Review is from Mothers Day 2025. I forgot to publish my draft... We chose to celebrate Mother's Day early at BJ's with a large group. We had a reservation. Upon arrival, the restaurant was packed! It seemed like everyone had a similar idea to us and it looked like some groups were high school students celebrating before prom. We had to wait about 15 minutes past our reservation time, but that was not a problem, we understood that guests were leaving later than expected by the restaurant. When it was our time to be seated, another group tried using our name and was seated in our place. I went up to the hostess desk and asked if they would verify our phone number on the reservation because I was almost positive someone had taken our place. I was correct. The hostess sprung into action immediately & got that party out of our spot. That was amazing customer service, she went above and beyond and we were so grateful. I wish I could remember the Hostess name, but she has Black hair that was pinned up, and black rimmed glasses. That girl deserves some recognition! Then our Waitress, Jenna S, was a rockstar! She was so attentive to our group of 12 - which was very impressive considering how busy the restaurant was. I've always enjoyed eating at BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. Tonight was no different, although we weren't very hungry and ordered light. The atmosphere here is nice, with Long bar and exposed brick walls. There are two levels, and a second seating area behind glass garage doors. Our server was very nice and was very attentive. That was great because this place was really busy. That surprised me as it was a Tuesday night. We ordered a caesar salad, a wedge salad, broccoli cheddar soup, and my son had a peanut noodle dish--so sorry I can't remember what it was. The Caesar salad was fine, but the wedge salad was really, really good. I love a wedge salad! The broccoli cheddar soup was very thick and hearty. My son liked his dinner as well, but I did not taste it. Of course we finished with a pizookie. It had been years since coming here and I am so happy we went! It was busy! On a Wednesday night!! Wendy at the bar and Galen was a top notch bartender. He gave so many good suggestions and answered all of our questions. I had the Roast Beef Dip and their own Blonde Beer which was delicious. My boyfriend had their wings and we also got a deep dish supreme to try, also both good. My friends and I went recently and had an enjoyable experience. The food came out on time and prepared well. My burger was cooked well and tasted great. Nothing incredible but solid. I love their house-made root beer. My friends got the appetizer sampler and their clam chowder bread bowl. They enjoyed both. I tried their strawberry shortcake pizookie which was sweet and yummy. We had a pleasant dinner experience. We went for the $13 pizookie meal deal which is available all day monday through friday. Choose any entree from the selected menu and a mini sized pizookie. It is so worth for the price and meal - I am literally so stuffed. We each got the all american smash burger with strawberry shortcake pizookie and cookies n cream pizookie. The smash burger was so good. I liked how it came with the brioche bun and the meat patty was delicious. The fries came out hot and crispy. Out of the two pizookies, we enjoyed the strawberry shortcake more. I also love the portion size of the pizookies because anymore than that would've been too much - so it was the perfect amount. Our kind server, Chelsey, helped us out. She took our orders quickly and was very attentive to water refills and even coming at the perfect time to grab our pizookie orders. Great customer service! Ambiance 5/5 High end Sports themed Restaurant & Bar. Subdued lighting, Rich dark woods, booth, table and barstool seating. Service 5/5 No reservation lunch check-in. 2-3 minutes and host staff seated us. Our server Lilly E met us quickly and let us know about the specials and took our iced tea drink and appetizer order. Lilly keep an eye on our appetizer progress and returned to take our entree orders. My wife added a Cobb salad and called it good. I ordered the Deep Dish Ziti. Food 5/5 The Cobb was timed with the Ziti so we could enjoy together. Ziti and wings were served hot. We agree everything met our expectations and added them back in my Ribeyes collection. Suffice it to say today we enjoyed a perfect lunch which was refreshing after our last couple of visits when the Ribeyes and Prime-rib were improperly cut and over cooked. $59.77 including Tip. We've always come here every month or two, but this place has really gone downhill. Another awkward stare-off with the hostess, cold food, and staff who act like they hate their jobs; the consistent negativity is just too much. We're done with this BJ's. I will get back to the food momentarily, but first off can we address the HEAT! It was so hot in the restaurant! I asked the waitress if it was normally this hot she assured me it wasn't! As good as the food was I won't be coming back until they get the AC FIXED! We had the potstickers and Mac and cheese balls, they were really good. For dinner we had a burger, chicken parm pasta, and Mediterranean Chicken bowl. Again the food was great and Danielle our waitress was very attentive. The service felt like this time was worst than the first visit. The server rushed our order, did not care. But it's cool. We got wings, and had one ramekin for ranch with a table of 5. The portion for the children felt smaller or less? The pizza was good at least. The drinks were good, I didn't understand the fact 3 tvs had the same game. And the only baseball game in the very back. At least there was no wait to be seated, and the restaurant was cool. The trio pizookie was the only good thing of the entire service. ----- I also wanted to test the service to go/ delivery, they don't care for your orders via DoorDash; cause they gave it to someone and my driver was waiting 30 minutes before they told them it was picked up by someone else. I haven't really had very good luck at a BJ's restaurant, but tonight I had a refreshing good experience. The food has always been good, however the service not so. Tonight Kylee B. was our server and she was outstanding! She came by several times and got our food out fast. I had a bowl of chili with a house salad and some chicken wings. The chili was creamy and not too spicy. The salad was fresh. The chicken wings were lemon peppered dry rub. All were very good. I also had a house beer and it was good. The place has several TVs, so we got to watch the AL playoff game. There are lots of chairs and booths and set up similar to other BJ's I've been to. Came in and sat at the bar. The service here was very good! The woman at the bar always kept my drink topped off and was very polite and courteous! I ordered the pretzel and cheese appetizer and an Atlantic salmon, just like the picture. They said the sauce is really good.. so I thought I'd try it out. The pretzel was over cooked, very hard on the outside, but i ate it all anyways. The Atlantic salmon was really good, but the sauce was not. I feel like the sauce ruined the plate. Came on a Saturday night and had a great experience. I hadn't been to a BJ's in almost 8 years but came in for a special occasion. The food was great. Everything well seasoned, came out fresh and hot, and fair price for the portions! Service was good, but not great. Had to keep an eye out for our server as she didn't come around very often. But she was very friendly and helpful, she reminded us we had a free pizookie on our account so that we could use it on our dessert! The girl told me it was no longer than a 10 minute wait so my boyfriend and I drove there right after we called and as soon as we got there (no longer than 15 minutes later) the manager refused to seat us when there were multiple two-top tables open. They said they weren't taking anymore parties for the night which is ridiculous considering we were there at 10pm and they don't close til 12. It was my boyfriend's graduation so I wanted to take him out to a nice dinner but was very disappointed with how we got denied seating when we arrived at BJs. Went with my family for lunch today; 3 adults and 2 kids. Service was good and for the most part the food was good too. Two kids meals were good, and my daughter's cheeseburger with fries were okay. My wife and I ordered side salads to start and they were okay too. Wife's mahi-mahi tacos were good, but my chicken soba noodles were bad. My entree was $20, and I expected more. First the noodles were not buckwheat noodles, but plain noodles and they were severely overcooked. The dish had only slivered carrots and a few pieces of broccoli in it; no bean sprouts, Napa cabbage, or green onions. It's been a few years since dining here and I didn't realize how much I loved this place until our recent visit this weekend. We ordered avocado egg rolls, onion rings, mac n cheese bites and a personal white pizza. We always order the avocado egg rolls because they are so good! The sauce that it's served with is amazing! We always ask for extra. It was our first time ordering the other three items however. The onion rings were probably the best I've ever had, my kids thought so too! The siracha aioli was surprisingly delicious! I didn't think I would like it and almost didn't try it but I am so glad I did. The Mac n cheese bites were made with couscous( which is like round little balls of pasta). The dipping sauces were delicious too! The white pizza has Alfredo sauce, chicken, roasted garlic, fire roasted tomatoes and cheese. We requested no mushrooms however. The pizza was good but would have been so much better with more Alfredo sauce and cheese. The crust to toppings ratio wasn't balanced in my opinion. It may have been an off day but if I were to order it again I would make some adjustments. Overall, I would order everything we had again. It all was delicious! I am giving you a 3 simply because of the waitress we had. She was very kind and had my pizza made 2x but I am wondering.... Are you running low on cheese ? When I ordered my pizza it had very little cheese on it. We did get the spinach & artichoke dip, which was good & my husband had the Philly sub, which was decent as well. I am also confused while you open at 11am, no servers are available till 11:15 am. That makes zeros sense to me. So we were sat they said we had to sit in a certain area but still our waitress did not come in till 1115.... I would think they would be there and ready to handle any guest that arrives when you OPEN ! Absolutely terrible service. We placed our order to go and waited 30 extra minutes past the pick up time. No one was helping the girl at the to-go station. The manager was seen walking around as if he needed to find something to do. So unorganized. If you're behind over 30 minutes on orders maybe then it should be a pause in ordering online or uber orders. I know it's possible bc I've had to do that as a manager to assist my staff. Absolutely horrible food today. We ate here about 5 years ago so we thought we would try it again. The house was packed which usually means good food. My wife ordered the 10-wing plate, and I ordered the Brewhouse Bites Sampler. We explicitly asked for our wings to be cooked well done. That means not soggy on the inside. All our wings were cook medium and soggy. The sliders on my plate were absolutely disgusting. The rolls looked like someone sat on them. The bottom half of the roll was wet. Do you know what's like to eat a burger with a wet bun, it's nasty. The burgers were the size a half dollar and there was nothing on them unlike the beautiful photos on the menu. I asked the waiter and he agreed, there should have been onions on them. Now, the worst part. The chips that came on my plate were wet, wet in oil. Have you ever eaten wet oily chips. I tried one and it was like biting wet leather. I mentioned it to the waiter, he looked disgusted and said he would bring me another plate of chips.... OMG. He brought me a full plate of chips from the same oily batch. How can you not see this. They looked horrible. We will never be back..... read more

Yesterday was National Cocktail Day so my wife and l decided to give B J s one more try. The company had a large advertisement on the Internet. We entered at 3pm and the place was not busy. Found our friend at at a high top table. He had a Beer and we waited for a server to take our drink order. 10 min. Passed no server. I flagged down a passing server and my wife what were the drink specials for National Cocktail Day . He had no idea what she was talking about. I asked for a Dos xx amber beer . He advised they were out. And all of the amber beers on tap were out. I ordered a Coke. My wife asked for the Manager and when She came over my wife showed her the Advertisement in her phone for BJ s National Cocktail Day. She had no notice of it. So my wife ordered water.
