    Steak and shrimp scampi
    Robert V.

My family and I had dinner here for New Years. The ambiance is pretty much the same. Warm and inviting brewery/sports bar vibe but yet classy at the same time. We started as always with chips and salsa. I had a Committed IPA and my oldest daughter had a skinny margarita. I had steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli, my wife had the Caesar salad, my daughters had pasta and wings. We enjoyed watching Ohio State lose to Miami. The service was adequate, but the server was a bit unprofessional, it felt like we were being served by Spicolli from Fast Times.

I like this location. The food has always been solid. Not amazing but good. But I'm here for the pazookie! I've been here 3x and it's been a good experience. The service is always good. It's always busy at this location. I love their white peach drink with boba in it. Very refreshing. I've been to the hurst location which the food was not up to standard. The alliance location messed up our orders but it was fixed and okay.

It's been a while since we revisited BJ's, especially the Southlake location. We've always loved BJ's Clam Chowder. It was a late-night dinner -- the soup came out quickly, but our baby back ribs and flatbread took quite a while. The fries were a bit salty. Service was okay, and the lively full bar atmosphere brightened up the night.

After work stop for some gossip and happy hour. During the week was pretty empty and we had great service! Appetizers are a nice price at $7 and HH drinks are available as well. We liked everything we ordered, guacamole egg rolls, potstickers, and wings! My gluten free coworker was happy the wings are not breaded and sauce was great. I loved the pot stickers! I eat Asian food a lot and these were yummmmy! It's a nice location, with shopping close by. Easy to get on/off the highway. It's casual or business style as you please. Definitely returning to try more eats!

Tavern cut flatbread after I added sauce at home. The large feeds one person.

I ordered the tavern cut pizza thinking that it was a actual pizza. When I got home, it was actually a flatbread. The crust is cracker crust and because of that has very limited topping so no matter how many toppings you buy it will only support so much topping. The crust is large so only the center of the pizza actually has toppings. This is a very poor choice at this restaurant. The deep dish pizza, which is really not deep dish. It is a crust that is made of more of a croissant dough loaded with butter, deep dish has multiple layers of cheese and sauce. This pizza does not. If you need something filling go deep dish, the tavern pizza should be sold as a flatbread as an appetizer. Even at half price not a good deal.

It had been a LONG time since I ate at a BJ's--we used to quite a bit back in college, but I hadn't been since. I'm glad we came back after all this time because this meal did not disappoint. We were greeted and seated immediately. The waiter was very attentive and our drinks were never empty. The food was a good as I remembered. I ordered an 11 inch 5 meat pizza and a Hefeweizen beer. The pizza had a crunchy, crispy crust and flavorful toppings. The beer was exactly what a Hefe should be, full bodied with sweet and fruity notes. We skipped dessert but I saw "flights of pizookies" (three smaller sized pizookies of presumably different flavors) being served to other tables, and boy were they tempting. But in the end the pizza and beer was more than enough. Unlike other restaurants whose veneer has faded over time (I'm looking at you Buca De Beppo), BJ's looks like it has kept up a quality product and meal experience. We will be coming back more frequently for sure!

    Fresh Mozzarella and Tomato Salad

I haven't visited BJ's in over a year, and when I did visit, I visited the location in Arlington/North Richland Hills. Never, did I have an issue. On 08/18/2021, I was in the mood for BJ's and I decided to take a chance through UberEats. Oh man, what a mistake that was. My order: Mozzarella Tomato Salad: Per the picture added, it was swimming in the dressing. The greens were soggy and sparse. The dressing was so salty, I wasn't able to enjoy the salad and it went straight to the trash. Mini - BJ's Favorite Pizza (Deep Dish) Come on, you can't be serious with this one. Not too long ago, I was chatting with someone about BJ's and they mentioned their pizzas weren't worth the bucks. Sadly, they were right. The "deep dish", shouldn't even be in the description. It literally, was a bunch of bread with toppings thrown on top. The veggies (as you can see), were thrown on top and not even soft or cooked along with the other parts of the pizza. The bread was soggy underneath and was a complete wash, I'm shocked they tried to pass this along as pizza. Strawberry Shortcake Pizookie - Out of the whole meal, this was the only saving grace. For that, I gave them two stars. Due to the large menu, I can't say I'll count them out. However, I will visit my usual location, and I will not order BJ's online.

    Boneless wings EXXXXtra hot(not hot)
    Zach M.

I went bc I had a gift card and wanted a pizookie. Food was so bad that I chose to not even get it. I sat at the bar, service was good, had a few whiskeys. I got the boneless wings EXXXXtra hot. They weren't the slightest hot and tasted like frozen Nuggets reheated. I gave up after eating a few. Decided to go with the Club, bad decision. They burnt the bread so the whole sandwich tasted like burnt toast. I'm glad I didn't pay for this experience bc I would've been more disappointed. I also have a 20% off VIP gift card I won't be using in case someone wants it. I won't be back. 2 stars just for the service.

Never a long wait, the food is always great, and I love the drink selection they offer! I also love that the tables are spaced enough so it's not super noisy, despite how many people they seat. Great place for groups with a huge variety on the menu!

Moving to Texas a while back, a friend said "never underestimate a restaurant in a strip mall"…read more Craftway Kitchen in Southlake isn't exactly in a strip mall, but in the outlot of a few big box retailers. We've driven past Craftway Kitchen more than a few times, always intrigued with a 'we have to try that place sometime'. Saturday night was sometime. Taking our chances as a party of three walk in's, the restaurant was full inside, and there were a few tables open on the patio. I generally don't like to eat on patios, because flies show up, etc. Not at Craftway... not sure what they were doing, but there wasn't a fly or other flying bug around. The patio wasn't just clean, it was meticulous. Welcoming too - It felt very much like an extension of the restaurant. Alex, our waiter was quick to bring water and menus. Returning to take drink orders, a margarita was ordered as was a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks were quickly served. Water was never allowed to become empty. Alex asked if we had ever been to Craftway, we informed him this was our first visit. His ask "any allergies?" to which we said no. He disappeared, returning with an appetizer sampling plate with three items - the Reuben egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, and blue cheese chips. All were fantastic! Three entrees ordered, the Chicken & Fig sandwich, Chicken Milanese and the Cajun pasta with Chicken. Food arrived; each entree was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, flavors were amazing. Dessert, shared, was a bread pudding with ice cream, a perfect finish. Alex never let beverages become empty, delivered superb service. The Chef circulated the room checking on satisfaction and chatting with patrons. Giving Craftway Kitchen a very well deserved 5-star rating. The staff did everything right! Departing, we talked about what we will order next time. We will be back to Craftway Kitchen!

Most of the starers are mouthwatering, even the unexpected Ruben Eggrolls are a delight. Less daring items like the coconut shrimp are equally good. Without a doubt my go to entree is the Beef Wellington. I remember La Madeleine had an affordable one on their menu in the late nineties, this is reminiscent. I do usually swap out the mashed potatoes for the chopped wedge as side, just seems like the classical steakhouse side for the task. The only thing I would say that is lacking is the wine list, despite being very fairly priced. Their most bespoke bottle of red is the Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon (2021), which while amazing for the $99.99 they charged, it was fairly flat, lacking the traditional vanilla perfume you'd expect from a pricey California Cabernet Sauvignon. Also took a bottle of GH Mumm Grand Cordon, which also did not taste as anticipated. I think the most plausible explanation might be heat damage, as both wines are usually well regarded but came up short.

Once again, this was a wonderful Yelp event. Kendall and Postino's, thank you very much…read more We chose to visit around the time of opening. After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!

The portions are also huge Our server was wonderful from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often without being overbearing. The service was honestly the best part of the experience. We started with the Sichuan calamari, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly crispy, the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness and heat, and the seasoning gave it a nice kick without overpowering the calamari. It was one of the best calamari dishes I've had and definitely raised my expectations for everything that followed. Next was the tenderloin bruschetta, and unfortunately this one just didn't work for me. The flavors didn't come together, and it was much saltier than it needed to be. It felt like there were too many things happening on the plate without much balance. I wouldn't order it again. For the entrées, the Chilean Sea Bass was very good. The fish was flaky and cooked well, the risotto was creamy, and the sauce brought everything together without being too heavy. It was one of the stronger dishes we ordered. The lobster stuffed ravioli was another solid choice. The filling was generous, there was plenty of lobster on top, and the vodka sauce complemented everything nicely without taking over. It was rich but still well balanced. We also tried the New Zealand rack of lamb. This one had mixed reviews at our table. It wasn't as tender as I was hoping, but I didn't dislike it and again I didn't love it! The blackened exterior and the wine reduction gave it good flavor, but it just wasn't particularly memorable. My favorite entrée ended up being the tomahawk pork chop. The pork itself was juicy, flavorful, and cooked really well. I wasn't a huge fan of the pineapple bourbon glaze since I didn't think it added much to the dish, but the quality of the meat made up for it. We also had the strawberry spinach salad, which was fresh and a nice lighter option alongside all the richer dishes. Then there was also a side dish with green beans and almond and again no complains there. Overall, I left feeling a little conflicted. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and the portions were very generous. The food itself was a mix of really good dishes and others that completely missed the mark. After such an incredible start with the calamari, I expected the rest of the meal to be on the same level, but it just never got there. I'm glad we tried it, but I don't think it's a place I'd rush back to.

It took over 45…read moreminutes for the pickup because it was very disorganized, unlike the other restaurant pickup experiences we had had at that time. Soon after they reopened for dine in we went to celebrate a friend's birthday. Service was disappointing and the food was okay. I figured staff count might have been low at that time. So when friends asked us to go recently I thought it was time. We went on a Monday during their 4 for $44 anniversary deal. Service was okay again. It did seem to improve as our meal was almost over. I must say the Steak & Tater Totter Bites were delicious! I was excited to try the Artichoke, Potato and Leek soup. It is all puréed and I would have liked some chunks of artichoke in it, but it was good. I went with the Chicken Oscar, because I love crab and it sounded really good. It was good, but not as good as I had hoped. The lemon bar was not great, but my husband had the Orange Vanilla Cream Cheesecake, which we had had before, and it is very good. The restaurant was extremely crowded on a Monday night. The tables are very close together and it was very loud. It is a very popular restaurant and I have friends that really like it.

They also have a full bar as swell as beer. We ordered burgers and fries. These are not just average burgers. They are cooked well and served hot with a heaping portion of fries. It was such an outstanding burger. My entire group loved their choices. There are specially crafted burgers, where they have precise toppings. But you can also craft your own. The first time we went, I just got the Bacon Cheeseburger. It was yummy, and everything was on point. The next time I went for lunch with a friend. They have $9.99 burgers for lunch on Wednesdays. What a deal. This time I got the Wake n' Bacon Burger. Sweet and Savory Coffee Seasoning, , smoked Gouda, Bacon Jam, fresh jalapeños, Texas Pete fried Onion Straws and BBQ sauce. I didn't want the sweet BBQ. Sauce, I switched it to Mayo and Mustard that worked better m for me. This was so very good. Again a mountain of fries. I ate the entire burger which I normally do not. Definite great spot for casual dining and the added pleasure of a live band on specific dates and times.

She also made sure that I understood the okra was fried whole. I wish I would've asked what kind of batter, it was tempura style and very thick. It was crisp but the okra itself was impossible for me to bite into or cut with a regular knife, so I was unable to eat it! I wish I would've gotten the brussels sprouts; my friend shared hers with me and they were incredible and a huge portion!! My friend and I came in about 4:30 PM and there was lots of available seating and parking. The giant Bohemian Bull and the other decorations on the walls are a nice touch.

The enchiladas were definitely my favorite -- delicious flavor and a very generous portion of chicken. I personally didn't love the flavor of the noodles, but that may just be preference. The staff was friendly, service was prompt, and I like the casual setup where you order at the counter and then find a seat. I'll absolutely be back for those enchiladas!

It comes with black beans, corn, avocado, and chili, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors worked really well together. I also built two custom bowls. The first with chicken, quinoa, sweet corn, and red chili-glazed sweet potatoes with added extra chicken. The second again with chicken, cauliflower risotto, and olive oil-roasted vegetables. Both were excellent. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, the sauces complemented each ingredient perfectly. To drink, I had the mango green tea, which was refreshing and perfect for a hot day. They also have outdoor seating, which looked nice, but it was way too hot outside, so I chose to sit indoors. The service was smooth despite how busy they were. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fresh, flavorful, and satisfying meal.
