Manager Mike in a world of food that is constantly changing. Four of us out for dinner along with a baby. Two of us are served while the other two are still waiting. Third shows up missing it's key ingredient. Fourth still waiting. Third sent back, never to be seen again until 45 minutes later. Missing drinks, all the server could do was apologize. We will NEVER return to this location. Came into town to visit family, we decided to go have a few drinks at the bar. After we paid and we were all leaving the restaurant one of the bartenders Jeremy, came outside behind us and gave us back out 10$ tip that we left, and said "We don't need your 10$". Jeremy the (bald bartender that doesn't know how to smile) all we did was have drinks at the bar. I feel like 10$ was more then enough to tip for the less than mediocre service that we received. My father, a veteran, heard about the free dinner for veterans at BJs on Veterans Day and thought it would be a great time to check out the restaurant since five out of the six of us had never tried BJs. We asked the waitress if there was a special menu for the veterans' meals and she told us that he could order anything he wanted from the menu. My dad ordered a $10 pizza. One member ordered a beer and after five minutes or so, she was told that they were out of that beer. No problem. She ordered another one. We ordered their cookie dessert and the person that brought it out informed us that it usually comes with a chocolate square on top, but they were out of chocolate squares. Once the bill arrived, the *free* dinner was charged to the ticket. The waitress said she forgot, apologized, and then went looking for the manager to remove the charge. We waited five minutes or more only to have her tell us that she was still working on finding her manager. No problem. We continued to wait. Another five or more minutes and she stops at our table to tell us that she was still waiting for the manager. At this point my husband said that he would go with her to find the manager. As luck would have it, the manager was only three tables away from us. There were at least 20 people waiting by the hostess stand for a table, which should have been the waitress's main priority - get us out and get new customers in. After ten minutes or so, we received our new bill, which required another wait for the return of the waitress to rerun our card. Again, my husband finally just walked to the register and asked that the ticket be put through again. No one was impressed with either the food or service. I don't see any of us returning for a second visit although I've been assured by my husband that the one in Round Rock is nothing like the one in Cedar Park, so maybe I'll give that location a chance. read more

So after 2 tries, we waited 6 months to see if things had improved. Sadly, they didn't. These are the issues needing to be addressed before we attempt another try in 6 months. 1. Dirty utensils every visit... Like really gross and dirty...3x now. 2. Lots of wait staff walking around, none of which actually serve you 3. 10 min plus before anyone asks for your beer/drink order 4. Empty drinks on the table- odd being a brewery 5. Staff seems chronically annoyed We were excited to try the new temple brew...we walked after 11 minutes of no service. On paper they seem great. Just need a makeover on actual service and cleanliness. Perhaps a new dishwashing machine? Please get some managers that manage these things. Sincerely. read more

This is probably the worst place to eat!!! Went with family of eight and food was all disgusting!!! We have been there 3 times and every time the food is rated a 0!!! The waitress with the scissors tattoo behind her left ear is extremely rude. Sat us at our table, didn't come back for a long time. Then took our order and refused to bring two alcoholic beverages at once. THEN brings my little brothers steak to our table... looks him dead in the eye and says "cut your stake to make sure it's how you want it" and wouldn't leave until he did. I'm updating my review because the manager did reach out and we have it another shot. Well, it was better, but not great. My gf's fries had little /black/burnt pieces of something all over them and gave them a burnt flavor. Looked like burnt seasoning or something. I ordered the sirloin, and for $16 sirloin that was pretty weak. Maybe 6oz. The Brussels sprouts were gross and looked like they had been cooked for WAYYY to long. Zero color and completely mushy. My baked pot came out with nothing on it. I asked if it was supposed to be completely plain(who eats a plain baked pot?) and she said no, came back with the butter, sc, and cheese. But by that point it wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese or butter. But didn't taste bad. We felt very rushed. Like our server was about to be cut and wanted to go home. She dropped off our check before our dessert even hit the table..and it was the wrong dessert when it did hit the table. No biggie, we got the right one pretty quick after. But once we finished our entrées, our drinks were never refilled. I even asked for more water at one point and she never came back. So we ate our dessert, and washed it down with ice. Just felt rushed. Wasn't the worst service but it was pretty bad. She was still serving tables around us, just not us anymore. We will be back, but probably just sit at the bar and have dessert and a beer. read more

The menu is huge and the food is as described. No issues with the food or the service at any BJs. The one thing that drives me crazy is the system of assigning a table then being escorted to it. It always seems cumbersome and confusing to one of the three people involved. The last time I went to BJs, they asked if we were members of their rewards program (don't get me started), then assigned a table number. A little fumbling around, three people looking at each other like something is wrong, then one says, I will assign to a different table then move them. I don't really care. Assign the table and take me there. This system of confusion happens all the time, but it's not enough to keep me from coming back. Just gets my blood pressure up before a meal ;-) read more

A restaurant with the word "brewery" in it should be an awesome place to enjoy good food and great drinks. As a local, I've tried this place several times hoping it would live up to the "brewery" name. It doesn't, not even close. It has a good sized bar, and their home brew is okay, but the food is just piss poor. I've tried burgers, salads, pizzas, you would think they could do something right, but they can't. My last meal was blackened shrimp that came out lightly peppered, cold and under cooked. After it was sent back it came back with more of the same. Their home-brew porter was too light and sweet for me, but it was okay. My dinner date had a salad and water they were happy with, but didn't order the wine they got last time because the price they charge per glass is obscene. We also kept trying this place because they have a good selection of healthy meals. But when they keep coming out so bad, there's really no point. There are just too many good, and even mediocre places to eat in the area, making this a place you should definitely not waste time with. I've given it all chances I can, I'm done with it. read more

In spite of all the bad reviews of this place, I and my family like it....for lunch. They have a decent lunch menu with fairly good prices. Prices for the same items (with sometimes larger portions) are more expensive on the weekends. Why do restaurants continue to do this?! I usually get a salad. Kids get burger and/or pizza. Spouse gets a chicken dish. Salads are large with a solid amount of meat. Pizzas are generous and the fries are thin and tasty. It can get a bit loud in this place, but we expect that. It's a sports bar. Sure do wish they'd create some outdoor seating and maybe be able to open it up when the weather is nice. Otherwise, we like this place. It's a good selection of the usual American foods. We like it. read more

Don't waste your time or money. Bad start with the menu being dirty to the point I needed to wash my hands after looking through it. I ordered Chips and Salsa for a starter, but that never made it to our table despite me placing the initial order and then reminding our server two more times. Once our main dish arrived he asked if we still wanted the chips and salsa. Really? Got chicken fried steak for main dish for $14.50. The side veggies (mix of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots) looked like they were poured right out of the frozen bag, obviously not fresh. The chicken fried steak looked good. It had two nice sized steaks separated by mash potatoes in the middle. The steak on the right was tasty and really good. The steak on the left was bland and not seasoned. Kinda weird I thought considering they were both cooked at the same time. I won't be back and would not recommend to anyone based on extremely poor service and below average food. read more

BJ's Brewhouse is a go to spot for my family. We are there once or twice a week. Our servers Pukie and Catalina have us spoiled with their outstanding service. On our most recent visit we met MS Jess, part of the management team. She was delightful and so sincere. Our food was a little slow coming out. Jess, was on it without a complaint from us. I'm not one to write bad reviews, but I can't help to for this. Got to restaurant about 5:05pm and was seated immediately. Ordered our drinks and appetizers. Some time passed and realized that everyone arriving after us were getting their apps before us. 45 minutes passed and we flagged a manager and told him about the appetizer. He apologized and brought them out 5-10 minutes later and said he would take care of it for us (as in free). We enjoyed the app, then our deep dish pizza came out shortly after. Our waitress was definitely taking care of the larger tables and didn't seem very interested in keeping us satisfied. I asked her if I could get some Parmesan and she said yes. 10 minutes passed and I never got it. We got our to go box from a bus boy, paid on our phone then realizing that we still got charged for the appetizer but I was too livid to deal with it, so I paid for it anyway and left--we do not intend on returning to this particular store, but we do love BJ's usually. read more

We placed an online order and when arrived, they did not have in system, waited additional 25 min for our order. When i finally got our dinner home found that one of the meals had been overly spicy, when the menu didn't indicate this. So i went back to the restaurant and spoke with Doug the manager. He went to the kitchen, and he confirmed there was an issue with the meal, He was great in taking care of everything immediately. Every business may fail every once in a while but its how an issue is resolved the speaks volumes. Doug was very professional and i was very grateful for this. My wife and I came here tonight and had a great dinner. Yes it was pretty crowded, but that's to be expected on a Friday night. I ordered the gluten free pizza and my wife had a salad. BJ's Brewhouse is one of my favorite places to eat and grab an Amber Oasis. One of many beers they brew themselves. The menu is great and has tons of options. The Cedar Park location, however, is no good. Both my wife and brother-in-law got food poisoning from an appetizer they ordered. The service is slow and unattentive. Will not return to this location. Food is good, but service experiences have been terrible. Our last visit was the final straw. Went for a family dinner, at a decent time, they were not overly crowded or understaffed. We all placed our orders. My husband ordered a simple hamburger entree, no special requests. While most of our entrees came out in a timely manner, he didn't receive his until almost an hour and a half after we initially ordered, and most of us were already finished with our meals. He waited as he was very hungry and we kept being told by the server it would come out "soon" more than once. The server assured us the kitchen had received his order when all of ours were submitted. After my husband finally got his meal, our server offered to have the manager come to our table to see if they could "do something". The manager came to the table, but offered no explanations, absolutely refused to take any action to rectify or make the situation right, and just seemed to shrug it off instead of offering any real apology. My husband worked for many years in restaurants when he was younger. He knows how customer service SHOULD be in a restaurant. The other adult family members with us were appalled. We've all had experiences in restaurants where something wasn't right, and none of us could recount a time where a server or management didn't offer some way to compensate, such as taking something off the bill, a free beverage or desert, a voucher for a free appetizer in the future. This visit became the that first time. While the particular server we had that night was sincerely trying to help, overall, the service there isn't worth it to any of us to return. read more

Yesterday my family and I came here for dinner. We had a coupon for a free appetizer and we decided on mozzarella sticks. They were absolutely delicious and served with a pizza type of sauce with shredded cheese on top. It was very good. For the meals, I had the pulled pork sandwich. The BBQ sauce was very tasty, but I did encounter a small piece of bone in one of my bites. The sandwich was served with a "coleslaw," but it was dry and wilted. Kinda gross, but I had enough food as it was. My mom had the road beef dip that she enjoyed. I have personally had it before and the beef has a very good flavor. The meal is simple and not too heavy. It is served with au jus which is great for dipping the sandwich or even the fries. My sister ordered the boneless wings appetizer in the bbq flavor with a side of fries. She liked them. My dad ordered a ribeye steak that was average. BJ's isn't a steakhouse, so it was about what you'd expect, but not bad. I think all of us could agree that their French fries are absolutely delicious. They are shoestrings, but very crispy and crunchy. They have good flavor. One of my favorites around here. On this occasion the waitress was friendly and did get everything we asked for, but she would disappear for a while at a time. This was kind of annoying when we would be looking to flag her down for something, but she did do a pretty good job. Our drinks were kept refilled and such, so there want much to complain about there. In past experiences, about 2 weeks ago from this past visit, we were brought to the bar for seating. I am a minor, as well as my sister and my parents highly dislike when we are brought toward the bar. It isn't appropriate for children. But overall, the experiences I have had here have been pretty good. I recommend coming here. They have really stepped up their game since they first opened the location. read more

The Joke is on US!!! There is NO sauce on any of their pizzas !!! We've tried them all...the managers have made a 2nd when we complained that we asked for EXTRA SAUCE while ordering......and even then there is no sauce. This past weekend we had family in, ALL of us wanted good deep dish pizza, so we vowed to each try a different one......love having lots of left overs for snacking later. Great service, good beers, salads were good, and pizza was great....except we each scraped away the cheese, whether barbecue, or any other feature...on our ordered pizza......the only tomato we saw were chopped pieces on top of the mushrooms, etc. To be honest, when we called the waitstaff/managers over.....we refused seconds, showed them our pizzas, reminded them of the previous free 2nds they made for us.....and then asked, "What do we have to do to get tomato sauce on our deep dish pizza??" They all looked as surprised as we have been.......each and every time. We'll be back, but we now know......forget the sauce. read more
