I rather drive to this LongHorn because the service is much better than the one in Kendall that is very close to my house. I was surprised today when I asked the waitress how many sides were included with the dish and she said one. Before I always had the side dish and the salad. I ordered the meat and a potato and was not offer the salad. The other person ordered the dish and a salad since there was only one side, before the same dish was served with a salad and fries. Horrible experience! Went for lunch and waited over an hour for food that never came. Was told that the manager was personally working on our order but nothing ever came out. What a great meal. We celebrated my father's birthday at LongHorn this year. Our server gave us great service, including bringing my father a warm piece of chocolate cake with ice cream. An example of what happens when oversight slackens. We used to dine here frequently. There seemed to always be a lady overseeing everything. It was our understanding that she was one of the owners. Everything appeared very clean and well-maintained. Service was very good. Fast forward a year or so. After frequent travel and being too busy to dine out much, we return. It was a completely different experience. The rug at the entrance was very dirty. Carpeting had food on it. Menus were grimy. Booth looked gross. Our waiter, a young man, didn't come to our table for the first 15 minutes or so. We were ignored in favor of the booth behind us. I was never offered refills on my soda, despite eating a spicy appetizer. When I did ask, it took a very long time, with him attending to other tables. He forgot the extra saad dressing. When we asked for the bill it took him a very long time to bring it. After requesting the bill, we saw him go to another table with 4 people and take their order and, again, attend the table behind us. It looks like if you are a party of only 2, you will be low priority. I will not return. read more

Management needs a complete change. The way this longhorn is managed at the front is way below good customer service. Ian, the manager, does not know how to treat his customers. Front desk told us 25 minute wait - we waited 35 minutes then asked for an update& we're told 25 minutes more. I complained & he could have cared less - terrible management skills. What saved the night was Dominique. She heard me speaking to the manager & saw he did nothing & she offered to seat us at one of her tables that was empty. She was an amazing server, attentive & caring & understood that we were not treated correctly. Food was good & ambiance would have been better if they knew how to process customers to get them seated correctly. Our first and last time coming here! Placed our order and specifically asked the server to bring the child's steak (WELL DONE) as soon as it was done, since the adults had ordered soups and salads. Also, asked for extra butter for the bread. My daughter and I ordered a churrasco to share and asked for an extra plate. Soups and salads came out. No child steak, no butter. Adult food came out, no child steak, no butter and no extra plate. Ask the server to please bring extra plate, butter and the child's food. They Never came back. Finally someone came with the child's food. We could see on the plate BLOOD and sure enough the steak was RAW - bloody. He took it back - no butter and no extra plate. Child's second steak came out.... SAME. Gentleman came to "apologize" and at this point we just told him not to bother with the child's food she was eating off of ours! I ordered take out on a Friday night. I ordered a well done burger with no sauce and fries. I also ordered a sirloin steak with fries and for an extra three dollars a side of soup. Only sides included with meal are fries or broccoli. Everything else is extra. The burger was cooked well done but unfortunately it had the sauce in it so I had to throw away the bread. The fries weee to be seasoned but they weren't it and there was only about a handful of them. The chopped sirloin was basic tasting. Once again unseasoned limp handful f fries. The soup which wa an extra three dollars was half way filled. They do give you a bonus loaf with the meal which is nice. read more

Have revised several Longhorn Restaurant. I really liked this restaurant because it's new and everything seems fresh and clean. We were fortunate to to have a great young waitress that went out of her way to take care of us and give us great service and I wish we would have remembered her name to give credit we're due. As far as food and bar this location is just as good as other location I've reviewed within the the Doral, Kendall and this one also in Kendall, but in the beautiful Falls Mall. I came to this long horn early Friday night and it was great! If you go i suggest going early evening because there was no wait but by the time we left there were a lot of people. When we were seated our waiter, anthony, was great! He got our drinks and brought our bread which was delicious.
