Came here last night for a late night dinner with the family. I was craving buffalo wings so we got the medium order along with the kids stripless chicken tenders. Service was friendly and the food came out pretty fast. It was cold inside the restaurant though so bring a jacket if you get cold easily! The wings were tasty but a tad bit too sour. Well, I'm gonna put this one in perspective -- keeping in mind that we're not in Buffalo, home of the greatest wings. What Native has going for them is their happy hour, especially on Tuesdays, with their chicken wing special currently at $0.79 per wing. Over our recent visits, we've experimented quite a bit. I've had some good luck with a few of their wings, notably the Honey Hot and the Buffalo-style Hot. However, the dry rubs seem to be lacking a bit. I suspect they're not seasoning them long enough, which would allow the flavors to penetrate and enhance the taste. The staff consists mostly of young ladies who do a pretty good job, though at times, I feel the service could be a little warmer, with more effort put into hospitality. Now, the biggest downside -- the noise. The place is far too loud. I can't count how many times we've asked for the music to be turned down. Even when there are barely any customers, you still find yourself yelling across the table. And it's not just us -- this seems to be a common complaint among other diners, so why they feel the need to blast the music is beyond me. Stopped in last night for dinner with my husband. It was pretty busy but we had a wonderfully sweet waitress by the name of Maddie. She came to the table right away to get our drink order, then our food order. The food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. We found out that our server had a big party in the next room along with some other tables near us. I would have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off if I had been in her position. She was calm and attentive, best service I've had in a long time. I wish I could give a review. I really do but: I did something at this restaurant I have not done in over two decades. I walked out. Walked in and the sign said "Seat Yourself" easy, done and done. Waited 10 minutes while others walked in and sat and received menus and ordered. After 10 more minutes got our own menus and conspicuously laid them on the edge of the table and were ready to order. Another 10 minutes and the others who came in after us started getting their orders and still bupkis for us. So, at the 25-minute mark, out we went. Got takeout from Native and tried a few flavors - jalapeno, mango habanero, and honey bbq. The jalapeno wings were surprisingly boring. We ordered them extra crisp, but they were not crispy at all. I know it was take-out, but still. The mango habanero was interesting - smelled very sweet but tasted very hot. Almost like a slightly fruity buffalo sauce; not at all what I expected with mango hab. The honey bbq was good, but nothing special. We also got curly fries (standard and tasty) and sliders (which had a nice flavor, but were a little dry). Save your money! TINY ASS WINGS! There's so many other options for wings. I ordered 50 wings on Uber eats for over $90. I've always gone to native grill and enjoyed it. But after last night experience, I will not be ordering from here anymore. The wings that came were soooooo tiny and over cooked. It tasted like very old not fresh. They didn't even give me 10 wings in each box and there were even pointy wing pieces that usually don't get put in the order. I called the restaurant and they said that they couldn't do anything about it because I ordered on Uber eats and gave me an email to send to complain to the supplier. Not very helpful. Been here a few times, not our first choice. Service is usually slow, as we see employees standing around. Tonight we actually had a hard working waiter. However, before he showed up, a female employee came to our table to take our drink order. Not impressed with her liking at her phone while approaching us. Then we leave. The same girl is at the front desk, sitting on her phone. There is a time and place for that. Not in the customer's presence. Not professional at all. Time to re-train your staff. In light of social distancing/limited seating, and in the spirit of supporting our local restaurants, I have been rotating my fantasy football league to various venues. We prefer places that can seat up to 6 (we sometimes get two tables of 6), have plenty of TVs, nice beer/drink selections and above all, exemplar service! It just so happens we found ourselves at Native Grill one Monday night. And things didn't go well. My wings were apparently supposed to fly their way out of the fryer cause their were pretty close to becoming carbon. My buddy's nacho's, with slight modifications, missed the mark and just led to an aggravating game-time meal. Other dishes were ok. The saving grace? Phenomenal service from Cambree! Our cold beers were always served on a coaster/cocktail napkin, we were never bothered during game playtime, but rather during a commercials and before our glasses were empty. Refills promptly followed. I didn't complain about the wings, but as we were walking out, with no plans to return, a manager apologized for the wings and offered a replacement. It was agreed that I would get them the following week. And that's when our service just got better... Upon sitting down, Cambree asked if we wanted the usual, surprised we nodded, and in short order our usual drinks were in front of us. On top of coasters of course. We were checked up on regularly during commercials, and ordered dinner at halftime. Cambree personally brought out our food and it was perfect and as ordered! Since then, we have been at Native every Monday (and a few days in between). What a way for Cambree to turn a fail into a tremendous win-win! After a hundred trips to Native I feel like they may have lost me for good. Let me talk about tonight's experience but first let me tell you how much I frequent Native. I bring a group of friends into native at least every other week and have put over 600 points on my native app, meaning I alone have spent $600 on food at native this year and that does not include any alcohol. Each of my four to five friends that I come with each have the app so I'm guessing we have a $2500 spend this year before alcohol. Today two of us visited this location. Typically this one will at times put a sign in front of the bar that says please wait to be seated. This is the only location I know to do this, but they get busy, so I understand. Tonight I didn't notice a sign so I figured the crowd died down and we could seat ourselves. We sat ourselves and after about 15 minutes we noticed they were seating others and not approaching us. After 20 minutes they approach and ask if we sat ourselves and I said yes and that I didn't notice the typical sign. At this point no one is waiting for tables. I apologized and said well since I've been here for twenty minutes are we able to just remain here and find us a server and I was advised that I would have to get up and leave and check in for a table up front. I was irate and wanted to speak to a manager upon exit and they offered to seat me but nothing else. If I can prevent one person from visiting based on my experience I have done my job. I won't be back to this Native ever! Tonight I will enjoy a nice dinner at Zipps just a few minutes down the road. Too many choice for this type of service! read more

We like going here especially during football season. We usually get the $25.99 special. It includes 14" large pepperoni pizza,15 traditional wings and Family sized fries. They also have great drink specials so make sure you designate a driver. We sit in the bar where there are high top tables as well as booths and several TVs. They always have every game playing because they have the NFL ticket. This is definitely one of our favorite places to go for football and great food. read more

I had an awful experience at Native Grill at Gilbert & Germann tonight. Karaoke started 90 minutes late due to management refusing to (politely) ask a party who'd been there 4+ hours to move tables to allow the host to set up. It's not that hard - just advise the party early, and offer to comp a round of drinks if you encounter resistance, but BE NICE. Instead it was a clown show of customer service all around. This was not the first time something similar has happened. Please, keep your karaoke regulars happy or we won't be your regulars anymore! We ordered our wings extra crispy and they came soggy (noticed in a past review that they should have poked holes in the containers?? That was not done) none of the flavors quite tasted right. The chicken itself was obviously VERY cheap -- most of them had bruising inside, which is very off-putting to see while eating. Also, the SW salad had almost none of the toppings advertised. Besides the greens and cheese (and chicken and dressing on the side) there was a small amount of corn and that's it!! Looks like pizza is really the only thing we can order there??? Out of the four flavors we got (Asiago Parm, hot, lemon pepper, mango habanero), the mango one tasted really good. The lemon pepper was salty but not much else. The hot was pretty sweet. Our server who I felt bad for seemed to be the only one working. This guy was literally running around serving about 26927363 other tables. We ordered: One large sausage and pepperoni pizza One medium half pound of strippers 15 pack wings (Asiago Parmesan, spicy buffalo ranch, bbq hot) Our pizza came out right away and we were excited to dig in. There were three of us and we had only been given two plates. We did see our server busy helping other people so we could not get his attention. We ended up waving another guy down and he brought us over an extra plate minutes later. Our wings came out right after and ummmm yeah... the wings... The wings were... to say the least not the native wings that I am used to. Both orders of the dry rub wings were gross and not what I have eaten. These wings had no flavor at all and they literally just sprinkled the dry rub spices on top of some plain wings. The bbq hot were also very dry and i want to say these wings had to have been reheated. Service wasn't so great and we sat around waiting for ranch and other things. The server did try his best though to come around and see what we needed. He was so busy. The bathroom was being cleaned and the worker cleaning it was not having a goodnight... Love Native but they were either having a bad night or things are moving in the wrong direction. Tonight we were in the neighborhood and ordered to go. After ordering online and notified it would be ready in 25 minutes we got some groceries. Showed up at Native at the time noted and had to wait an additional 20 minutes for our food. The place wasn't busy and servers and hosts were just standing around talking. Maybe all the cooks called out sick. The food was good but the fries and cheese sticks needed to be heated up when we got home. The Strippers and Salad were wonderful. In this unfortunate COVID world people like to walk in, get their food and get out. That wasn't possible tonight. Also you may want to remind some employees how to properly wear a mask.
