I hosted my baby shower here on 6/4/23 for a total of 70 guest. David D. Ramos - Senior Dining Room Manager helped me plan my event and did all the coordinating for my event. On the day of my baby shower everything from the service to the food exceeded my expectations way beyond what I was expecting. Our servers were Arturo, Yesenia, Oz and Isley. They were so nice, so attentive and so on top of everything. Angie the hostess was also an angel! She was so helpful. The manager Mary was also on top of everything. Few nights ago, I convinced my boyfriend to give BJ's a try instead of going to Captain's Tavern since he's been there gazillion times. I think this was his 2nd time going to BJ's but he didn't remember much from the first time, which was when the restaurant first opened up. We were seated in a booth. The hostess was kind of quiet but nice and calm. The server came by few minutes later and informed us that their systems have been down so the food may come out slow. Since we did not want to wait too long, we ordered as soon as the server came back. Then the news came that the systems were working again, woohoo. The Shrimp Quinoa came first, then the Hawaiian Gluten-Free Pizza, and the Crispy Zucchini Fries last. Shrimp Quinoa was great but we felt really thirsty while and after eating it. My boyfriend thinks that there may have been MSG in it. I am not sure, but it was good. Crispy Zucchini Fries tasted like fried strings of batter. There was no taste to the zucchini at all. Pizza was average. Service was fine. We were given cards to come back and try their Pazookies next month. I've been to BJ's a few times years ago for Happy Hour and food was good. Drinks were fine. Recently moved to the area and I was looking for a restaurant close by that had a bunch of items to satisfy me, my mom (picky) and her boyfriend (even pickier). We came on a Saturday night around 7 pm and found parking quite easily. It was a packed lot but many spots a little further from the entrance. We waited a total of 8 minutes for a table and our server Cricket greeted us right away. He was fantastic! He suggested a beer for me and my mom to try (yes, we loved it). I've had bacon guacamole burgers before but this one was amazing! My mom ordered the shrimp scampi and I may or may not have had some of it and it was banging! At the Falls Mall on a late week night we decided to get a quick bite to eat and drinks at a place we haven't tried so made our way to BJ Restaurant This chain of 202 restaurants nationwide has been around for a long time and when did a lot of business travel especially in the west coast it was a familiar go to place to take clients for lunch or a few beers during happy hour. This location, however is new to us was very similar having a great variety of beer selection and good food. Place is very clean and nicely decorated mostly out of wood. Large menu of different beers is at center of restaurant and hard to miss and without a doubt focused on one of this restaurants specialties. Staff was very friendly and helpful in selecting beer choices even allowing us to taste selection before ordering. Prices made it a good value and food quality was good and delicious. Only thing that wasn't thrilled about was their desserts and seemed much better in menu pictures than it actually was otherwise would have been a 5 star review. Overall we had a good experience and would recommend especially to the beer lovers and hope to visit this place again soon. read more

I visited the location in Fort Myers 4-5 years ago, honestly it was terrible. Tonight I convinced my boyfriend that this one had 4 stars and it's in a different city, must but better! WRONG! First, I can't get over the smell when you walk in of spoiled beer, the floors were sticky and I was sat in a table that beer was spilled under. I asked to move as I can fell the splat under my sandals ::cringing:: I ordered an orange soda and a tropical mule..... not sure what was up with the bar, every drink tasted off. I saw other tables also returning their drinks. We ended up with water. Appetizer, we ordered the avocado egg rolls. Its definitely having an identity crisis. Sweet Asian Sauce, southwestern flavored avocado sludge. The color was off inside the wrap, the sauce was way too sweet and left a strange after taste. I honestly just wanted to get up and leave at this point. The smell was overwhelming. As I looked around for my waitress Andrea, I'll remember her name because she was the only memorable thing there, she was GREAT. I didn't see her so I walked up to the hostess stand to request the manager. Alex, very slick, came at the same time as my entrees were being bought out. I told him my experience so far, he comped the app and drinks as they were undrinkable. I told him about the smell, he just dismissed the issue. The entrees consisted of the ...... BJ's is the type of restaurant that offers great customer service and nice decor. When it comes to the food I must say it's fast service. Here is where they fell short of me. I ordered a Caesar salad and once he came the croutons were stale. I politely asked my server if I can have fresh croutons, and he offered to exchange the whole salad which I agreed to. The new salad came and the croutons still were stale. It ruined my dining experience. I had buyer's remorse. I left 15 minutes later and tipped my server. I was very disappointed and I'm not the type that'll complain or call for a manager. I just rather pay and leave. read more

I recently saw a video on YouTube regarding the menu from BJ, it seem to be a brew house slash gastro bar. This past Friday we decided to go to the Fall location and it was packed but thankfully we were seated right away. We decided to order the flatbread, avocado egg rolls, and the boneless chicken wings. The flatbread and avocado egg rolls had a soggy texture and were somewhat bland. The boneless chicken wings were tastier, we order the lemon pepper rube and root beer glaze. The lemon pepper had a better flavor, but I feel the quality of chicken was lacking. Than came time for dessert and I heard they are famous for their pizookie which is a hybrid of a cookie shaped as a pizza so we ordered the trio, chocolate chunk, salted caramel, and cinnamon monkey bread. Unfortunately the desserts were also bland and tasted stale, even the scoop of vanilla ice cream couldn't save it. I've been at the Restaurant quite a few times. The last time I was there service was really slow waited for our beers for almost 20min. It's all good I understand the restaurant industry is understaffed at times and the volume of customers have increased. I work in the restaurant industry so I am sympathetic in that sense. However, I just went back to BJ's this past Friday May 13th, we asked the hostess for a table outside. They sat us at a dirty wet table with empty straw wrappers on them. She picked up the papers however didn't wipe the table and put the menu's down on top of the wet table. The server was super busy and took our beer order that again did take a while to get to table. We where never offered waters as well. My girlfriend ordered the Seared Ahi Salad Entree...it looked nice and fresh...however she said she was up all night sick in the bathroom. Maybe just a coincidence don't know. I ordered the Boneless wings appetizer garlic Parmesan... the food runner or whom ever it was that dropped that appetizer off at the table a female just threw it on the table. Everyone at the table just looked at each other like "Did that just happen?" We then told our server and even he said he saw the girl throw the app on the table and he apologized and got the manager. The manager on duty was kinda just aloof... didn't care much no sympathy ...he just took the appetizer off the bill. And by the way the appetizer was not even edible. I ate one and it was dried out and hard no flavor. They looked like microwaveable chicken bites. So all and all we cut our night short and just asked the server for our bill. He brought the bill over and as I looked over the bill I was charged for a pitcher of beer instead of a regular beer. I mean really? Ok so still forgiving I ask him to pleases correct the price. He took our order and it came out just like we ordered.He was great throughout the service making sure we were satisfied with everything. His smile and attention never wavered and made our meal and our time there pleasant. I visited November 27. I went for a quick snack before Thanksgiving. The service and decor were good. It was similar to Applebee's, Chilli's, or TGI Fridays, but nicer. I do not drink much, but their cocktail were vast. I ordered a combination appetizer plater. Everything was fine, but I have tasted each item done better at other restaurants. The variety was a plus. For what it is BJ Brewery is good. It would have been better to review full meals, but I didn't want to eat much the day before Thanksgiving. BJs never disappoints! It's always a go-to and always hits the spot. Although I've written a BJs review before for another location, I'm writing this one specifically for the service. Our server, Adam, was fantastic, friendly, and likable. At first I ordered a Lagunitas beer but unfortunately, he came back to tell me they're all out. I then ordered another IPA but when he came back, it was again to tell me they're out of that one too! He took notice that I like IPAs and he recommended some beers. At last, after the third choice, he brought my boyfriend and I our beers. Food was great, as usual. And dessert was even better! I've been to a few locations for BJ but the one at the falls is by far the best. We ended up here after a fail at another place (sokai), and let me tell you that the service at this BJ was incredible! I wish I got the servers name because he was great. There are so many menu items to chose from but my taste buds were in the mood for soup and salad. So unlimited really did mean that. I had 4 yummy soups and 2 delicious salads. And I coulda had more but I was super full. My hubby got the salmon with veggies and the fish was perfectly cooked. Horrible service. Walked through the door. Girl behind the counter is more concerned with her phone, she never bothered to look up at me to say anything as I walked in . I asked her where the Uber pick up was. She pointed left without saying a word. No one was behind the counter for Uber orders. I had to wait 10 minutes staring my food on the counter. I turned to ask the young lady behind the counter at the entrance. She just walked into the kitchen area and didn't bother to come out. It's no wonder this place has 3 stars.
