I was offered a choice of fried or pan-fried. I assumed that fried meant deep fried, so I picked that. The dumplings I was served were pan-fried. The filling was an under-seasoned ground chicken with a bit of a pasty texture. The slaw served with the potstickers was tasty, but the dipping sauce was incredibly salty. I would not order this dish again. I also ordered a personal BJ's Favorite pizza, and that was really good! The only real downside of this location is that the people at the hostess station are kind of unwelcoming. There is often a group of people at the station who are more interested in chatting with each other than greeting a customer. The main hostess during the day acts like you're annoying her with your request for a table, even though the restaurant isn't that busy. The waitstaff seems to get overwhelmed when it does get busy, so you often have to flag someone down if you need something. Despite the staff problems, I still like BJ's and will return.

Here is where my 2 stars go: 2 of our guests arrived afew minutes after we had been seated. I waved at them letting them know where we were seating at. They had brought their baby with them on a stroller and their toddler as well. I was not aware that when they arrived, the three ladies, the Hostess that were at the front had not greeted them well. They made comments like, oh you guys are with them? We are fully book and there's a long wait. Mind you, I made a reservation. The only accommodation that was needed, was, space for the stroller and a high chair. When I was made aware of the rude comments and mean faces made to them at the front, I looked for Joel. He was already speaking with the manager, to accommodate my guests. I let him know that that wouldn't be necessary after all, that my son's uncle and aunt have decided not to stay, after the comments from the hostess. Joel apologized for the unfortunate event, the manager just walked away. I have been here before, and had never encountered an experience like the one they had. Please train your hostess to be a little more kind, respectful and to make every guest feel welcome. Thank you Joel for the great service, you get 5 .

The idea of it's a family establishment is bogus. I'm literally there with my family and every one of us trains BJJ and I myself train BJJ and judo and have had multiple professional fights in my younger years. My kids know this, and sometimes pull me up on YouTube to watch "Daddy fight" there's nothing virtuous about excluding one family because the unrealistic idea that another family might be offended. I was very disappointed and will not be back because I am a man of principle. I guess me and my family are just barbarians how dare we enjoy pugilistic contest. I spent a significant portion of my hard earned money to take my family there. Gas is $6 a gallon and everything is expensive, finneys needs to appreciate every customer that spends their hard earned money in their establishment. I will not be back. There are plenty of other places in town.
