my pasta into the creamiest dream with the perfect light nuttiness and saltiness, cooked beautifully al dente. The meatballs are ginormous and so moist (you can tell there's a good amount of pork in there). 100% worth it. The bone-in ribeye though... not my fave. Sauce was a little too heavy, kinda gave me TV dinner vibes ngl. The steak got lost under all that gravy. Broccolini on the side was perfectly cooked, just needed a tiny pinch of salt. But the focaccia?? CRACK. So pillowy and soft, paired with that butter I was gone. Loved the outdoor patio, and the free Wi-Fi is a huge green flag. I've been to Spaghettini before and have loved it. This time I was celebrating my anniversary. It was a great time! The food was delicious, I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese and Brussel Sprouts. The Rigatoni was very flavorful and the sweetness of the Brussels sprouts were perfect. The service was great, our waiter was very attentive and nice. In the past winning entrees include: gr lamb chops (med rare), pizza, pork chop my last visit. Thought the pasta with mushrooms sounded good but felt it could've had a boost with garlic or parm or something. Ahi tower app was loved by my friend. Me not so much. Ok, I am Japanese & particular about sashimi. Gotta be super fresh. Didn't feel this was. Our group had: 1) capellini- all veg no added protein. She was pleased. Portion was huge. Like 1/2 lb of pasta. 2) carmelized salmon- friend thought it was undercooked. However, most places serve it med not fully cooked since it's tough otherwise. I personally order my salmon medium. ‍ 3) gr lamb chop- she always orders this. Always very happy with it. Med-rare as requested. 4) living on the wild side, ordered the Berkshire pork chop. OH MY GOSH! Moist, tender & flavorful. How big was this chop? 2 inches thick? Probably brined since this was cooked through, moist & tender. Topped with a chunky applesauce & a nice pan sauce. Donnie Savage was fantastic. His song selection and beautiful voice made the experience even more enjoyable. There were two of us, and we decided to share a few items. We ordered the BBQ chicken pizza, which was the perfect size for two and absolutely delicious. We also tried the Berkshire pork meatballs and a side of French fries; both were very good. For drinks, we ordered the Perfect Pear (1/10), which unfortunately wasn't to our taste at all. However, the passion fruit margarita was much better (8/10) and definitely something I'd order again. I Liked the venue, but it's a bit pricey folks, so Just prepare for the sticker shock. You pay for the music and vibe. They Had a good musical group that wasn't necessarily jazz, but was good. They were a bit late to begin also. When you pay for the table, the music should begin when advertised. They have self parking and valet. It's a nice place where you are all Seated around the stage. They host jazz and other music shows. The food was decent and freshly prepared and it came out within 10 minutes or so. The service was great and they keep the drinks coming. Wifey had Eggs Benedict and I had a Cheeseburger. My Cheeseburger and fries was $35, about $15 too much IMO. The only thing that was a bit weird was when you pay the tip amount started at 20%~22%. We had a 10am Sunday reservation and the staff seated us right away. We were able to get one of the last parking spaces. It's decorated in Christmas decorations and there is jazz music in the background. Our server, Jon was exceptional and attentive. He was able to let us know which items were dairy free and gluten free on the Brunch Menu! And he was able to accommodate any of our food restrictions of no dairy, no gluten, and no egg. The cocktails were okay in my opinion. However my friends really enjoyed their drinks! The calamari was delicious and I love the sauces that came with it! The short ribs were cooked to perfection, very juicy. Fresh veggies. I was hoping that the corn risotto would have a sweeter corn taste but it was more on the creamy bland side. I tried the sea bass from one of my friends and it was so soft it just melted in my mouth. Honestly the cheesecake was incredible. Next time I'll order about ten of these. We had a fun filled evening with LA ABBA entertaining Friday at Spaghettini, con grazia. The music was all ABBA for two hours without break. The energy was palpable in a room with other fans, making for a fun evening of singing and swaying. We started with drinks and were served water and pillowy focaccia. My friend had the house wine, a Pinot Noir, which was delicious. I had the pineapple habanero margarita- a tasty number served with the flower like slice of dehydrated, pineapple. Beautiful presentation. We started with bruschetta (which I have at each visit). The halved cherry tomatoes are served with goat cheese, vinaigrette and slim slivers of basil. The toast is perfect and that it is slim crispy on the edges and still soft to bite into My friend had the pommodore, a light sauce married nicely with thin spaghettini. I was less impressed with my Bolognese. It was the most delicate Bolognese I've ever had; served with a very large rigatoni. It was too much pasta for sauce. Previously, I enjoyed their salmon, halibut and Chilean sea bass, expertly prepared. From my perspective if they can make fish this good I bet the pasta is incredible. I did attend a 94.7 The Wave AYCE Brunch 7 years ago, but still a novice in what Spaghettini offered on their regular menu. Good thing the e-gift card & promo empowered me in ordering some bougie fare. French Dip- Simply delicious! The prime rib slices were so tender. Usually paired with chips or fries, I asked for vegetables, in which I was given the option for Caesar salad. Much better than a French Dip from Arby's or other fast casual restaurant, Spaghettini's French Dip was chef's kiss. Seafood Pasta- Having the trifecta of lobster, crab & shrimp, the Seafood Pasta was creamy pasta excellence. Having the attendant liberally apply ample amounts of freshly shredded cheese upped the cheesy quotient all that much more. Short Rib- Creamy sweet corn risotto, heirloom carrots, horseradish gremolata & lathered in a red wine reduction, The Short Rib was decadently succulent, and a pleasure to eat. 16 oz bone-in Pork Chop- Berkshire pork chop, topped with miso apple compote, paired with Brussel sprout leaves & parmesan polenta. Let me put it like this - after elegantly slicing bite sized pieces on the majority of the tender pork, I grabbed the pork bone and ate all the delicious bits of meat left on it Fred Flintstone-style. Service was excellent. The bartender was friendly & hospitable, and the wait for food was negligible. A small parking lot in front of the restaurant, additional parking is available at the Bixby Business Center across Old Ranch Pkwy. Valet parking is also an option. Masterly crafted cuisine, with prices to match, Spaghettini had me in culinary ecstasy with everything I had the pleasure to dine on. Spaghettini does have great Happy Hour Specials (including French Dip), Weekly Specials, Wine Wednesday & more, to save a little dough over regular price. I love that I can call Spaghettini one of our local establishments, we always have access to celebrate anything small or large. Our most recent visit was made extra special by our sweet server Vanessa, who really insured that everything was well taken care of and we were able to fully enjoy the great music.
