Wednesday night or one of my favorite nights at BJ's it is burger night. My go to is the smokehouse burger, delicious burger served with barbecue sauce onion rings and I substitute the pepper jack cheese for the cheddar and it is normally a home run delicious meal. Last few times I've ordered my burger, medium rare, and the kitchen was able to deliver it as ordered. Unfortunately, this most recent trip come at the kitchen reverted to its normal over cooking the burger, standard fair. Thankfully, they did not make it well done there was still some pink to it so I did not have to send the burger back. The earrings were not as plentiful and generous of a serving as is normal, but they were still very tasty. The french fries were mediocre. My family and I had a great experience in the past so I decided to celebrate my birthday here. Our server was Faith. She was great with drinks and taking our orders. Things started going downhill when my brother received his tri tip. He mentioned to Faith that it was over cooked and was not to his liking. He asked if he could get it corrected, and instead of being attentive to my brother's request, she replied with this negative tone that "tri tips are slow cooked (something along those lines) and that you may not get it the way you like it." There was no, "let me see what I can do." Just this is how it is and how it's done, take it or leave it. The vibe after that interaction killed the experience and set a tone of not wanting to be there. But knowing it was my birthday, I was at least excited for the free birthday pizookie. She asked if we were interested in dessert but not once did Faith mention the free pizookie or offered it. We paid our bill and she said Happy Birthday. While walking out, I wanted to confirm that BJ's still offer that complimentary pizookie. So I asked a server who was working on silverware before I exited the building. "Hi, do you still offer a free pizookie for birthdays?" She replied "yes if it's your birthday." I work in Customer Service and this was not it. But I do want to give a shoutout to Alexander. Our last server prior to this experience who made me want to come back to this establishment bc he was a 5 star server. Amazing experience! Faith could take some pointers from him. read more

Today's service was exceptionally slow. I dont know what went wrong or there were promises kids there or what... We got there around 7pm tonight. Waited for our table for what seemed like 30+ minutes.. we didn't get a table until 745pm.. and only after we asked the front desk person a couple times.. we got to table and waited more. We didn't get to order and receive our food (Caesar salad) until 8pm.. kid ordered mini corn dogs+fruit, I ordered crispy Korean style chicken sandwich, and a Sante Fe Salad. The black cherry soda was out today also.. so we ordered 2 root beers instead. The food was just okay. They used to shave their parmesan cheese for the Caesar Salad.. but not anymore. Also the food took A LOOONG time to come out despite what we ordered.. I'd never been to BJ's before, but I was pleasantly surprised. The meals tasted homemade and freshly cooked, not like typical chain food, and the portions were a great value for the price. Well... where to begin. This might be a long one. Reservations for five as the kids decided on family dinner being here. We arrived on time to be greeted by two hostesses who looked too young to even be employed and more interested in flipping their hair than actually working. After about ten minutes, we were seated. First seating for a large family was a small booth, so we asked to be seated at a bigger table. Second seating in the back of the restaurant close to the bar and kitchen. Initially, our waitress seemed expedient and friendly. Took our drink and meal orders and brought drinks out quickly. First round of drinks were fine.. Appetizers were mozzarella sticks and spinach and artichoke dip. Entrees were a bacon cheeseburger, baby back ribs with a loaded baked potato and broccoli cheese soup, chicken parm, beef dip sandwich, and a 10 oz ribeye for me. Order made and we waited. While waited we watched for servers standby and talk about random cartoons; one server was loudly having a conversation, with himself; bartenders seemed disengaged at times from the patrons. But as the bar filled in they seemed to liven up. I mention the servers talking only as a reference to our food. One of the servers being our own. When our food finally came out, you could tell immediately that the food had been ready for a while. Second round of drinks were bad. Shirley temples were watered down, orange soda had an unfamiliar taste. That did not get drank. Main course came out after about 40 minutes. The bacon cheeseburger was acceptable, chicken parm, the noodles were overcooked, dried out and room temperature. They were so unacceptable that we had to send it back. The fresh noodles came out in less than ten minutes The baby back ribs were poorly cooked and bland. Baked potato looked unappealing, and the broccoli cheese soup tasted like velveeta cheese soup. The beef dip came out and Was barely warm and dry. The steak was fairly cooked well, albeit a bit chewy and overly fatty. Disregarding the servers discourse, our server wasn't overtly bad. And she was nice. But the service was eh. Food was ick. At least we were able to keep up with March madness. read more

Well when we got there we were seated right away it took about 10 min for the waitress to come to our table (Kate) my husband wanted to know if the fish can get cooked another way other then cooked in beer batter they did accommodate him with the regular batter. When they brought us our food my food was on half the plate and the other half was empty was the plate too big for the food or what? My husband had the fish and chips the fries on top looked great but the fries underneath looked like they were old. Kate did apologize and brought out more fries. We stopped in on Veterans Day because BJ's was offering a free Pizookie to veterans and I'm a sucker for a salted caramel treat. My wife and I had the sliders and a personal pizza, the food was great. The service, our server was very attentive and took good care of us. This post is not just to mention how good the food and the service were. When we walked in there was a memorial for our veterans that was really nice to see. Terrible service from the moment we walked in. Walked in and I got to say hello to the group of hostesses and waitresses talking around the hostess stand. After I was rudely greeted by the hostess we got sat by another lady and given a menu and then she just walked away. A couple of minutes go by and a group of girls get sat behind us and were QUICKLY helped by a waiter. Some more time goes by and still nobody has helped us or asked us if we needed a drink, just a bunch of servers walking by us. We just got up and left. The rude hostess who had greeted us waved as we walked out. Lost out on a hundred bucks but I'm sure they will be fine. I just don't recommend going there if you are a small party of 3 with a child. Friday around 6:45 June 26 2026. We ended up going down the street to Chili's instead. The difference was night and day. The hostess held the door open for us as we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. Upon arrival at around 11:45 AM place is pretty dead not a good sign for lunch for a place that's supposed to be known for its pizzas and ambience and Great food so I was skeptical . It was pan style and I can tell right off the bat that it wasn't really hot and it had very thin layers of toppings which to me is a flag right away 80% dough 20% toppings not gonna be good Cut out two slices and took a bite and taste the dough pretty much it was lukewarm wasn't hot. There's no cheese pool. The toppings were so scared. There was more cilantro. Yes cilantro on this pizza then there was sausage. I'm not going to complain but pizza's pizza but for $30 I would've bought this. I would've been totally upset 15 .00 and I could take a loss. Southern fried chicken my daughter tells me it was pretty good. She got extra gravy with it and the unlimited soup salad was good I was told the soup didn't really taste like it was made fresh they're probably in a bag or a can, especially if if was from Sysco The desserts were pretty fresh too with that cookie special ice cream. My partner and I stopped by BJ's on a warm afternoon after a trek, and it was just what we needed. The place looks decent, with a welcoming atmosphere. We started with a Chilled Margarita and the Chip and Artichoke Dip, which were both excellent choices. The margaritas were particularly refreshing after a long day in the sun. Our server was incredibly helpful, especially since I don't consume meat, and they took the time to guide me through the menu options. I had mushroom soy noodles in peanut sauce, sauce was well made. No one came to take our order for over 10 minutes and when he did come by, he was the same guy who had been clearing tables while we sat there waiting. But the worst was yet to come. Our ahi tuna poke was served with no guacamole, just the tuna. Then my wife's sante fe salad came with no avocado. My wife was going to ask the waiter about both, but we had already decided we would not be coming back. Too bad. Went for dinner on Halloween night... it took two hours and the place was not even super full and based on other reviews this seems to be a norm.... so just keep that in mind. We got the 13 dollar special and got the burger and the italian pasta. The pasta was a decent size even for lunch BUT the chicken tasted kinda funny... not my favorite. I enjoyed the angel hair pasta and the sauce though! The burger was REALLY delicious, super smoky and flavorful. We also got the mac and cheese couscous even though we thought we ordered normal max and cheese and it was slightly below average. The onion rings were also very good and crispy. A little salty for my taste but good. The pizookie (?) was good, I got the strawberry shortcake one and I appreciated the fresh fruit BUT the cookie part wasn't fully cooked and it was so incredibly sweet. The problem is that curbside means "wait 15 minutes past the expected ready time and then go inside to pick up your order that is getting cold" despite checking in using the app and already paying 18-20% tip -- which is over the top ridiculous. However, when we arrived it didn't seem like the hostess was happy to have to find us seats because we had a party of 9. It was my daughter's birthday dinner with her friends and she picked this spot for the dessert cookie. The food was not good. My only problem with this is because there were at least 12 TVs in here and multiple were showing the Dallas game. We had one tv changed and we're told because someone asked. Got home and it looks like someone else's leftovers from their plate. There were literally 8 slices of brussel sprouts (equal to Maybe 3 whole sprouts) in the take out container, the weight of it felt empty. I've had this appetizer in the restaurant and it is a giant bowl that could serve 4 easily. Ridiculous and so disappointed. One person told us we could add a couple of seats to our table, but then a tall skinny white male stepped in and was incredibly dismissive and rude about it (maybe a race thing). This used to be the go to place for years when we wanted a deep dish pizza. Today we ordered a deep dish pizza and got it home. The crust is like cardboard, overcooked, and has no taste. I thought maybe we were accidentally given the wrong crust until I looked online and found out the recipe had been changed. I stayed away for several years until recently & it's still slow, but at least the food was better this time. Like 2 hours for lunch. Whyyyy??? It's not like they were busy or understaffed. I guess it's just their thing. My friend also spoke with a manager to reserve a large party next month after already waiting for another manager to get back with her for confirmation. He was not the guy "in charge", so he would get with the original manager (who had just left). Two weeks later and my friend is still waiting for a call back. My coworkers and I came here for the Beer Dinner and really enjoyed our time here. We had been talking about making this a group outing for a while and finally came in for the May dinner. I was a bit worried since I am a vegetarian if there would be enough options for me on the menu, but that was ultimately not a problem. We were greeted with chips and salsa, which might of been the best salsa I've ever had. It was smoky and delicious and I easily ate a plate of chips to myself. I skipped the chicken soup and the flat bread but really liked the Santa Fe salad and gave my chicken to a coworker. The shrimp tacos came out with some really good beans, which I enjoyed and stole everyone else's to take home. They even offered to make the dessert to go, since the ice cream would make the pizookie into mush, which I appreciated. I would have loved to try to beers, but alas I am on a cut and could not afford the calories. Our spinach and artichoke dip was warm and toasty, and the tortilla chips were fresh. We got bone in lemon pepper dry rub wings that were juicy and seasoned perfectly. My bacon guacamole deluxe burger was cooked perfectly to my liking and the portion was so generous, I could barely finish it. I liked the crisp breading on my fries. Bloody Mary and Margarita were both good. Iced tea was bitter - no lemon/lime offered. The guacamole, salsa and chips appetizer arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was really good. Salsa was smoky tasting and guacamole had chunks. Ample amount of each. I ordered Parmesan crusted chicken which came with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Broccoli was undercooked but better than being mushy. Had a gift card so waitress suggested paying online. Partner is very tech savvy so not a big challenge usually with apps. Not so here. Ordered Brussels sprouts and they tasted old plus it tasted like watered down sriracha mayo, not honey sriracha as advertised (our waitress got us extra honey sauce and it was better). We got the kicker chicken sandwiches and plates came out hot. We asked for honey mustard dipping sauce, and when they were delivered I noticed the sauce was chunky??? After a while discovered carrot shreds AND A WHOLE GRAPE inside the sauce. Definitely not the ingredients of a honey mustard sauce and we did not order anything that would involve these ingredients.
