I was MAJORLY craving a sandwich with avocado yesterday and figured BJ's would have it. Their menu is seriously about 20 pages long. Luckily, I was right and I ordered the California Chicken Club. It was super delicious. When we arrived, we were seated quickly. People who came in 30 minutes later weren't as fortunate and a large line was forming. Our waitress was clearly busy but still remained attentive. She even suggested that we return again to try the guacamole after I mentioned how much I love avocado. Girl brought it out, I had to go back in for plastic ware and napkins. I started eating, and this was NOT the same sandwich I used to order. I've eaten at BJs in 3 diffferent states. This is the fattiest, most disgusting sandwich I've ever eaten. The photo is all the fat just from my half of the sandwich!! The flavor was great, as usual.. but uh.. maybe next time put some actual MEAT in there. Then my mom goes to eat the baked potato and she said it was really bland and needed salt.. flipped the car back around and went in again to get salt. The to-go girl told my mom "we don't have salt packets" then just stood there. I know you have rammikins.. the other items were in them! My mom asked if she could put it in a napkin. I think this place is underrated! I've dined in and just last night had takeout and I've really liked their food! I got a full rack of delicious ribs for just 25 bucks! I ordered a med-rare prime rib and it was by far the worst I've ever had and completely cooked to the point of being tough. The sauteed veggies were some how dried out! It was a cauliflower broccoli mushroom and proper mix. My bloody Mary was the best thing I had. My daughter was even disappointed in her chicken tenders that were more breading than chicken. Worst experience at a BJ's ever. I'm greeted by the host and ask if the pork chop was still available. The host told me about the weekends pork chop special which included dessert on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. it was Friday after 4:30. after I was seated I tried to order the special, which was clearly listed on the menu and the server told me that isn't available. she checked with the manager who said it's not available. I ordered the regular pork chop and didn't get my onion bacon jam I ordered with it. I unraveled my napkin and found crusted food all over my silverware. My drink was empty the entire time. The funny thing is I went online and ordered the special from the exact restaurant with the dessert included. So to sum it up, the host, the menu and the internet ordering system all offered the special until it was time for me to actually order it. Will not return to this location. read more

I've order take out maybe a dozen times in the last 7 or so months and each time i've ordered, part of my order is missing or messed up. First 2, maybe 3 times, i'd understand. I LOVE this restaurant! Service can be a bit slow, and there is usually a wait to be seated, but the extensive menu and quality of food really make up for it. Obviously they have a wide selection of beer, but the food menu offers just as much variety. The avocado egg rolls are my favorite appetizer. Their pizza is also amazing! There is also a whole menu page dedicated to "enlightened" options a.k.a. healthier meals. We loved the poke bowl with buckwheat noodles and the quinoa bowl with chicken. Both were super delicious and full of flavor, while still being healthier options. The portions are pretty large (I still had half of mine to take home for leftovers), but if you have room for dessert, you've got to try a pizookie. This is my first time visiting BJ's and I am really impressed. We came the last day liquor is allowed to be sold in Allegheny County for awhile due to COVID. The restaurant is really clean, the staff has been kind and all are wearing masks. Also you view the menu by your phone via a QR code thats on the table. There are not a lot of patrons here and the food came out very quickly. Our server Angie was very kind and attentive. We ordered take out online and paid with a credit card before getting there. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, an employee came out to our car, asked for our name and then told us our order will be out as soon as it was ready. Within minutes an employee delivered our pizza to our car. The prime rib special is a good deal with a salad, two sides, and a pizookie. Eight minutes for a coffee reheat and water refill? Five minutes for the sour cream to come for for the baked potato (which had been requested when order was placed)? We decided to wait at the bar with a cocktail and received the text before we could finish our drinks. For those concerned about the COVID policy, all the employees were wearing masks. We were greeted by our server, Megan, just as we were seated. She gave exceptional service. Her knowledge and professionalism were evident. She was able to make drink and food recommendations, very attentive, polite, and we never had to flag her down because we were thirsty.
