I must have brought some bad juju with me to all the stores I went to last week. First Stew Leonard's, then ShopRite and lastly BJ's. Once again the shelves were pretty empty and no one to ask if there was any additional stock not yet brought out. Not really much to say about the trip. I do my groceries for pick up here and it's always something. They cancel 5-7 items and I clicked to allow substitutions and they never substitute anything. I call to ask why they didn't substitute and they leave me on hold for almost 9 minutes. This isn't the first time, they always do this. 3/15/26 Didn't think they could get any worse! BJ's outsources their deliveries to doordash-garbage company. This is the best BJ's offers for the delivery fee and driver tip. Lazy ass driver refused to carry water up the steps to back door when he was informed prior that he had to. He ended up leaving them on the street after i was issued a refund. If you don't want to carry heavy or bulky items, don't be a delivery boy! Not not problem now. This location is operated by lazy clueless kids; with little to no supervision. I do like shopping the Nyack location-friendly staff. Had to email BJ's corporate to see if they make it right. Drop doordash- grimy!Hope my new Costco membership proves better... read more

On 4 separate occasions we have seen rats in all parts of BJ's in Greenburg store which has a While Plains address. They run all over the store especially if it is quiet during the wk. This has been an issue for about a yr. Mgrs sometimes change in that store on a weekly basis also other workers for some reason do not want to work there. We have also seen the rats leave feces in the aisles, Mgrs brush us off wanting us to leave them alone. They do nothing to help! Do not shop in this store -- a few days ago which became the last time we decided not to return, we saw a rat ran by us near the kids toys. This store has truly gone down hill. They have this stupid robot going around making loud noises possibly to distract you so nobody sees the rats. I will go to the Bx store which has nice mgrs and a clean store! read more

Here I am again. Frozen food is left to defrost and refreeze. Countless times we have bought plantains, wings etc. and they are in a frozen, freezer burned mass in the bag. What's the point of a membership if you don't feel comfortable buying grocery items. read more

This place just opened about 2 or 3 months ago(Nov) where the old Kmart used to be. This is a great location as it is less than a mile from my home. They have plenty of parking. The prices are very reasonable and affordable. Look out for sales and their coupon book. They have a deli with fresh meats and cheese aa well as a mini bakery. They are well stocked in fresh produce. As well as small section of books, clothing and other household items. Don't expect to find big electronic items like in other big box clubs. This place is not big enough for it, tho who know in the future if they expand. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they keep the place clean and organized. So far so good. If it was bigger w more items it would be a 5stars. But I would definitely recommend this store. read more

Be very careful when buying the wedge of asiago cheese by Auricchio. I was there this past weekend and the cheese had something red inside the cheese. Looks disgusting! So anyone shopping there please double check what you are buying carefully. read more

I really like this new BJ's great deli OMG and great products that you can try and I did love walking around the store and seeing the difference if they had I am a member of Sam's and Costco so I love both fine but this gives a little difference, especially with the products. Compared to the other BJs in my area (Pelham, and 231st and B'way) this BJs is an absolute pleasure to shop at. Helpful people, shelves always stocked, lots of parking, and no hassles! The most impressive feature is that self checkout where the scanners and machines all work. At the Pelham and 231st BJs, the machines are held by duct tape, always mis-scanning, always requires someone to reset it resulting in long lines. So I place my order online today 6-15-24 4:20 pm and chose this location because of the set up and the cleanliness of the store. I live about 15 miles away but it's a nice day so let's take a drive,did pick up to car and left my partner to wait for associate, came back to car and noticed two things missing from my small order of 7 items.went to pick up room inside store and told the guy we were missing some items, no apology just started yelling he is very busy , this was a small man with black hair , I told him I understand but the reason I did pick up was because I have a injury -he looked at me with no concern and told me I had to get the 80 pack of water on my own - I explain to him the 40 pack was missing as well he said he cancelled it because it was out of stock To my amazement When I walked to the aisle both items were fully stocked. Walking back to complain he was assisting Another customer who was missing items and was apologizing to the gentleman profusely. I realize his tone was different was it because he was a man and Caucasian not sure but it was evident his regards For customers was not equal But this associate was very disrespectful to me I wonder is this the way he would treat his mother or daughter if they had a disability I will never set foot in this location again read more

I joined this BJ's when they first opened last year and will not be renewing my membership. I've been at Costco member for 17 years and that will never change I thought would be nice to have a bJ's membership because it's five minutes from my house. Most of the time shopping there is a hassle because they are so unorganized with their management at checkout, most of the employees are really rude, the lines are long to check out and you must clip coupons or download them in the app to get the sale prices unlike Costco they're automatically applied it's a real hassle. Today I'm going to check out Sam's Club which is nearby also I like having Another big box store membership with my Costco membership. read more

I've done several Customer pick up and end up waiting in car for at least 20-30 minutes waiting. Another time they forgot something. I sat on hold 30 minutes trying to talk to someone, and drove to the store in the meantime and walked in while still on hold. Tried to talk to a manager. They gave me my missing item but rudely told me there is no one answering phones and I'll walk you out of the store. No customer service. read more

It has been an okay experience until today the person who stands by the front door checking receipts is rude and nasty no professionalism at all (female ). They need to hide her in the back where she sees no one so she can reflect on her actions. I will be reporting her. Because of her you get 1 star, nasty ass. read more
