Nope. Staff was either rude or absent! So we waited two hours, we figured wait was kind of normal because it's relatively new. And when we finally got in there, we then realized why the wait was so long! The dining room only had booths! No tables! Hopefully that changes but regardless, they shouldn't have opened when they don't even have any other tables or chairs! Then we only saw our waitress twice. When we came and took our drink order and food order. Other than that, it was runners from the kitchen. Price was way too much for quality and quantity. One example, my daughter got Mac & cheese with fruit... she got a small cup of grapes & a small bowl of what was literal Kraft Mac & cheese for $8. That's crazy! Even our free bread was small, & came with no utensils to help cut or scoop bread and frozen butter. I rather go out my way to black angus. It's a way sketchier area but the restaurant is way better. But then... if this guy is just "this way" cool... but he was wayyyyy to talkative with my 4 year old daughter! He came to our table 7 times trying to "joke around" and talk to my daughter. My husband and my radar started blaring the second time he came around! And honestly... even my daughter felt the vibe.. she didn't want to talk to him! Take a hint my guy. After this... we left... we wanted to take our food but couldn't find anyone to give a to-go boxes for 20 minutes after we had already paid our bill so we just left. Maybe we'll try again when staff is better trained or when they get "used" to having costumers... but for now it's a no.

We decided to try LongHorn Steakhouse on a Thursday night, and it was busy. We used the "join waitlist" feature on Google beforehand--it seemed to go through, but there was no confirmation, so we weren't sure we were actually on the list until we randomly got the "table ready" notification. It felt a little glitchy, so just something to keep in mind. Parking was also a bit of a challenge since it's in a really busy shopping center, but we eventually found a spot. Once inside, we ended up getting lucky and snagging a two-top near the bar, which the manager confirmed was open seating--so we didn't even end up needing the waitlist. A super nice server cleaned the table quickly and ended up taking care of us. You can tell the staff is still new--some seemed a little nervous--but everyone was friendly and trying. We kept it light with drinks and appetizers. The Parmesan crusted bacon fries were really good--salty, crunchy, and cheesy in the best way. The wings had good flavor but were very salty--we had to dunk them in ranch to balance it out. The cup of shrimp and lobster chowder was decent and loaded with vegetables. The bread was just okay. The bar area has a few TVs and a fun vibe, and there was a constant wait the whole time, so it's definitely popular already. They also offer the option to pay by phone right from your table, which is super convenient if you don't want to wait on the check Overall, it was good--solid first impression. I'd come back to try some entrées and desserts next time

Food was great. They had only just opened for business and really worked to make the meal delicious. Attached are photos of the stuffed mushrooms, salmon, and ribs we enjoyed. It was very clean and welcoming; the seating was comfortable as well. The staff were able to accommodate our dietary needs. Plan on returning.

Called ahead at 4:40 pm for a table of 6. Was told it was a 60 min wait. Cool. We got there @530 and was officially checked in. We watched as party after party went ahead of us. We don't usually complain but an hour went by to 630- they said another 20 mins. Great- then another 20. We finally got sat @725. Almost 3 hours after i called to add our name and waiting 2 hours in the lobby. The restaurant itself is small. There was a whole open area by the bathrooms where they could've easily added more tables. I was going to give 1 star but the service and food really made up for it. Yissel really made up for the whole experience. We didn't have to ask for refills, she asked how everything was multiple times- she was prompt in everything we needed. She even gave the kids a dessert for the wait. A manager never checked on us but we did see him walking around. Their trainer Frank was funny and kept the kids entertained with his magic tricks. The space can't accommodate large parties since they really only had 2 big booths and everything else for a 4 top. Food was excellent. We got the spinach dip and mushrooms for appetizers. Ribeye cooked to exactly the right temp. We will come back just because of how good the service was. Thank you Yissel!

DELICIOUS! Was excited for this location to open and got to go for dinner last night. It was busy and we did have to wait for a table but we walked the shops while waiting. Enjoyed the atmosphere and was spacious and clean. Our server, and her Trainer (Yissel & Gigi) were amazing! Both so friendly and attentive. I had ordered the Flo's Filet (rare) with mashed potatoes and it was seriously so good!!! Cooked perfectly and I swear it was like it melted in my mouth. The seasons were just enough and so flavorful. I'm not even hungry but craving it right now just thinking of how good it was. Can't wait to visit again - and even order to go sometime!

Needed a steakhouse in the Mountain Grove plaza. Very clean and modern steakhouse vibes with a large seating area. SERVICE: They are still figuring out their waitlist and the place is busy! So join the waitlist to help. Once there, everyone was super friendly. Our server Selina was superb!! She was friendly and super attentive. FOOD: Ok, glad I listened to the reviews. The steaks can be super salty if you order as-is. I ordered the "light seasoning" and my steak was great! Tried the Texas TOnion which was a great way to start. The Redrock shrimp was also very tasty. Overall a great restaurant. Still some work needed in getting people seated and the food took a while to get to us, but that is expected with a new place. Come with a little patience and you'll be happy. (Oh and don't forget light seasoning - unless you like it SUPER salty)

Since this is the newest restaurant in town we decided to give it a whirl. The wait was about 1.5 hours long and we were told it would be 1 hour but it's ok, it was a Friday night. We were seated and it was really cold inside the place. We asked our waitress if they would turn the heat up a bit and she said she would. We all Ordered thr 8oz sirloin with a baked potato and salad. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. Our server was on it. She checked in periodically and made sure we had what we needed. Her name was Taylor S. Thank you for the great service.

Flo's 6oz. Flo's Filet with 4oz. Lobster Tail. They forgot my lobster and the filet doesn't look like what ordered.

We were there as soon as it opened. This was the worst experience and we had dine at this location previously. What went wrong? 1. No bread from the waiter but he brought out to other tables. 2. Ordered Flo filet cooked medium but what I got didn't appear to be a filet. 3. Ordered lobster tail and didn't get it until we had to remind them. 4. Waiter was slow to refill the drinks and didn't come back to our table after so many messed up. We won't be coming back. Having a runner argue with me about a filet is not worth the experience.

    Milan H.

I asked for a medium rare steak and it was barely cooked. Waitress was hard to get a hold of as well. I wouldn't recommend this spot. Better off going to Texas Roadhouse if you want to hit a chain steakhouse

Adriana in the bar high top area was stellar! Loved the service and atmosphere at this longhorn. We had the perfect Sunday dinner and enjoyed a hearty dinner. The spinach dip was delicious and the steaks were cooked for perfection. We enjoyed everything but what made it 10/10 was our waitress. Adriana was amazing gotta highlight top customer service. Happy we have one in Redlands now!

We came in on a Sunday for dinner and used the waitlist option to be seated. This was so quick and efficient! Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile by the hostess. We had a quick drink at the bar, served by Austin who was friendly and got our drinks to us quickly. Our table was available as promised and we were seated in a nice booth. Everything was clean. Each staff members was friendly and helpful, especially our server. TAYLOR T. She was kind, friendly, helpful and attentive. We had a salad, ribeye, and a lobster tail. Our meal was prepared as ordered and arrived in a timely manner. Thanks everyone! I only snapped a photo of the salad. Again, shout out to Taylor T!

Flo's Filet, Loaded Baked Potato, Fire-Grilled Corn On The Cob

The service was good, never had to ask for a refill. The filet was a bit undercooked, the potato was not stuffed enough. The bathroom was gross. The corn is verrrryyyy good.

Dirty utensils and these were the second ones I had them "replace"

We wanted a good…read moresteak and a place to unwind, so I took a chance on Ye Olde Lamplighter after seeing the reviews. Pulling into the parking lot, we weren't sure what to expect, this place blends right into its surroundings and gives major "if you know, you know" energy. It's literally next to a collector's shop. Walking inside felt like stepping into an old movie, very cozy, dim, and full of character. Booth seating is limited, so we started at a small table with the option to move once a booth opened up. Drinks in hand, we took in the scene and quickly realized this spot has karaoke and a loyal group of regulars who bring the entertainment. We ordered pan seared ahi and potato skins to start, and once we moved to a booth, the food arrived. The ahi was fresh and surprisingly good, especially for my first time trying it. The potato skins were classic and paired perfectly with our drinks. For entrées, we both went with the ribeyes and chose baked potatoes as our sides. The steaks came out tender, juicy, flavorful and honestly far better than we expected. The kind of meal that makes you pause mid‑bite and look at each other like, "Wait... this is actually delicious." And the pricing? Perfect. Almost unbelievable for the quality of the food, service, and overall experience. Between the great steaks, friendly staff, lively atmosphere, and the chance to just relax and enjoy each other's company, this place delivered exactly what we needed. We'll definitely be back.

I'm glad I didn't listen to myself, and we went in and had a great experience. I would say that this place is like an old-fashioned steakhouse, dark, but comfortable. The bar area seemed to be occupied by regulars, as did several of the booths and tables in the dining area. We met Lisa & Dave, the owners, and Lisa waited on us, while Dave was tending the bar. We started with two Old Fashioned cocktails, one a Crème Brûlée and the other a Blackberry. Both were unique, outstandingly delicious, and at $9 each, a real steal. So much so, we shared a second Crème Brulé Old Fashioned. FOOD: They started us off with a complimentary basket of Cheesy Garlic Bread. We ordered the Sautéed Mushrooms ($14) to share. My mother-in-law got the Lamp Burger ($13) served with fries, and my wife and I both ordered the Prime Rib (Queen Cut $37) served with veggies & fries. We both got the side salad, but I also ordered a cup of Chili Verde soup ($5). I asked for a side of blue cheese dressing and received a small cup of the homemade blue cheese dressing using Gorgonzola which was fantastic! We finished it off with their Brown Butter Cake ($10) served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I can't begin to emphasize how delicious everything was, and the service was top notch. I guess the lesson is, don't judge a book by its cover (or the parking lot). We had a delicious meal, fantastic cocktails, and excellent service. We'd most definitely return for another visit. It's a perfect place for a date or a night out with friends or family. The focal point of the main dining room is the bar, which faces the restaurant's entrance. Meticulously designed with a nostalgic feel, the bar features blonde wood shelves holding hundreds of vinyl records, carefully curated design objects, and a DJ booth neatly tucked into a corner next to the bar. The beer taps are elegantly minimalist, and every detail in the bar--for example, the old-fashioned glass syrup bottles--seems planned to give a nod to history (specifically the late 19th century, when Redlands was founded). The main dining room offers plenty of comfortable seating choices, including a long bar along the center of the room. The patio is spacious and well kept. All of the spaces inside and out have music piped in from the bar. There are two restrooms just off the patio, and these are well-maintained. On busy nights, patrons can enjoy a drink in a standing bar area just off the patio. I love that the Overland provides a choice of setting depending on the kind of night you're planning. A romantic date? Get a reservation to sit inside, and it feels intimate. Just hanging out? The bar is fun as the mixologists make excellent drinks and friendly conversation. Sitting at the bar after 7 PM, you can watch the DJs spin the platters. If you have a larger group or just like to eat alfresco, the patio is perfect. The menu offers a really nice variety of drinks, including the pricier craft cocktails, more classic, moderately priced beverages, nonalcoholic drinks, and all sorts of beer and wine. The food menu is solid, with plenty of appetizers, salads, entrées, and a dessert. The real star is the tacos! These are very moderately priced at seven dollars apiece, and all three varieties are delicious! There is a potato taco, a beef taco, and pork chili Verde taco. I highly recommend these! The green salsa they provide is extremely mild, but they do have a variety of hot sauces on hand. It's worth mentioning that even a humble plate of tacos is served on nice ceramic dishes, along with good flatware and napkins. The espresso martini cheesecake is creamy and delicious, and the portion is really generous. The staff seem to enjoy working at the Overland. The servers work hard to make sure your order is to your liking, and food comes out pretty fast. There's a good sense of teamwork among them. The staff is also accommodating about seating or any special requests. We've been there on a busy Friday night, and on a Sunday evening and late night. Our server explained to our friend that he should sip a little of the drink, then chew the Szechuan buzz bud for about 15 seconds, letting it coat his whole tongue, then enjoy the rest of the drink which would taste different afterwards. Our friend went through all those steps and said it was incredible, like all the flavors were enhanced along with different sensations in his mouth, kind of numb and tingly. They didn't ask if we preferred outdoor or indoor seating, but we were seated inside right next to the kitchen. We heard that indoor seating was better for service anyway. The interior of the restaurant was "very fancy," and my daughter thought we were in a date spot. We knew we wanted French fries and opted for the garlic Parmesan fries. At first, the kids were weirded out by the arugula, but my daughter ended up enjoying it, noting the bitter and salty notes. My son devoured the entire plate (not the arugula) and asked for another round. We also ordered the lemon ricotta French toast, made from Brioche bread, lemon blackberry butter, whipped lemon ricotta cream, blackberries, mint, and maple syrup. They perfected the crispy exterior, which contrasted well with the fluffy bread. My wife ordered the breakfast pizza--a focaccia pizza topped with marinara, ham, spinach, fresh tomato, red onion, a sunny-side-up egg, and herb-infused maple syrup. This was really delicious with the tart, fresh tomatoes, the salty ham, and the sweet maple syrup. I ended up eating the sunny-side egg by itself, so we didn't get to try the pizza with the egg. Lastly, I ordered the steak and eggs, but it was sadly a small portion. I ordered it medium rare, and it came out medium. The seasoning was a bit strange and would have been better with simple salt, pepper, and garlic. The mimomas really made my wife happy. She started feeling it pretty quickly. She chose the pineapple juice while I got the traditional orange. Not sure if the alcohol made the food better or the other way around. I was brought to reality when I saw the expensive bill, though.

I look back nostalgically at those meals, and we occasionally look for a fondue restaurant around the time of our anniversary on December 28th. We've tried the Melting Pot and Rok N Fondue in the past with some success. Being in Redlands on the 27th, we made reservations for Rok N Fondue. I was worried as their Open Table link was not working, but I left a reservation request on their phone and they were quick to text back a confirmation. Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted and taken to our table. We ordered their Rok N Cheddar cheese fondue to start. It was served with cubbed bread, tortilla chips, granny smith apples, carrot, celery, and cauliflower. The cheese consistency did not seem to ever properly coalesce. We did a lot of twisting a tearing of cheese to get the provided dippers covered and out of the mix. The taste was good, but the celery and cheese was not a good mix. I ordered the chicken breast, and Robin tried the Bourbon Street - Cajun seasoned petite filet, chicken, shrimp, and andouille sausage. The fondue entrees come with potatoes, mushrooms, and broccoli. The chicken was okay especially using their provided dipping sauces - Chimichurri, Teriyaki BBQ Sauce, and Sweet Chili Wasabi. The vegetables cooked up well and were tasty. Other than the precooked andouille sausage, there did not seem to be noticeable Cajun seasoning with the Bourbon Street entree. Overall a good meal, but not great. The service was attentive and friendly and the building itself is beautiful. They provided us a tasty New York Cheese Cake for our anniversary. It was a nice overall experience.

The ambiance is warm and romantic, making it a great spot for a date night. The staff is friendly and attentive, which adds to the overall experience. The only downside is the wait time. It can take a while to get seated and for the food to come out, so patience is definitely needed. The prices are on the higher side, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. Overall, we enjoy our experience here and would definitely recommend it. Solid 4 stars.
