We have been on several occasions and I always shied away from ordering the steak out of caution. I'm glad that i didn't listen to my intuition this time and ordered the NY strip (Medium Rare). I was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful and perfectly cooked it was! Would definitely order that again. Such a nice option, if you are enjoying the casino with good menu variety, although it is a little pricey. Atmosphere (5/5): The decor and over styling of the restaurant is very well done. It's spacious with different seating options (booth, tables or bar seating) Food (4/5): Although, I was blown away by the Steak, I couldn't give them a 5 due to other dishes not being quite up to the same quality. Although part of casino, you would never know that when you are inside the restaurant. Locations is in a great spot, located right inside the casino, offering a great sit down dinning experience before heading to the casino. Ambiance - fancy earlier in the morning turning into an aggressively loud club style brunch inside a mild casino. A bit weird and a little impossible to converse once the music is going. Food- everything was fine. Nothing stood out or was amazing. The avocado on my Benedict was so hard it crunched. I also ended with a hair in it so... not the best. Hubby enjoyed his simple breakfast but for the price we could have made the same thing at home three times over for multiple people. The highlight was the mimosa flight but for the price I wouldn't go back for it. I had been dying to go here since moving to this part of town and I'm so disappointed it wasn't a highlight. Came in with friends for Easter dinner. We've only been for breakfast several times so we were curious how the dinners rate! Our guests had never been to the restaurant or casino before. I had the ribeye steak and a side of Brussels sprouts! Wowza! My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare ! It was so tender I could slice through it like buttah! The sprouts were amazing. They had goat cheese, this delicious chili sauce. I opted to skip the peanuts on top due to an allergy. But I loved the sweet and spicy paring. The rest of the guests all had the prime rib with loaded baked potato. Everyone said the meat was delicious and tender. I guessed it was good when no one wanted to share a bite with me. Easter Sunday brunch was tasty, but what was distasteful was how I was treated after paying my bill. Apparently the the signed check ended up on the floor and the hostess immediately called me on my cell to tell me I had walked out on my bill. I went back to clear things up, as I left a generous tip, to find out the busser had found it on the floor. Our server apologized to me, but the hostess only glared at me and never once apologized. Gila River wanted to know how my experience was and I was honest. Stephanie Devaughn, then reached out to me for more details and didn't do anything about it. We had a great dinner and drinks there tonight. Our server, Mark, along with all of the other serving staff, was fantastic. Very attentive, but relaxed, not pushy and anticipated all of our needs. It is the best service that we have had at a restaurant in a very long time. The food was excellent as well. The flavors were wonderful - not overly seasoned - and served beautifully. Went there a year ago today (02/11/25) and was reminded on my pics. Meant to write a review then but the disappointed was real and I wasn't ready! Long story short: service was extremely slow while we were one of maybe 3 tables there; staff was cold but not rude. Food was bland and extremely overpriced, but decent in portions. Drinks were horrific and the staff admitted they didnt know how to make it. Plus; drinks were VERY overpriced for quality and amount. Ambiance was depressing, too bright and in need of a lil music. EXCELLENT food and top-notch service (William and Mark). Regulars here. At least once a week. Have brought guests and they also love it here. Reason for only 4 stars: They've changed the menu. HATE the fact that they got rid of the garlic butter for bread service and replaced it with honey compote (won't be ordering that again). A guest of mine who went there with me loved the clams. Guess what? They got rid of those too. Menu was changed 4/17/26. Not sure if we will return as often due to the garlic butter even though that seems silly. My friend won't be returning as she only really went for the clams as they are hard to find. Hopefully they will listen to the reviews and change those items back. The restaurant uses locally sourced ingredients even the honey and the cheeses! We got a set menu with family styled appetizers. The Chopped Salad was delish with big pieces of bacon and crispy onion rings! The Fried Shrimp & Shishito Peppers was a hit too. I got prime rib and my colleague got surf & turf with huge scallop and braised short rib! Wow it was great! I tried all three homemade desserts as well. Carrot cake, raspberry tangerine cake and hot apple pie with ice cream. Presentation was so pretty and I loved raspberry tangerine cake the most. My parents live across the street from this place and said that they heard this restaurant wasn't very good. We decided to give it a try anyway since we had a coupon that seemed like a pretty good deal. At first we weren't very impressed. We waited for about 5+ minutes at the hostess stand before someone came out to greet us. Not a good first impression. However as soon as we were seated things quickly took a turn for the better. Our server Ryan was amazing. We started with a nice bottle of wine and the crab cake appetizer. It was packed full of crab and the tomatillo jalapeño sauce was delicious but might be a bit spicy for some. Our entrees were fantastic. My wife's scallops and short ribs were cooked perfectly. Scallops were a very good size and the short ribs were super tender. We also tried the crabcake appetizer. I will say, although it tasted good, I was disappointed that it was not fried or crispy. We were seated almost immediately, but greeted about 10 min after being there. Although our server was friendly he was all talk and no action. After taking our drink order it took about another 10 min before we were brought over a taste of the Pinot so we could decide how best to use our coupon; since the bottle we wanted wasn't part of the coupon, we decided to go with the other coupon option and each get a mixed drink. Our food order was placed and the waiting began... another 10 min passed (now 1/2 hr at the restaurant) and our bread came out along with the bottle of wine our friends got with their meal. Shortly thereafter our meals arrived; two were wrong, but we didn't want to wait any longer and accepted what was brought out, the runner informed the waiter of the mistakes and so he came over to apologize and asked if it was ok. We said it's fine, but where are our drinks? He said the bartenders are slow ( the restaurant was maybe only 1/2 full) anyways, I was already finished with my meal before the drinks arrived. I almost sent mine back but decided to try it since the description was good. It was alright. I really feel we should have been comped the drinks even though we had a coupon. The waiter cleaned our plates up at that point but it took another 15-20 min before we got our bills. This was such a horrible experience for us all we will never go back, nor suggest this place to anyone. read more
