My fiancé and I ate here on their fifth day being open and you'd think they had been open and functioning for years. The service was among the best I've ever had. Every waiter or waitress who passed by our table said hello and smiled. A man by the name of Miles was our waiter and he was entertaining, energetic, knowledgeable, and above all service oriented-he went above and beyond! LOTS OF CRAFT BEERS AND GREAT COCKTAILS! I had the Hefeweizen beer, and an American Mule....both are incredible!! The food was incredible! I had the prime rib which was very juicy and flavorful. The horseradish dipping sauce was not overpowering, yet provided just the right amount of kick to where your taste buds will recognize the taste. The steamed mixed veggies were very fresh, not soggy, and not too hard. Their cheese mashed potatoes are very tasty and taste authentic. Finally, the pazooki is without a doubt an awesome dessert to top of an already feast of a meal. It's a large cookie-several different kinds-that tastes freshly baked and are served warm with a scoop of ice cream on top. It's large enough to split between two people. Don't leave without at least getting it to go...it's the bomb. I will be a lifelong customer! read more

I'm always glad to have new restaurants open up in Mobile, but this one won't make my list to visit regularly. I'm pretty sure the servers don't like the bartenders because they won't run their food for them. If you don't mind waiting on the food or strictly want drinks - sit at the bar, but the bartender informed us they aren't allowed to leave the bar so don't expect a quick meal otherwise. Chocolate Chip Cookie pozukie is pretty awesome. Don't waste your time with the soba noodles. read more

Just another BJ's. Nothing special. The Pizookie was great. The fries were a let down. Could definitely be better.

Had dinner here tonight for the first time. The food was amazing and I love all the healthy options! WAY TO GO BJ'S! While the food was great what really makes me want to go back was the service y'all! This crew was awesome from the time we walked in the door. They were sure to tell us at the Hostess stand to download the app and register so we get a free dessert. Then we had the pleasure of meeting Missy. She was our server. I am certain Missy has never met a stranger. She was outgoing, product savvy, and could multi-task like a beast!! She truly is the reason we will be back over and over again! Be careful BJ's or someone might try and steal her away! Y'all ask for her when you go!! read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Mobile. Their specialties are burgers & pizzas. We ordered the prime rib. Not tender enough for hubby so they swapped it out for the rib eye. OMG! It was delicious! We inhaled it so quickly I was unable to take a pic! The berry burst cider is the bomb too! Gotta try it! read more

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Breweries Near Me - Mobile, Alabama

We are driving from Florida to Texas and stopped for a much needed dinner. We were disappointed upon ordering to find out that they were out of wings and baked potatoes. My son didn't like the flavor of his ribs and the manger didn't really care that our experience was less than desirable. Our server was fantastic but the food was less than great. After dinner and talking to the manger we qualified for 35 mins for our dessert. It was not a great experience overall and I doubt we will be back. read more

so..... I'm a beer drinker first of all, great selection( little pricey and abv was not correct on certain beers). im also vegan had the barbacoda cauliflower tacos( with adjustment) The Most Amazing thing I've ever ate out in a restaurant since now I'm not eating meat or cheese. omg! even carnivores would love this. can't say enough about these tacos! wait staff( Sabrinia) excellent!!!!! read more

Food was good but pricey. Server was very good. I would have left a higher rating but the place was absolutely freezing you could hang meat in there -- it was probably in the 40s. All the guests were bundled up in whatever coats they had with them. Despite our polite request they failed to correct it I later learned that the manager was working in the kitchen so it became very clear that he was freezing his guests out for his own comfort. Shameful. We will not return. read more

They have grate service and staff. They are very gluten free friendly too .100% recommended

Terrible. The hamburger patties were 1/4" thin and badly burnt. The loaded bake potato was bland and nothing and I ordered a mini gluten free dessert and got one with gluten. I would not eat here again. Just passing through so not something I have to worry about. Lol read more

Go here for corporate meetings with my boss and coworkers often. Always great service and great food!!

Food was exceptionally good at BJ's, which is not uncommon. Have been to a couple different BJ's in different cities this one is new to mobile, AL. Happy hour drinks were delicious as well read more

I have been to BJ's twice since it opened.. and I have to say I am impressed. The first time I went with a rather large group and the second was with one friend relatively late at night. The service was outstanding both times and the food was just as good. If you go, get the brussel sprouts! They're roasted with a balsamic glaze. It was so delicious I ended up ordering another one the first time and again on my second visit! So far, I have tried their black and blue burger and the Parmesan crusted chicken. I liked both! I have had really great experiences overall and would recommend. read more

I was required to give one star. I guess that one star can be for the spinach dip. But, that's all. Thirty minutes for our drink order to be taken. Forty five minutes for our drinks to arrive and my drink was incorrect. Ten minutes later I was able to get a server's attention (not ours) to correct the drink. Ten minutes later another server brought what was supposed to be a sparkling raspberry lemonade. There is no "sparkle" at all to it. Five minutes later another server brought me another drink which was totally different and told me it was a sparkling raspberry lemonade. Ok? It was sparkling either. Ordered the appetizer combo after sitting for over forty-five minutes. Twenty minutes later it arrived. Cold. The only think on it that was good was the spinach dip. Chicken was fried gristle. Mozzarella sticks were cold. Eggrolls did not even closely resemble their picture on the menu, not to mention the unidentifiable mush inside them. So, over an hour later for lunch on a Tuesday, with only one adult and two kids, I paid almost $40 and left hungry and irritated. Never again. read more

every time has been great. good food . great selection. wife and I always enjoy ourselves.

Always a great choice. We've been a few times and never been disappointed with the food or service.

WOW! Whatever you're doing, can you teach other restaurants to do it too? First experience for my wife and I and you just aced it. EVERY person on the staff was top notch, made eye contact and thanked us when we left. The food was creative and wonderful, the lower calorie options were amazing and the menu is huge. Can't say enough about this place!! read more

Awwwweeesome. Had a great experience at this restaurant. From the open floor plan to the big screen TVs, Mobile needs to pay attention to this place. My calamari was on point and the choices of brews and alchohol rivals most. Forget Walk-Ons, come to BJs! read more

I was happy to see a BJs pop up in Mobile. It was our go-to favor in Colorado, and I really liked it. The main reason? The varied menu could keep or immediate and extended family very happy. I believe I have tried at least half the menu, and I would have to say I have enjoyed every single dish. I was happy to see that this location honors the same recipes, execution, and attention to service as all the other locations I've tried. There are lower calorie options for those inclined, and they are every bit as tasty as any other menu item. When I can't decide which great item I want, I'll order my usual: one of their flatbread appetizer pizzas and an order of there broiled Brussels sprouts with Sriracha. Oh, and beer selection is always outstanding, with draft and specials on the big board. I recommend this restaurant to anybody, without qualification. read more

Stopped by mid afternoon and the hostess told me there were no seats available. She did not give me a wait time, just no seats available. I normally eat here once a week, guess I will have to find a new spot. read more

Not impressed. There was no wait at 7PM on a Saturday and only about 2/3 of tables were occupied. The waitress was friendly enough. They have a good beer selection and I liked the decor. Food was just OK. I had wings and a salad. The wings were mediocre. My wife have a pizza which was good. The experience was not one I would have written a strong five star review on but turned worse when I killed a roach crawling on the wall by our booth. I realize that with that much food in a place pest control is a real issue but this is a new building and should not have those kinds of problems. There are a lot of good options in Mobile, this is not one I'll try again read more

I ordered the new nachos with extra chili. Instead of giving extra chili, all chili was removed from the order. When I called the restaurant, the representative said it was their mistake and they were sorry. They said they could not give a refund and there was nothin they could do other than give me a cup of chili the next time I was in the restaurant. Even with the chili, the nachos would not have been very good and certainly not worth $13.99. read more

Food and service was excellent! Tchlinda (I'm probably spelling it wrong..sorry) was an excellent host and had a very good attitude. The quinoa shrimp bowls was delicious! read more

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I can't remember the name of the dish I ordered, but it was a steak and some other stuff, my wife got the boneless wings baskets. But I'm telling you my steak was to die for, amazing, cooked exactly how I started, seasoned so very well. My wife didn't care to much for the wings which is upsetting for her and I, since she's not vet intrested in returning, because in her words how can you mess up boneless wings so bad!! Which I get it, I'd probably been irate over some nasty boneless wings. Since it's hard to mess them up. But maybe they were just having a off night. Or new cook who knows. But I'll be talking her into coming again, and steer clear of the wings! read more

Bj's is my new favorite restaurant in MOB. It took me a good 10 minutes to decide what I wanted before deciding on the gluten free pizza with green bell peppers! It was delicious, unlike some GF options I've had it didn't taste drastically different. I was with a group and everyone was satisfied with their meals. We got the trio dessert and all three were delicious for a great price. Overall this is a great place to go. Would recommend. No complaints. read more

Awesome pizza and great burgers too! Love going there and getting coupons for savings .

Quick family lunch with my daughter in Mobile, so we try BJ's. First the service was exceptional, from the hostess to our waiter and management. The two appetizers, Brussels sprouts and cheese dip came out both cold. The cheese was returned for a replacement promptly by our waiter, decided to just make due with the sprouts. Our entrees were delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Chicken Alfredo was bland with little to no taste, it was as if someone boiled noodles and poured milk over them. The chicken in it was tasteless as well. The whole dish lacked seasoning. Medium 6 slice pizza was decent, not a lot of toppings, also " just warm ". Boneless wings were decent and the fries were flavorful and crispy. The staff and management were exceptional and deserve credit. However, with COVID and all you take the good and the bad that comes along with the kitchen staff. The Alfredo was taken off the ticket and a dessert was also given. With a $20 tip the ticket came to $90. read more

Very pleased with our visit. Great atmosphere, service and a large menu to choose from. Something for everyone! We had lunch, a 1/2 California chicken club + Lentil soup and a Nashville Hot chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was very good. Interesting daily specials too. read more

Terrible Experience! I came with a party of over 20 and recieved horrible service. Waited over an hour for drinks and then food even longer. Catered to other customers until we were the last table sitting and we still had to wait! The manager is absolutely horrendous. After explaining what happened she proceeded to insinuate that it was my fault and that I didn't know what I had ordered. Was able to get food replaced with something else however the overall experience was ruined and the atmosphere could not be fixed. Would not come back and would not recommend! read more

So my husband chose this place. I normally try to stay away from chains but it was his turn to pick. Sooooo...... i did appreciate all the vegetarian choices and lightened options. I ordered the Peruvian quinoa bowl. It was pricey and barely any food. It was pretty good though. My husband enjoyed his southern comfort burger and the fries were good. The pizookie was over cooked and hard. At least we downloaded the coupon and got it free. Meh. read more

I like this place.. could like it more though. Let me explain. Smiles: Good pizza. Good beer. Good margaritas. Good environment. Good staff. If you like to drink and/or eat, you can find a guzzle or a slice of happiness here. Frownies: The menu is a vigorous nod to the Cheesecake Factory or any Jersey diner. By the time you get through it, you could have binge watched 28 seasons of Gilmore Girls. Yeah, and the dude fixtured to the end of the bar. I've visited this restaurant while on travel a few times, and this gentleman clearly has engraved his ass groove into the wooden bar stool second from the end. He plays children's games on his tablet and engages in an enthralling one-sided conversation with the bartenders (whom I so pity). I wouldn't hate on the dude if he hadn't come in one time coughing everywhere like he was nipple deep in tuberculosis. To my dismay, in the 50+ years of his consuming time and resources on our planet, hadn't realized the elbow attached to his arm could be used to shield the innocent bystanders who sat within a football field of his lung cannon. Moral: Sit at a table somewhere away from the bar. read more

We had a reservation for 8:00 on a Wednesday night that were made earlier that morning. When we got there right on time we had to wait for over an hour to get a table. When we ordered appetizers at the bar they wouldn't let more than one person come and eat because there "wasn't enough room". Once we got to our table we had a nice waiter so that was ok. read more

Yum! You have to go here! From outstanding service (ask for Grant ) to a wall full of draft beer, this place is top notch. I got the parmesan chicken with cheese on it. Normally I love this place but recently the service is really terrible. Just the servers have attitudes and can't answer simple questions when i ask can my daughter sub her fries for something as simple as fruit. I know the answer is yes but I ask hey what fruit do you have cause she doesn't eat alot. Just know I will sit at the bar with some awesome bartenders from now on read more

We went back yesterday. Everything was perfect. The food the service, atmosphere. It was all good. We will be back so glad to find a restaurant that cares about their customers.
