Experience 1: 2* We were greeted upon entry and we decided to order to go. We were advised that we could scan the QR code for the menu. It was a Friday night and the music was loud, you can sit at the bar or at a table. It was several people eating in. We decided on the Wings with Cajun Nawlins fries, and the Bando Nachos. The Bando has a full menu and bar. The service was great and it wasnt a long wait for the food. I asked for sour cream and salsa for the nachos and they didn't have any so I stopped by the store to get some. I was super excited to try the food. It was super salty. Everything was salty. I tried to move past it because I was so hungry but it completely dried my mouth out and I had to stop. I was really disappointed. Experience 2: 4* We had to go back and give it another try before I left and I'm so glad we did! We had brunch. I had the Chicken and Strawberry Crack Waffle and my friend had the Lamb Chops, Shrimp and Grits. Everything was so good! Big A came to greet us and we told him about our food a few nights before and he explained that the meat is marinated and they probably seasoned it again. He was very apologetic. He told today would be better and he would ensure it. The food was fresh, hot and tasty! We really enjoyed it! We also got some gumbo to go and it was really good! As an Atlanta native, this place felt like HOME in the best way possible! The ambiance was clean and open with a side region for events. The staff was friendly and made some good recommendations including the CRACK LEMONADE (no really that's the name--and let me tell you, we were indeed addicted haha!) The food was delicious and so flavorful. I think they make everything fresh to order. Everything came out piping hot and amazing. We can't wait to go back! This was my first time and I will NOT be back. My food took at least 45 minutes to be ready, despite the rest of the table already receiving and finishing their food! The grits were gritty like they had been at the bottom of the pan sitting all day. The floors are sticky and it just overall looks sad inside. I didn't have a great experience at Big A's Bando Brunch Bar Grill. I really want to enjoy it because I saw some great reviews. I ordered the chopped cheese which comes with fries. When I got home with my food and opened the box and didn't see the cheese. I thought maybe I was tripping. I ate the fries first and would worry about the cheese later. When I finished the fries, which were not bad, I turned my attention to the chopped beef. I picked up the sandwich and on the bottom saw a darkish green spot on the bun. The was mold on the bun!! I could not eat. Was there not any more buns? read more

I went there Sunday with a friend. I had the N'awlins Grits with shrimp, what a wake up to the palate. The best food I have had in forever. I cannot wait to go back and try more menu items. We had family in town and we need somewhere to accommodate 25-30 ppl. They were able to accommodate us and the food was so hot, fresh, and delicious. The serving portions were great! Big A's has an amazing array of food to choose from. The wait was a little long, but oh so worth it. The blueberry waffle was magnificent without syrup. The chicken was seasoned to perfection. I wouldn't consider or recommend to anyone and I do mean any one me my husband along with our family and mother in law came here for my sons birthday breakfast, upon arrival the atmosphere was okay I couldn't complain but the service was not at its best we were seated and waited a good 10-15 mins for the waitress to take our order we all ordered at the same time and all received our food at different times everyone ate at a different time. It took 1 hr maybe more just for my food I ordered a red velvet waffle with chicken and a side of eggs which was $8 extra I got my waffle first took 30 extra mins for the chicken and didn't get my eggs til we were about to leave at that point I didn't want them anymore. The entire family ate piece by piece nothing came out a complete meal. On top of that they do charge every adult a $10 fee for the music that they decide to play it's just a hot mess. Maybe the cook was having a bad day today... ordered to go and got home and my burger bun was burnt, like black, not charred but burnt and tasted burnt. Like I know they saw it was burnt but they fixed the burger anyway . The wings were not cooked enough, skin was very chewy. The burger meat was not dry and was tasty. Wing sauce was tasty also. Restaurant ambiance is very nice, lovely vibe and great music. CHECK UR FOOD BEFORE LEAVING. I will give them another chance but will dine in so hopefully this won't happen again. read more

Ehh! Mediocre at best, but I may give them a second chance since it's a fairly new place. Service was SLOW, and when I found out a place named as a "Brunch BAR & Grill" didn't have any beer I ordered water, but wasn't warned by our waitress that they only have bottled water for $2.50 each. The food was good, but as I already said the service was SLOW at both the seating stage as well as getting our orders. Plus, my 3-stars is a generous one given because they are new. If no better the next time, my review will be lowered and appropriately noted. read more

food was overpriced and seemed undercooked. chicken was good though. server used the restroom and DID NOT WASH HER HANDS. disgusting!! the sweet tea was thick entirely too much sugar. server only took our order and brought us our food no refills or checking in. this is the only time ive dined in somewhere and NOT left a tip. the inside was nice but definitely wont dine in again if i ever do go back. read more
